Just wonderig what settings can be used to get the audio from my BD's to play correctly in stock video player.
Ive tried Serenity and I Am Legend. I tried AAC(faac and other one), AC3 (pass thru and ff*something), MP3(lame), even DTS. tried stero, dolby surround, pro logic II, various sample and bit rates.
No matter which combinations i used i either got no audio or audio that was out of sync...behind about 2/3 seconds maybe.
Anyone know of an audio settings that will allow stick player to play audio without issue.
*Dice player played some of these fine, others with lagged audio....but i would like these to play stock player.
Thanks

Personally,I've never had much luck with the stock video player.Mobo Player has a free version from the market and will play just about anything using the soft decoding setting from within the app.
Unfortunately I can't offer any advice using HB, I do all of my conversion/transcoding using mplayer/mencoder. I would think that any standard mp3 bitrate would work. You may need to lower the video quality a bit too in order for your phone to have enough CPU to keep things in sync. That is assuming it's in sync when you test playing on a computer with something like VLC...
If you'd like, I'll check the rates of some files at home this evening and let you know what rates I have for them.
As far as playing the files on your phone, the best app I've found is MXPlayer. Well, and XBMC to play from my DLNA server over the network
Mxplayer and esfile to stream over the network

Ok so I'm on HyperDrive RLS10 and installed the ViPER4Android FX audio mod and installed the driver for my phone. Set up the settings and all that mumbo jumbo. When using Play Music (haven't tried others as of RLS10) and when I used other players (before RLS10 so it's still doing the same thing) I sometimes have to click a song multiple times before the V4A effects would kick in and would have to do the same for another song. I even used the Force Enable V4A setting and I'm using the earbuds that came with my phone.
[UPDATE] Tried out JetAudio Music Player and it works fine for that but nit for Google Play Music.

Did you every solve this issue with Google Play Music? I know this is an old post, but I'm having the same issue. I can pause the song and tap play... then then it will work for a whole 30 seconds. I uninstalled Viper4Android, reinstalled it, and rebooted. I chose the "Force FX" option and even set it as default in Settings>Sound.
If you read this and/or fixed the issue... what did you do?
Ever since updating to CM11, the equalizer (from Google play, the popular one), doesn't work. I tried built in dsp manager, but it only works on YouTube (I use powerAMP for music, and it's built in EQ works fine).
Anybody have any idea why mx or equalizer hasn't been updated to be compatible yet?
Thanks
I like how reverb sounds on audio FX tool present in Lineage OS. Is there a way to install audio FX on stock unrooted MIUI?
I have tried installing audio fx but it crashes. Is there another app which does the same thing? I don't want player with this setting because I stream music.
Has anyone used any good modules or APK's to improve/increase the audio? If i watch any media i use VLC player as i increase it to 150% but if i am using other apps like Youtube it is a bit on the quiet side. I have just installed Viper4Android FX but not sure how to tweak the settings correctly.
