Hi,
Long back I got the permission but was stuck at 50% problem.
I had issue with the audio jack an had to replace the motherboard. After getting my mobile after the service. Now my account get the above error message.

I was facing a similar issue. I used it for a couple of weeks like that, by using soundabout for changing audio output. I no longer face the issue. It's just.......gone.

NO. It has nothing related to hardware.
Since I'm getting the rejected status for my MI account, not the device.

I used to use the software too, but mine was hardware issue and hence soundabout failed and finally had to replace the mobo itself.

The topic's going off-topic. It was under warranty so no cost.
Please solve the original issue.

Okay, sorry. It normally takes like a week for Xiaomi to update the unlock permissions granted to us on Xiaomi servers. Also, you said it yourself that you got the permission long ago. I personally had a chat with one of Xiaomi's online help and they told me that the unlock permission lasts for a month before you gotta ask again. So, try re-applying for unlock permission, wait for a week after you get the permission, then unlock the device. Hope it helps and sorry for going off-topic, was just curious as to how much a new motherboard would cost.
Regards
PoseidonKing
I applied for unlock permission and xiaomi gave me it some months ago. Never tried to unlock bootloader. More than a month ago I tried to unlock but I saw the permission was retired and my application rejected. No way to reapply for unlock (the "1 month" is the time you need to wait between an unlocking and the next one). The only way I found is to write in the compliant/advice official forum section (en.Miui.com) and ask for manually unlock permission by the administrator. However even if my request was collected by a moderator for the administrator, no permission so far. And there are a lot of people in the same situation!

There's no button for reapplication.
It may cost around ₹8k.

I know, I know. Just click the unlock button again. Reapply means not literally 'reapply' it meant 'unlocking again'. Ask for permission again.

i re-apply unlock permission and after 2 days xiaomi send me message: my account can unlock bootloader and now my phone running mi-globe 7.2.9 hehe, goodluck
This happened to me too but I managed to get around it by making a second mi account and using that to get unlock permission.
Sucks that that seems to be the only way but at least it worked.

If your that impatient.....I would say send it back so that we don't have to hear you whine about this. Its their choice to make this happen....its just now the middle of the month......unlocking the bootloader process requires testing so that your prime does not brick..........Not to mention I believe they need to help out the other users that have issues with the device.
thank you for your reply, but I AM one of those user that is having issue, locked up, reboot, and sleep of death. I need the unlock so that I can downgrade to HC and back to a stable tablet.

Or:
1) you can return it
2) you can RMA it
3) you can be patient and let ASUS release a fix
It's possible that #3 might have happened today.
Of course you also could have searched and read about all of the above ... (hint: the rules are linked in my signature.)
I have been patient, I do not want option 1 and 2. I have waited for this tablet and not I am only able to user it for 5 min before another reboot after ICS. I plan to keep it but I do not want to wait months while my tablet sit and gather dust. I will check on option 3 to see if there is indeed an update.

return it, so i don't have to see your name on XDA anymore.
its always the ones who are not even developers that want to rush things. Just be patient. Good things come to those who wait. Ones trying to rush it would be the first ones to officially Brick the Prime then come back crying here for help.
Slow your roll Jabroni ;-)
I had a unit from Best Buy, take it back, have them OMS order you a new one and you will have a brand new tablet, likely without any defect by the end of the week. If you do still have software issues, your 14 day counter restarts with the new tablet so you have another 14 days before you have to worry about anything.
Seriously don't understand the sheer number of people willing to scour the forums all day trying to cry about how bad ASUS is when they can simply go get a replacement tablet ordered in less than 15 minutes.
I know you can do it, because I did it. Took my online ordered best buy tablet back to the store, they had it all taken care of and said I will have a new unit on Friday. If you could wait SOOOO long for the tablet, have a defective one, why can't you wait 4 friggin days to get a brand new one and reset your clock while you wait for ASUS to release a bootloader?
The people who won't do that are going to feel real dumb if it does end up being a hardware issue and they squandered away the opportunity to go and exchange at best buy/gamestop/wherever and find out that it will take weeks to RMA it to ASUS directly as opposed to days if not instantly at their local retailer.
Seriously dumbfounded.
OP - not meaning to take this all out on you, but more a general complaint about many posters here that are claiming the same as you. We have all been waiting for this tablet to release, many of us with issues, act like an adult and go get things taken care of.

