hi friends i got this firmware and download it however this frimware is for moto g4 plus but i tired from searching the whole internet for moto g4 rom version NPJ25.93-14. but after download it and flash it using mfastboot, my phone relock and its stable state its normally works however i afraid of from this rom because it can be soft brick my device due to it is for Moto G4 Plus XT1640-43.
But for me it works like a charm and here is the information regarding my phone
Moto G4 INDIAN version XT1624. ATHENE
software version when i unlock the bootloader was NPJ25.93-14. (full rom of this version is rare at till date 08-02-2017)
links are
for rom : https://drive.google.com/file/d/0Bx6eXSiwEdFFWXZyYjB5S0xlZWs/view
use mfastboot for this google it u can find it easily.
motorola drivers - easily found at google, just show your google skills.
i was at high risk of soft-brick because this rom is not for Moto G4, but i got what i want so its on your own will to do flash this rom. if you really want your device at original state however everyone says that warranty is voided when we got unlock code, but however if anyone wants relock the bootloader and specially has latest naughat update as in my phone NPJ25.93-14 then flash it in your own risk and will also. i am not responsible for any damage. for secure the phone please download marshmallow rom or naghat rom easily available on internet. if anything wrong happened then downgrade your phone. may be it will save your phone.
i think my post help someone who is in trouble.
Bro,im also using moto g4 Indian version xt1624.. the device is on soak test of nougat update..im not getting official OTA..pls do help me..how to get back to marshmallow wid suitable rom for this phone version.. XT1624..!! M not finding suitable stock rom for this..pls do reply

Hello,
I was thinking of following the Dexteroid guide to flash my Telus Moto E 2015 to android 5.1 as I would like the additional performance as I have no idea when Telus will get around to authorizing the 5.1 OTA update.
Before I go through the hassle of rooting and unlocking the boot loader (which correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe I have to go both those things to get the stock 5.1), I was just wondering if anyone has tried flashing the retail US firmware to a Canadian phone and if they have experienced any issues. The hardware SKU on my phone is XT1527.
Thanks!
I am scouting the custom rom threads to see of anyone has managed any of the above.

I flashed the 5.1 stock image WITHOUT FLASHING THE MODEM using fastboot, on Wind Mobile XT1527. No issues to report, if you want a boot logo without the unlocked warning, may I suggest flashing this?
Hi all,
I have seen a good offer for a branded G5 from an European carrier and I was wondering if there is any known way yet to de-brand it, in order to free it from the bloatware that I suppose it will be packed with.
If not, do you think normally this would be possible within some months from release, or were there already cases in the pase where this wasn't possible ever?
Thank you very much.
Derp
Accepted... I wrote a bit careless and I can see how the request was kinda funny.
Let me reformulate... In case I find the branding too disturbing and I want to flash a stock unbranded image (which I believe is possible for European H850 even if branded by carrier, right??) then I will miss OTA and maybe won't even be able to sideload OTAs like I used to with Nexus 5?

If you remove the original firmware flashing a different one you will lose OTA, but it seems that on G4 is possibile to receive update through LG Bridge (but i'm not sure), obviously the update you will receive will always been related to your brand.
Sideload as far as i know is not possibile on LG devices, because the Stock Recovery is made for Hard Reset only.
For now it's not possible to flash firmware on the G5, but some users are working both on LGUp and Flashtool 2.0.1.6 Here

OK thanks!
I would not see the point of providing a way to unlock the bootloader from LG itself even, if then you don't give people the possibility to flash something else on it, or maybe I'm missing the point of unlocking bootloader.
(talking about Italian Vodafone or Tim btw)

With the official bootloader unlock you lose the warranty, and there is no way to recover it, by flashing a no-brand firmware on al lg device the warranty remain (exception made for us carriers maybe).
Note that with an unlocked bootloader you can flash many things (roms, kernel, mods, xposed ecc...), with LGUp or Flashtool you can only flash official lg firmware.
So, LG provides an official bootloader unlock so the users can use their smartphone's full potential, but doesn't allow to flash official firmware because there is the smartphone update center for otas, and LG Bridge fo recovering and flash the whole firmware update, and not only the ota.
Hi, I have the US version of the Moto E (XT1527). I installed Android 7 on it, and it's just too unstable and I need to re-install the original ROM.
Unfortunately, I didn't back it up, so I need to find the original/stock ROM that came with the phone.
I found the XT1527 section on the firware.center website, but I'm not sure which one to choose...there are like 30 ones to choose from.
Does anyone know which ROM would work for my phone?
My phone IS unlocked...and I think it has an AT&T sim, but I'm not sure.
Thanks!
Hey guys, i've come across some bugs while installing the RMX1921EX_11_C.02 version from the Indian site to my phone and i would like some clarifications or help if someone faced those and overcame them.
- To begin with let me start by saying that I bought a global Realme XT with the firmware being RMX1921EX_11_A.05.
- I then managed to brick cyclops the device by trying to install RMX1921EX_11_A.10. Phone wouldn't boot, stuck on the Realme black/white logo.
- I managed to install RMX1921EX_11_A.06 through recovery and sd card.
- Then I downloaded from the Indian support site and installed through file manager the version RMX1921EX_11_C.02.
Now, on this version everything seems to work ok minus some bugs:
- Phone gets a bit laggy sometimes
- Brightness in automatic mode is not working
- Software update through settings won't work. Crashes a while after opening
- Battery life seems affected, won't last anyway near to what it was on RMX1921EX_11_A.05
So my question is, has anyone experienced any of those and found a solution to the bugs?
Also, is there anyway to obtain and roll back to the original stock rom RMX1921EX_11_A.05 from the beginning and then wait for the official OTA update?
Thank you in advance
Are you sure your phone firmware is RMX1921EX_11_A.05. (India version) not RMX1921EUEX (global version)?
If your firmware is India version, you should be able to unlock the bootloader and install twrp.

Yes, absolutely sure but im confused as RMX1921EX_11_A.05. is supposed to India version which my phone had but then the place i bought it was advertised as the global version and also i didn't receive the official ota update through the phone's update settings (and supposedly having the indian version). Seriously, realme's firmware naming and distribution is so confusing and impractical. but let's say i indee have the indian version, what does unlocking the bootloader and installing twrp mean? how will that help me and are there any cons into doing that? Thanks man
unlock the bootloader you can root the phone

My XT is was some as the global version. But from what I'm reading this says I'm using the Indian version? But I have NFC. This is so confusing. Bought this phone thinking I could unlock and root.
This confusing but normal. I bought two EU phones with NFC. One for me and one for my girlfriend. She is still on RMX1921EX_11_A.05.
I updatet my Phone to A.06 and when i look in phonedetails is called RMX1921EX_11_A.06.
I read that A.05 can be unlocked in the other thread. I would test this by myself, but yeah i don't want drama with my girlsfriends phone.
So i don't touch it

India version comes with no NFC. You can try Depth test apk , it won't hurt your phone even you pass it. Let us know if your global version can pass it or not.
