After install LineageOS on Moto E LTE it won't starts - E 2015 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hey, I have that trouble. I was using CyanogenMod 14.1 and now I tried to update for LineageOS 7.1 and after boot the device it don't initialize. Stay on the loader screen and nothing happens. What could be the problem? One thing I've notice is that I can't click on Do Not Install when it says to me install the SuperSu. I use TeamWin . Sorry if I've make some mistake or make a question which was already done, I look for but don't found it.

Wipe system, data, cache, and flash the ROM again
DO NOT INSTALL THE SUPERSU OFFERED BY TWRP. WHEN TWTP ASKS CONFIRMATION TO INSTALL SUPERSU HOLD POWER BUTTON AND IT WILL RESTART

Thaks for the answer, I haven't tried it yet because when I tried I've got a error from the TWRP and now I'm trying to fix the recovery mode which gives me other error.
But thanks anyway, when I fix it and try what you told I make a post here.

You go Mount setting and unclick system mount after flash any rom

not so just re-root ur phone from software which u used earlier and install cwm
Just because you can't get to recovery does not necessarily mean you lost root access. They are not one and the same. LGs are kind of finicky about recovery, If the built in reboot to recovery option from the Power menu is not working, you can try an app like QuickBoot or via adb commands from the computer, or via the hardware buttons like so: http://itechtriad.com/articles/2014/2/27/how-to-reboot-lg-g2-into-recovery-mode#.U14kH_ldWSo
If you actually have lost your recovery (which is unlikely because CM would not change that), and still have root access when booted up with CM - you should - then grab Flashify from the Play Store, put your favorite recovery img file on your storage of the phone, and use Flashify to install the recovery for you. Very easy.

Htc one m9 stuck in boot loop!

I am urgently asking someone to please help me with my situation. I tried rooting my HTC ONE M9 by downloading SuperSU and flashing it through TWRP recovery. But, I couldnt find the zip file in the Downloads section. Then, TWRP offered to root the phone for me and I accepted but I just learned that I should not accept. Now my HTC is stuck in the boot and I need someone to please just help me use my phone like normal again. Please reply as soon as possible.

The latest beta version of SuperSU bootloops on my htc m9. I went back into recovery and installed the last stable version and my phone works fine. Booted a few times before loading though, so if you're lucky you won't have to flash a rom.

But what I did is I downloaded the lastest SuperSU and it was placed in the Downloads folder. However, when I went to recovery mode to install it, it wasn't there. So, then I exuded to reboot my phone to see why I couldn't find it. That's when TWRP recovery asked to root my phone for me and I accepted. That's how the boot problem started. So can I still use your method to fix this ? Please reply as soon as possible.

yes my method will still work, download the stable version of SuperSU and place it in the root folder of an SD card. put the SD card in the phone and then boot to TWRP. From there go to install(make sure you select externalSD) then select the stable version of SuperSU and install. Mine when I do this boot loops a few times before it finally loads, so set it down and leave it alone for a little while. Good Luck.

Thank you so much for your help! I just installed SuperSU and waited or it to boot up and now I am back to using my phone again. Does installing SuperSU also root my phone? If so, then that is great and I'm glad someone out there was able to help me.

Sorry for not replying, was very busy with work so didnt check xda, glad to hear that you fixed your problem with a much easier method than flashing full rom. And yes, flashing super su roots your phone, open supersu app, install binary normally when prompted, reboot phone.
Couple of months later i am back with another problem. i woke up today and my phone died of charge. I plugged in the charger and tried to power up my phone. It was stuck in a bootloop. So, I went into recovery, wiped cache and dalvik cache, rebooted, and still didnt work.
I then went to wipe and did the thing where twrp asks to do a factory reset by wiping cache, dalvik cache, and data. Still didnt worl, so i took out the sd card and did it again. Still bootloops. So, i then wiped dalvik cahce, cache, system, and data. Now, my phone is stuck in the white HTC logo with red text. and twrp tells me there is no os installed, are you sure you want to continue? CAN SOMEONE PLEASE HELP ME WITH THIS! PLEASE PLEASE REPLY AS SOON AS POSSIBLE!