What are you talking about?! It's been out for awhile now. You must not have seen the thread. To get the unlock tool you need to unregister from XDA for a full month. Don't re-register and log back in or you'll have to start over. Asus will contact you shortly to let you know where to go and pick up your zip drive with the unlock tool on it. Just wait, they know who you are and will call soon.....

Do you actually know what the unlock tool will do?
Let them fix the reboots and unknown serial issues first.
Sounds like you need to send it in and get an iphad.
If you unlock the bootloader, your warranty will be void.. so if going back to HC doesn't fix your problems, you'll be SOL..
May as well be patient.. *****ing won't make it come any faster.

Interesting, seeing as I also have a new phone I just received from Sprint. Can anyone confirm that the unlock_token.bin I already have will work on my replacement? I'd do it myself but I am unable to currently. Also, does this mean HTC wouldn't know you were rooted, seeing as you didn't unlock through the site?
Thanks guys

Yeah - I am like -c'mon avaliability?!
I am a network admin and it is INCREDIBLE how long they can keep this site down and getting away with it.
We have contracts that state data availability on similar high-visited websites within 12 hours at any costs (if it is a software error which I assume is the case we usually provide "back to online" state within 2-3 hours). 12 hours is basically if the "house burns down". So I guess HTC burned down...

Yup, though the "funny" thing is that even it's giving me very many kind of errors (mostly that they are under maintenance, try again later), I have now exceeded my limit hehe.
Error Code: 300.
Error Reason: Request for unlock exceed limit.
Tried to send Htcdev a tweet on Twitter and see if I can get any response from them there.

And I would advice so aswell ;-) Hmm.. now.. whom to contact. Bah, will give it a shot tomorrow, hopefully it is a timelimit on this.
Well I have two evo3ds to root today so hopefully there back and running cause i have an appointment at 6pm and that's 5 hours away. HTC is screwing with my business. I make 25 every time I root a phone add ten for flashing roms. Now I'm out 70 bucks if they're not back up in five hours.
If they come back on for anyone will you post here so I know if its worth the drive to go pick up the phones to root.
Gotta say I'm happy with my boot 1.40
Down since last night
I started trying to unlock my shiny rezound Friday 7pm est. Received the same message. Sux.
Got a new note for warranty exchange yesterday. I want to revert the old one I am sending back to bone stock including the clockwork mod recovery and the counter. The usb port stopped working. It is stock rooted ics. How do I flash a stop recovery/ Is there a way to do this? If it is posted already I haven't found it yet.
Thanks,

Hmm... lets see ... they can deny warranty and charge me $599.
This was a lot of help.
Thanks,
Without the working USB port I don't think it ALL can be done. If you did a NAND backup of your stock ROM like you should have then restore it first. Put all that ATT bloat back on there. If not stick with what you have and do a factory reset. Then install the counter reset using CWM. And the best you can do is keep your fingers crossed that they do not catch the custom recovery.
And don't forget to change your radio/baseband/modem back to the one that matches the ROM if you have changed it.
You can use a terminal emulator to push the stock recovery back in and delete su and busybox, Then reboot and it will be unrooted.

This is a forum of users ranging from complete noob to Jedi master, but its not on demand customer service.
The process usually works fine if you give it enough time.
You got a good suggestion from studacris, and if there's any further questions just come back.

