Hi all,
Since yesterday, my Viber constantly crashes. It openes for like 2-3 seconds, and then it force closes.
So far, I've tried restarting the phone, moving app to SD card, uninstalling and installing, downgrading to previous version, but no luck.
So I'm running latest Viber app, there are also no software updates for ROM (I'm running original ROM, phone is not rooted.)
When I go to running apps in developer options, it just says restarting, 0 processes and 2 services (voipService and AccountAuthenticatorService).
Also, when I go to settings, where is no Viber account to sync, I try to add it, but the account is not there.
I did not install any new apps recently.
I've created issue for Viber support, but honestly it looks that they are reaaaaly slow.
Phone is HTC Desire Eye.
Does anybody have any idea, what is causing this, and how to fix it?

Just got a new tablet. Looks like it's a clone of something of these:
AMLogic A9
iRobot a907
Ramos W10
MaPan MX19S
Hyston 9587
Anyways, it didnt come with market, so I rooted and I installed gapps. It's running android 2.3.4. Everything seems to work except that Google Services Framework crashes all the time. Pretty much background sync doesnt always happen, because Services Framework crashes. It happens all the time! I tried like 4 versions of framework, the one that came with the gapps, honeycomb version (honeygapps from xda), version 2.1, version 2.3.7 and it just doesnt fix it. I cleared data a million times, online says that it might be contacts db causing it to fail.. I removed anything contacts related (the sync adapter and everything.. so there are no contacts anymore on my tablet)... but nothing seems to work.. it just continues to FC, I even disabled background data and auto-sync, it still force closes!!!!! The only method to stop it is to disconnect wifi. I don't know what to do. Any suggestions? It's annoying always popping up every few minutes / seconds.
Thanks.
Hi all gurus, need your helps.
I have just upgraded to 4.1.1 via Kies, XXDLJ1, on I9300.
Whenever I go to Applications Manager, it will has that error or auto exit.
1. I have tried wipe, it is fine, no more issue.
2. I restored all apps from titanium, it comes back
3. I uninstall apps by batch, it turns ok after some number of apps uninstalled. it is not related to particular apps but apps count matter as i tried install n uninstall a different batch of apps, same observation.
4. It always error or exit after i am in the application manager for a few seconds, it seem failed to get apps size successfully counted.
5. I have about 200 apps
Pls help, very frustrated and i tried google for long time but no obvious solution
any tips please?
Same thing with me on Samsung GT-I9300 with Android 4.1.1
I came across this problem 2 times.
The first time it happened when I installed a game "Waking Mars". The game was working fine, I played for around 20 minutes and then wanted to check free storage left after installing. But when I opened Application manager swiping was very laggy and after a few (5-10) secs it crashed with "Unfortunately, Settings has stopped" error or just closed. At that time I didn't know that it was because of "Waking Mars" and started to delete unnecessery applications I installed that day and yesterday, but problem vanished only after uninstalling "Waking Mars". Also, while this app was installed, phone's screen was glitchy and became bleached (the glitch disappeared after rebooting), like when "Natural" screen mode is activated, but it wasn't. When I had tried to install the game again, the problem came back.
The second time it was because of "Galaxy On Fire 2" installed. Same problems appeared: crashing Application manager and glitchy screen.
So I'm pretty sure the problem is because of some exact application, not because of the number of apps installed.
Both games contained their data in ".apk" file, but another Waking Mars version with separate data (cache) caused the same problem too.
By the way, funny thing is that both games are about space
P.S.: Sorry for my English, it isn't my native language.
hi casper1, did you solve the problem? how? same problem here and still persisting, after many many attempts
When i open pretty much any app, it either crashes or continues to function properly EXCEPT when it needs a keyboard. For example Chrome, I try to type in a web address and then it just sits there waiting for the keyboard to open, before crashing. This is also happening with games, Such as Clash Of Clans, which crash upon loading.
I'm not running any 3rd Party Launchers/Keyboard, completely stock HTC Sense.
I was running Themer but uninstalled it about 2 weeks ago
I was running SwiftKey (legit) when this started, I turned it off, and has done nothing, apps still crash etc.

Is your phone rooted? This happened to my friend (keyboard wasnt working, apps crashing) because he flashed the wrong gapps into CM 10.2, but i know you said it is completely stock sense. If you didnt root or flash an incorrect gapp, I would factory reset. If you do, BACKUP first. There might be a better solution than my kind of last resort deal, but it shouldn't hurt.
Hi all,
I have a problem: sometimes (not always) when I open whatsapp it opens and then it freezes and I can't type anything until I close and re-open the app or switch off and back on the screen.
This happens both with stock and custom roms and with stable and beta versions of whatsapp.
Can someone help me?
I also have this problem
Try clearing app cache & data through app management... and reopen whatsapp. Hope this will fix your problem..
your database might be getting too big as well. delete old videos.
just installed whatsapp on a fresh rom, no previous videos in my phone, everything clean
try a different keyboard?
Are you fiddling around with it? For example, installing themes or tweaking WhatsApp?
As the title suggests, over the past few days Bottom Quick Settings has started crashing when I restart my phone.
If I set the phone up and install BQS and then -NEVER- restart, it works, but if I restart it, after rebooting the Accessibility Service associated with BQS crashes and the app will not load.
I've been using the app for years now, and this is a very very recent issue.
I've factory reset my phone several times and tried alternating ways of setting it up, however as soon as I log into my google account, upon the next restart, BQS crashes.
I've even set Play Store to not auto-update anything before associating my account, but the issue still appears.
Any suggestions folks?
Same issue for me. I installed an earlier version, malfunctioning still occurs.
Anyone can recommend alternative apps?

There are no alternatives, I've been searching since making the post.
It appears that an update to Android has made the app unstable, I've tried everything to fix it, nothing works. I've emailed the developer and raised a bug ticket on their site, but no response yet.
