I have a problem. When i Flash my KIW-L21 with another new ROM (Clean). And i try to reboot from TWRP to start the Phone again the Screen stay black and the phone dont start. If i try to start it, the phone is still dead.
Only if i wait if my battery goes low and complete empty than i can start my phone. I dont know why. I reinstall TWRP again. The problem occurs only partially not after each flash.
Anyone the same problem?

Ive flashed my x10 about 7 times this morning with different 1.6 and 2.1 FW this morning and still got the same problem.
It flashes ok but when i try to boot it up the backlight comes on and it goes into what looks like a boot loop as in the blacklight flickers at regular intervals and nothing appears on the screen.
Ive tried Bi4nys new 2.1 flasher and wiping the userdata but with no luck alwasy the same problem. Tried restoring with SEUS but still gets stuck in the loop on boot
Please help, any idea greatly received.

I decrypted my origianal Orange FW that come with the phone and flashed that with Bin4ys original flashing tool, waited for 5mins, removed battery for 1min and then it booted again, thank god!
I hope no one else has this problem because i seriously thought i had buggered something badly. It wasnt even charging, just black screen.

my x10 die suddenly, there was 94% battery left, not plugged out long, few hrs later notice phone was off,and it will not power on again, press power to try to turn it on all it does is vibrate and that's it.
tried to flash stock 2.1 back on but not sure if it did anything, took over night or flash tool to finish, still no boot after that, press power and it vibrates that's all, sometimes it doesn't even vibrate, battery is good, works fine in another x10, put a fully charge battery in it and same result.
anyone know what happened to it?
was running eternity 3a rooted with DT.
I'm going to have to send that in for warranty, hope they won't find anything on it and void the warranty.
Was the phone quite hot at the time or heating up when trying to boot?
Remove the battery for a minute or so and try flashing with SEUS.... Check if battery is hot

That usually does the trick. Unplug battery for 1 minute, reinsert it and try again.
That heating problem is present in X8 too... While tethering is enabled phone gets very hot and if you don't act phone will freeze...
do you have a SD card inside. Might be a bad SD card try taking it out and booting it. Happened to me before.

Hi, just wanted to jump in and ask a few questions about this situation.
Do you always experience this issue? How long before it freezes? What "act" are you doing to prevent freezing? Does the phone work normally afterwards?
Hope you can help me out with some answers, I want to look into this.

i have this restart problem..
Before this i try to fix my friend X10.. after many tries and a month acctually,i give up..
Now one more of my friend gave me another X10 which have the same problem..
Problem:
The phone will boot but after several minutes it will auto shut down and when i try to power up no vibrate and stuck at black screen.
when i pull the battery out and on again it vibrate and boot.just after boot animation it will shut down again..
Solution that i have tried so far:
Update with SEUS.
Send to profesional phone service to downgrade to 1.6.
Upgrade/flash with flash tool with GENERIC
Upgrade/flash with flash tool with X10_1.0_SE_StockRom_MultiTouch
Wipe user data in flash tool & x recovery
after several tries i got it work and i root and install x recovery.
Flash from xrecovery with custom rom Eternity.build003a.signed
format memory card.
Change battery.
All the solution i've tried doesn't make the problem dissappear.
anyone have ideas or solution?

Something weird just happened !
I installed this rom : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1704387 and was trying it. As I often do with many others.
Then I pressed the back button, and my phone didn't stop vibrating and froze. So I unpluged the battery cable, and the battery itself so I could shut it down. The phone was getting hot so I did this quite quickly.
Now I just can't turn it on. Nothing happens. I just have a battery icon when I plug the battery cable. But it doens't seem to be able to load the battery amout, and it shut it down by itself.
I mean that you can see it trying to load the battery, fail, and try again.
What is happening ? Is my phone bricked just because of this ? For no real reason ? Maybe it's due to a bad kernel ?

a) I can't boot in download mode nor recovery, nothing happens.
b) How can I flash a kernel if I can't boot ?