Sir, you opened the thread looking for assistance, correct? Although you may not agree with some of the ideas/thoughts, you can try your method and see if it works. But the least you can do is thx these individuals, that are providing for your post...instead the sarcastic remark. Maybe you didn't meant it that way? But my honest thought was "this guy has a hardware issue that has absolutely nothing to do with rom customization. Its already stock. So at&t won't care about root. Just put it in the bag and send it."
Anyway, good luck and I hope your new phone works out better.
Yes you are right. As you can see by my posts I was only addressing rangercaptain by the 'helpful' comment and no one else. I appreciate any and all useful suggestions.
I am not worried about fees or anything else. I just don't want to pay them If I don't have to. I simply asked for help and rangercaptain makes a useless suggestion so I made a comment about that. Not about anything else.

Given that ZTE have suggested that they will provide the ability to unlock the boot-loader at some point after release and that the link you direct people to at sadroid.com (why the link obfuscation by the way?) looks fishy enough to make the dodgy customers at kingroot/kingoroot look like fine upstanding members of the community, I'd advise that people not touch this with a forty foot barge pole.
fake, just look at the "screenshots"

Copied link from google, sorry if it looked like I was trying to obfuscate the link...
Tried it out but the poot.apk doesn't install, comes up with a parsing file error...

Did someone from ZTE actually confirm this or was it just one of their community members?

Confirm what? If you're asking about the bootloader, they said they are in talks with R&D about how to best do it, and that it's a more a question of "when" than "if". Of course, all details are unknown.

I think that it came up briefly during the last webinar, they mentioned the large amount of support on the forums for an unlockable boot-loader and said that while it wouldn't be unlockable at release that the ability to unlock it at some stage was more "when" than "if". If they keep to the monthly update schedule they indicated that they would like to maintain then a month or two after release seems most likely.

Exactly my point. Can't believe OP is this naive.
I'll be getting one of these guys next week, `fastboot oem unlock` should be enough?

Wholy ****, pan is the worst thing I've ever had to deal with 'curl: (18) transfer closed with 2503068826 bytes remaining to read' do you have a copy on you? I'm only interested in emmc_appsboot.mbn

Off topic here, but what icons are you using? Those look really nice!
I still don't know why we can't get untethered twrp?
The Asus zenfone did this, it just booted into twrp and you could root your device... You couldn't install custom roms or keep twrp for any longer than when you rebooted but it did indeed allow us to root the Zenfone 2 (ZE551ML) pretty neatly.
No bootloader unlock required...

You can download from the Zenfone forums - http://forum.xda-developers.com/zenfone2/development/alpha-tethered-twrp-asus-zenfone-2-t3123532
However I don't know if it will brick the Axon 7 as it was made for the zenfone 2 and that may be different to the Axon 7 with partition setups and so on...
Not willing to try with my phone as I need it working when I want to call someone, not when I want to keep a piece of paper from blowing off my desk ...

If you click the third button and go to the forum post about the update, you can just get the direct Baidu link without having to login.
Hello, I just don't know what happened, but I just got banned from xiaomi.eu. Oh no! What have I done? When I checked, It said this:
Oops! We ran into some problems. You have been banned for the following reason: Spam. Please contact the administrator if this was done in error..
It was because of spam. I didn't do anything bot related. My account is real. No spam there whatsoever.
I didn't do anything bad. How did they tell me that my account is spam? I also contacted them about my ban, and I will wait for response soon. So stay tuned for that.
Okay, what was I thinking? Ok, well, I even tried to sign out, but it didn't do anything. Literally anything. Just that same loop over AND over again.
So, is there a way to sign out of my banned xiaomi.eu account? That is not good for me. I am so tired of this. Please, help me. My banned account name is serbanxk.
Okay?
Thank you!
R.I.P. serbanxk (xiaomi.eu), 2022-2023

R.I.P you all, lol. Getting your Xiaomi account banned is a good way to say goodbye to legitimately unlocking bootloaders of Xiaomi phones in general, lol.