CM13 Boot loop when installing SuperSU

Hi everyone,
Anyone able to help out here trying to installer SuperSU but just end up with a boot loop of the CyanogenMod logo when installing SuperSU from app store or flashing via TWRP.
Yes I do know that CyanogenMod already has the root option that can be enable under developer options which I have tired but one of the apps I am trying to use needs SuperSU to work correctly.
So is there anyway to get CM13 working with SuperSU?
Flash SuperSU.zip
AFAIK, supersu does not work on CM13.
Really don't tell me that

If it's root you want, you can enable Developers option and in that you will find an option for root.

You need to reflash the ROM. Clean wipe is recommended.

ok ok, man don't get scared, its ok. so first of all, make sure you have around 20 to 30 percent battery. If not then charge the device a bit. Next, thing is switch off your device. Now boot to fastboot and flash the normal twrp recovery, v3.2.1-0 (i just installed the official rr 6 with this recovery) . Now press and hold power and volume up. This should bring up twrp. Voila! Flash the rom you wanted, however the backup you made by redwolf is now of no use.
But tbh, i never heard about this error, related to pirated apps. Can you get a screenshot for me?

You can "do" that. Even if it says "no os installed" just switch off. Then press and hold power and volume down. Device WILL boot to fastboot. Now install twrp via pc. Now press and hold power and vol up. You should be seeing the twrp screen.
Use this build instead: https://github.com/FFY00/rw_manifest/releases

that's the important part, I don't really know how much the t-mobile models differ from the H930 ones
but there should be fastboot ? download mode ? "factory reset" functionality (via button dance botting into TWRP) ?

You might have done what I did which is flash twrp.img in recovery.. it won't go back to initial password screen. I did that and had the same issues.. I recently did it.. now it only restores backups which is how I got lineage or other rooms back.. after wiping the system partition, it also only flashes stock debloated room, but anything else I flash crash system partition.. I'm going to start over but with treble recovery in root process and just avoid messing with it..

Did you restores the recovery as well? I did that which is suspect source of the problem number 2.. even flashing magisk crash my system partition.. but not the magisk in the stock room, probably cause it's built in.. or any restores.. either way I'm going to start over.. not touching recovery after root & not backing up recovery partition to confirm a few things.. can you flash debloated rom after formatting system partition? Aroma gapps don't work for me but other gapps does.. I found out the hard way cause I didn't see any information on it in the threads.. I read it's a common issue with TWRP recovery on multiple devices..

Did you not have a backup of your rom using twrp before you made the change? Isn't that the whole point of having twrp and a phone with SD card? Always backup your whole phone before making a change. It has saved my phone many times.

Yes I had a back up but it was twrp acting up by not being able to boot.
My phone was just booting back to twrp even when pressing power off some how by finally powering off the device (letting it discharge all the way) that was the only thing that fix it me twrp started working fine after that
My twrp has been acting funny/unpredictable. Or I am not doing something right. Mostly has to do with the restore function. I generally have two separate roms backed up in restore. But, lately, I will see only one listed. When I get back to the phone and check in my root manager, I will see them both listed. And then later, it (Rom) "might or might not" return to the restore function area.
But, lately it seems that when I restore the system, I can not open it up in the lock screen (does not recognize the pin). I have to turn the phone off, then use the vol down and power button to get back into twrp. Luckily, I have a couple of roms downloaded in the install section which then does let me flash and reboot, but I have to start new/over.
I don't know if reflashing twrp in recovery will help or not (have never done it).
I'm afraid one of these times I will some how get locked out or not be able to flash a good rom.

when it doesnt recognize your pin, go (in twrp file manager) to /data/system/ and delete the locksettings.db(-sh/-wal) files...
I think that was the path, you can google that too ^^
Thx, SGCMarkus, I did delete just the one db only file. It did away with the pin unlock code on reboot (but I did not do a restore, just a reboot back into my system), so I assume it will work. I will try it when I have time. I think that deletion has to be done everytime in twrp, because the line does reappear the next time I booted back into twrp?
Thx.
