I am waiting too for this incredible phone but will come in France only in 2012 with ICS
I have been using the RAZR with the lapdock for a while running ics. I'm going to order the padfone dock and test our device for compatibility. videos showing the Ports during unboxing have the same augment, but a power port may need modification.maybe it will work without that. perhaps someone could develop drivers if it isn't natively supported. What do you think?

On padfone are 3 connectors : micro hdmi, micro USB and another one connectors
You should watch unboxing all components on Droid-life.com

Sorry to bring this thread back from the dead, but I wanted to know if this actually worked?
I see it's just USB and HDMI, but I have my doubts that the touch screen in the padfone dock would work on the Razr's operating system..? Would it need a driver? And would that driver be embedded in the Padfone's OS?

I've found something called transpad or that goes with transphone, but they talk about a universal transpad with an adaptator.

Hi guys,
I'm thinking of buying this tablet (or maybe Z2, as soon as It rolls out) but I'm afraid of getting a device with a not unlockable bootloader. I'd have a no-brand one. Is there the possibility that the bootloader is locked on my new tablet without the possibility of unlocking It? I read somewhere that carriers can request sony to unlock the bootloaders of the devices they sell (but, as I said, I'd have a no brand one).
In short, what does getting a not unlockable bootloader depend on?
Thanks a lot
Antonio

I think sony themselves should unlock the bootloaders, kinda like htc does. My old Xperia tablet s had unlocked bootloader when they bought it back from me, so they should get the point. but OMG can't wait to buy tablet z2! You think it will be available for purchase after mwc?
Too bad the bezel is soooo obnoxiously ugly. lol

Bou I've read in this forum of threads like "FOR UNLOCKED BOOTLOADERS ONLY" and about a method to see If your bootloader is unlockable (something like #7#blablabla*. This is a real pain in the ass. Is there a way to know that Sony's criteria are to make bootloader non unlockable?
I haven't looked at Z2 yet, but I will soon. Anyway, no, I don't think It'll be available immediately after the MWC I expect It for May/June

Generally all Xperia devices bought unlocked (not from any carrier) are able to be bootloader unlocked. Some carriers block that, but not all of them.
To check, follow the tutorial: http://www.xperiablog.net/2013/06/20/xperia-tablet-z-how-to-access-the-service-menu/
At the menu, go to Service Info, then Configuration and check that.

Thank you. So if I'm buying no brand my bootloader should be unlockable as far as I understand. Is that right?

Thank you. Samsung isn't doing the same apparently, so I had to give away my Note 3. Anyway as far as I understand there will be no 32Gb+LTE version of Xperia Tablet Z2, right? Sorry if I speak about that here but I don't think there's an apposite section on this forum.

There actually is a thread for that here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2651363
But, I can answer you: I am pretty sure there is going to be an LTE, but I can't say for certain if there will be a 32 Gb + LTE version, though...

Do you think this will be implemented on Tablet Z2 too?

Now all I need to know is whether I can connect my Apple Keyboard and mouse to the tablet and I'm done. If I can, I'm off to Japan to get a Z2 tablet directly from Kazuro Hirai himself

Hi guys, anyone have the Moto Display apps + the supporting APK's from 5.0?
I am going to try to get them working on the Nexus 6. If it ends up a waste of my time then fine, but I want to try.
This is what I want most! Nexus 6 should have just been a Moto X Plus or something.
+1 for this as well. It's worth a shot.
Both are Moto devices. The variable being hardware.

Once we get (hopefully we will) i am more than willing to help get it working. We can probably just get the system dump from 5.0 moto x 2014 and go from there.

My apologies, I went from where he posted in the force thread with the same thing, thought I was still on that one. Either way I am not finding anything saying non Verizon variants have the update yet
That is insane. Why in the world would motorola snub a majority of their international and unlocked customers for verizon? They are the same device. Shady business practices. Never thought I would say that about Motorola.
im using vzw moto z on tmobile. got 3 ota downloaded within 3 days of usage. first 2 were security updates and 3rd on is android N os which im heisting to install it after reading all the wifi, bluetooth, battery issues with the N OS
