I've already tried.
USB Debugging is already activated normally.
I click on "enable OEM unlocking" and asks me for the PIN number, I type correctly and a box appears with the message: "Allow OEM unlocking? Warning: Device protection features will not work on this device while this setting is turner on". So I click on "Enable", but nothing happens. The function remains off.

Same is the case with my h901 but I have figured out that my phone is refurbished. Software info page in settings shows h901 10c while lgup detects it as h900 10f. My phone also doesnt enter fastboot mode either by command or hardware method.
So i guess my phone is h900 instead of h901. And h900 cannot be bootloader unlocked. So that may be the reason that oem unlock and fastboot are unavailable.
You can also open its screws and see what model is written on the board.

There is no way for that. U have to open the screws. U just need to arrange the compatible screwdriver. And it will be worth it.

No "Enable OEM unlock" options in developer settings

Hey guys, I just tried to unlock my bootloader. I have obtained the unlock code and everything. I try to execute this command
Code:
fastboot oem unlock XXXX
, I always get stuck at
Code:
waiting for devices
1. I have updated my device drivers.
2. For some odd reason, the toggle for "Enable OEM unlock" is not present in the developer options.
3. Now, I have updated my KIW-L22 to B340 version recently. Maybe the toggle is removed in the recent update. Is there not any way to bring back that toggle so that I can unlock my bootloader?
Please guys, I need your help with this, if anyone has ever encountered this before, please tell me how to bring it back.

I had the same issue you don't need to toggle the option on marshmallow. The error looks like you need to do a sudo fastboot if your using linux.
The only other thing to remember is you need to remove the factory reset protection (frp) see here http://forum.xda-developers.com/honor-5x/help/unlock-bootloader-issues-kiw-t3411032

Just because that option is not available does not mean your bootloader is locked, plus you can unlock using ADB.
Just enable usb debug only

This option is not there in Marshmallow. not sure if there is still a way to unlock as this option itself is not there...try enabling USB debugging couple of times and see if it prompt you for authorisation. if it does, you can still do the required things.

I cant find mine either, but i have a suspicion that they just removed/edited the files to just have one state of locked and no controls or commands to unlock it.
Find out the file name and path for the "OEM unlock" setting in the developer options.
then search for it using the ADB, if the files aren't there then you might need to put the phone in to download mode and "sideload" the the full files back on to it.. if it's possible.
it might be more complicated than that. that's what i would've done as a Carrier if i wanted to keep modders and phone thieves out.
also on my Carrier phone when i put it into Download mode it seems to run like there own unlock before it does anything else, might need to run that first to unlock the lock so you can unlock it...
this is kind of a BS response, but at least it's an idea to look into. Sorry.
also you could try loading PDANet to see if the device will recognise.

To unlock the boot loader you need to have the ADT with all the packages installed and configured.
Later once the configuration is done properly then you can connect your device and enable USB Debugging under the options.
Download Modaco’s Superboot files and save them to your computer.
Once downloaded, extract it by right clicking and extract all.
On your phone, click on Settings > Developer Options > Turn USB Debugging On.
Plug the device in to your computer via USB cable.
Open the superboot folder that we just extracted (until you see the folder with fastboot-windows inside it), then hold the shift key down on your computer and right click any blank area.
Now, select open command window here.
In the command prompt, type the following with hitting enter at the end of each line.
adb-windows reboot bootloader (and wait for the device to reboot)
fastboot-windows oem unlock
(If it gets stuck at waiting for device here, download and install PDANet on your computer, once installed, unplug then plug the device back in and see if that fixes it)
Once it runs the device should display a screen asking you if you are sure. Click yes using the volume buttons. The device will go back to the bootloader screen but say unlocked at the bottom.

It's Ok,In Adb Write "adb enable oem unlocking"
I Learned That From A Video
Called:
"How To Unlock Bootloader-Huawei GR5 & Honor 5X EMUI 4.0"
From The Channel Called:"NoNDrOiD"

Should I panic? Phone status already "unlocked" when bought new.

I ordered a Redmi note 4 through Amazon India, came out alright, all properly sealed and everything but one thing caught my attention is that on developer settings the phone unlock status says it's already unlocked! How can this be possible?
That's weird. Did you call a customer service centre? If I'd receive such product my first though would be to confirm if the Mido I got is a refurbished one or 1st hand. And even if it's one, then the Xiaomi guys should have relocked it... Maybe it's a software bug, try restarting. And the ultimate way to confirm is to use your PC, and you know the rest I hope.
Well, if you feel you can replace it (maybe) talk to amazon guys and confirm if they cover such thing in their replacement policy. Good luck.

Maybe you have RN4x, it is default unlocked... You can check your box, if it is with chinese language you have 4x, if you have with english lang. it is RN4 Global version and it is locked default...
Edit: also check if it is Snapdragon 625 version or maybe it is MTK?

You have to check if the bootloader is really unlocked or not. For this download this zip - https://drive.google.com/open?id=13Sjej5zIJPm_yiJQOVR4rEocwbhDc9oh
Unzip in pc and inside the platfrom-tools folder hold shift and right click.
In the menu it should say, open command prompt here or open powershell here.
click on the provided item (whatever of both it shows)
now, boot your device in fastboot by switching it off and holding down the power and volume down. Once the fastboot mode is open, connect your device via cable to your pc.
Now if you opened a command prompt window then type in -
Code:
fastboot devices
This command will show the connected fastboot devices. If nothing is printed on screen on executing command, then try reconnecting.
then type -
Code:
fasboot oem device-info
But if you have powershell then type in
Code:
.\fastboot devices
and
Code:
.\fastboot oem device-info
This will return some data and now you have to check the first two parameters saying "device tampered" and "device unlocked".
If device unlocked says true, then that means someone had actually used the device before. and if device tampered says true, then definetly someone has tested out your device, by doing all kinds of stuff like installing roms etc.
Use the mi flasher and flash the most current xiaomi rom. Your rom is probably a vendor rom, which is bad.