Ow, quick news. I waited 30 minutes.
Now when I pluged it again, it finally was able to load the battery state.
I can boot...
This MIUI version freaks me out !! I won't try to boot on it ever again ...
What caused this bug ? I seriously think I was loosing my phone ... I'm on DorimanX Kernel.

So, I'm here because I have a really big problem with my Samsung I9100.
Indeed, I will explain my problem. I installed the SENTINEL ROM 5.00 a few month ago, and I never had a problem before.
But yesterday, I don't know why, I have so much problem with my Network, (My friends haven't the same problem and we have the same operator, it's Orange)
So, I don't understood why I had this kind of problem. After a few minutes, my GS 2 shut down...
I tried to boot but It had no effect !! I fall in a reboot loop, whith no home screen.
After a panic I try so much solution :
Wipe Data, Wipe Cache, Wipe Dalvik Cache, reboot. Same problem ! Sometimes, I can access to the menu, but a few minute after, it shut down again.
I tried to restore an official firmware, no effect, He can't load, he is blocked with "Samsung animation boot".
I tried to restore with a ROM (Rootbox 3.91), no effect too, I can access temporary to my message, and after a few minutes, he shut down !
Sometimes, I just click in the home button (The only button), and it shut down !
I observed now, it can't book if I don't connect it to the alimentation's cable.
Really, I'm so lost, I understand nothing. Especially, I didn't do something special to make this...
If someone can help me...

Flash stock rom with Odin, re-root your phone & restore nandroid backup or reflash custom rom & start again from scratch.

Thanks, I will try this, but my sometimes, my USB port of my I9100 has so much problem with the connexion.
Could you give me a link for a stock rom please ?

It sounds like you would get into recovery-mode?
Do you have an ClockworkModRecovery?
Can you make a nandorid backup with the recovery?
Do you have an older Recovery you could restore without too much data-loss?
Is the battery ok? Can you start your Phone if you connect it with the charger? If yes I would recommand to backup as many iportant data as possible.
I'm running sentinelRom 5.0 too and I have no problems.

Hi Baerlinaer, thanks to answering me.
I had no problem with SentinelRom 5.0 since few month, but yesterday I don't know why, I have so much problem in the same time.
I can access to the recovery mod, and I restore my back up since the recovery mode. I tried to restore 3 differents ROM.
I don't know if the battery is OK cause in the screen, I have 100% but when I disconnect the alimentation's cable. It shut down ! And I can boot but after the first boot animation, It shut down !
I don't care about my data really, it's nice but I just wanna recover my phone with all his fonctionnality !
I alrealdy make a backup !
I am very lost cause I don't know why it do that :/
Can you start the phone withe the cable plugged in but without the battery?
Couse if you can, it is the Battery. I had such a Problem with a Laptop once. The Battery was broken and it rebootet after a few seconds or minutes. I tried everything, to recover it and then I took out the Battery and it run perfectly well.

I can't start the phone whith the cable plugged and whithout the battery. Nothing appeared in the screen.
Dude, are you sure we can start the phone whithout a battery and only with the cable plugged ?
Because now, It can't start...
Sorry, I could't test it untill now, I didn't had my Phone. No we can't do this.
Do you have another Battery for sgs2? Or a friend of yours? Then youcould test it. Otherwise you might try another ROM...

I was a custom rom 7.1.2 and tried to go back to stock downloaded latest stock firmware flashed all files except userdata and recovery
Then booted to twrp flashed fed patcher then tried to boot to system tablet had 2-3 bootloop and then it shuts down and. Since then nothing is working not even shows the charging screen
Tried everything not able to boot to bootloader
Tablet doesnt even start not even the screen
Please guys any opinions

Tried that but no luck kept on charging for like 2 hrs but nothing
It happened the same thing with mine, please let me know if you can find a way to fix it.
I think I figured out our problem, it's stuck on APX mode. But I'm a android dummie and I have no idea how to solve it :/