Thanks for making it easy for me. ?
Sometimes sellers unlock bootloader to flash other roms version. It's usually on online selling where there is Chinese roms on devices and buyers want global version.
As allready ppl stated, check by adb fastboot to see if its really unlocked.

You should contact xiaomi for this. And the seller from which you bought it. Because 98% of companies aren't allowed to sell phones with unlocked bootloader. Just leave it as it is. Tampering it by yourself would mean that you yourself did something to phone, which u haven't (not much, what u did is ok) . So getting in touch with the company and the provider would be a better option.

Sonim xp5s XP5800 bootloader, firmware and unlock questions

Hi, all. Please help me with some issues. Have Sonim XP5s dualsim gsm phone ATT locked.
1 Bootloader. Trying to unlock it.
*#*#2387#*#* activated USB debug. Set OEM unlock, but bootloader locked. fastboot unlock, fastboot oem unlock, fastboot flashing unlock do nothing. How i can unlock it?
2 Firmware. Does anyone have image to flash with QFIL? I try to flash empty one but QFIL say timeout and take no action. EDL started but ignore all requests. Bootloader issue?
3 SIM2 activation. Phone disable second SIM at all. Need correct firmware?
4 ATT unlock. How i can do it, with correct firmware installed?
5 Root. Kingroot, kingoroot no success. Custom recovery not found. Flashing\booting custom recovery is locked.
Thanks.
bumpity-bump
I have the same phone that I just bought and (sheepishly) just found out has wi-fi calling disabled by AT&T. That was a main reason for getting it, but unfortunately I went by the Sonim website's info and not AT&T's regarding that feature. Verizon's version has it enabled, but it's also much scarcer on the secondary market. The XP5800 doesn't seem to be a popular phone for tinkering judging by the lack of info on doing so.
Does anyone know if wi-fi calling could hypothetically be activated by rooting and then toggling some values, or is it more likely that the involved code was omitted entirely? I saw something to the former about tethering.

Each Android can get rooted by means of SuperSU ZIP. Only requirement is to have successfully USB debugging option enabled in Android->Settings->Developer options. You install this ZIP via phone's stock recovery.
To access developer mode, google "developer mode sonim xp5s". Open article: kb.eschat.com "Open Developer Options Tab on Sonim XP5, XP5s or XP3...". The device will then open the Developer Options tab. Ensure the take bug report option is enabled, and that USB debugging is also enabled. You may also add a menu button to the Power tab for future access to this feature.
Be sure you use a clean SuperSU ZIP to avoid malware. Suggest getting one from the xda forum.
Hi. Is there any success with rooting or enabling second sim to working 2 sims together?

How i can do it? Stock recovery have no menu. /cache access denided from user. Putting update.zip do nothing without /cache/recovery/command. Did you know some trick to proceed install? ADB debugging enable, but no root rights there.

Not if the device is PIN locked and you don't know it, obviously .

You need to flash the phone in EDL mode. Take it to a service center or find online service which can do it remotely.
use this
fastboot oem edl

bootloop

Hi! I have a big problem. I have a Chinese version of the phone without google services. I tried to flash the firmware from the motorola and it worked, but since when the bootloader is unlocked, google pay does not work, I blocked it with the fastboot oem unlock command and that was a mistake. after which he broke.
I've tried recovery mode / factory mode in fastboot, but it still goes into bootloop.
I have downloaded the firmware, and have my 20-character alphanumeric code to unlock the device bootloader.
When I enter this code in ADB using fastboot oem unlock CODE it says 'Check 'Allow OEM Unlock' in Android Settings > Developer'.
But I can't Check 'Allow OEM Unlock' in Android settings as I can't boot the phone, and I never 'Checked it' when the phone was working properly.
Is there anyway to 'Allow OEM Unlock' while the phone is in fastboot mode, without being able to boot the phone properly?
Any attempt to flash the phone with native firmware or any other leads to the message "FAILED (remote failure)"
i'm tried different options with xda but nothing helps ... do I really have to throw the device in the trash ... it makes me very sad.
I can't believe that the manufacturer didn't come up with a normal recovery option.
I will be very grateful for your help.
What is the bootloader status? if it is Flashing_Locked, then its a high chance that isn't fixable, like my G6 Plus, i tried everything, but nothing appears to help. My phone is on the wardrobe, just waiting for some expert to come with a solution to this...

sadly, there isn't a known fix for flashing_locked, there is some people that had the luck to lock it on OEM_Locked and could reflash stock, but for Flashing_Locked you cant
there is 3 options now:
-Play dumb and get a replacement from motorola
-Wait for a fix
-Replace the motherboard

Is it really possible to wait for a fix? It seems to me that the motorola is not very worried about it.

there must be a way by using EDL or JTAG pins to unlock it since motorola doesn't want to share stock factory images to us. I don't think the solution is going to be available soon, so just try to play dumb with motorola and get a replacement...

Sadly mine is also no longer under warranty... About EDL, i don't mean blankflashing it, instead there must be a way to access the bootloader lock related partition directly from the EMMC then unlocking it...

I think that if this happens then the protection of all devices will be compromised and the manufacturer will definitely not want it. most likely the phone died forever

yea it was a bad call from my side... So i was doing a quick search here and i found something that can be useful
the Medusa JTAG Pro Box can skip the "permission" thing and flash the stock, but its kinda expensive in my country and i don't know anyone that has it...

gave the phone to a local service, maybe they have something similar. I'll tell you the result within two days
