TWRP Gand 2 g7102
sir i installed TWRP Custom at my andriod rooted mobile. after suscful flashing twrp on Samsung Galaxy Grand 2 SM-G7102 Kitkat 4.4.2 by odin the twrp recovery mode And andriod mobile own recovery mode not showing direct show downloading mode, i am try the volume Up, power , And Home keys for recory mode but not show recovery mode.
please sir help me

pre rooted firmware made by chitgardh in the latter post
I managed to port root files for Galaxy STAR duos GT-S5282 and GT-S5280.
Currently I am not having this phone nor did i have used.
So I cant check and verify this.
I need testers
But I have successfully rooted my device ace duos in the similar way.
So , those who want to root their device , go ahead and enjoy.
Note - I am not responsible for any damage , brick , etc to your device - it is only for person who have done this earlier
and who are curious to play with their phone. Rooting voids WARRANTY but U can always Unroot
Before you can root, make
sure you do all of the
following:
USB Debugging needs to be enabled on your Grand Duos. To do this you will need to go to Settings ,
then Applications ,
then Development ,
and then finally USB
debugging. Check the
box next to USB
Debugging .
Download the following files
"KEEP IN SD CARD DIRECTLY NOT IN ANY FOLDER"
- reboot ur device in recovery mode.. HOW?
HOLD - VOLUME UP + HOME BUTTON + POWER BUTTON
Till u get in the recovery mode.
then using The VOLUME BUTTON scroll "up-down"
select - apply update.zip from sd card
scroll down using volume down - select downloaded file
select - YES
And done ur phone is rooted!!
Reboot ur phone.
Report if this this not working

Axit download the firmware at sammobile like Freitaz told and search for how to flash original firmware with ODIN3. It is a very easy process, If u need help call me.
Its been posting here both how-to and firmware download on android general section
Or you can just flash stock recovery that will do the trick without loosing you data

Bro are you using a SM-G7105 Grand 2 LTE variant? The roms of SM-G7102 does not compatible with SM-G7105 one, so don't try to install them on your device
there are few Rom for SM-G7105, and you need a custom recovery (like CWM, TWRP) to install them

I got into bigger problem. I tried to custom flash my Telefon with the suitable flash from Evo above and its reaching 35 procent and it go back to recovery mode
Iam not getting the installing picture where u have to select language etc
My Telefon got rooted and cwm 6.051
I wiped factory reset and cache and the last one don't remeber name
I used evo for Samsung grand 2 g7105 and now Telefon stuck on the first picture when turn on samsung grand g7105 and doesn't move further
Any one can help with some ideas how to get life to Telefon

Then flash CWM Recovery
Go into recovery, flash super su zip
Wipe data, cache and system
Flash Evo-A5 again
Make sure you doesn't flash Evo-5 cuz it is not Evo-A5 rom and not same installation procedures )

Hi Bro have you performed Factory setting or Wipe Data in custom recovery? If you haven't wiped data, it will stuck at booting screen

Recovery for j5 mobile is better to go with twrp recovery.
here i have attached both odin and recovery twrp for j500f mobile.just download both file and copy to ur pc.
unlock oem in ur mobile developer options.
then extract odin and run as adminstrator.
in ap select that recovery file afterwards put ur mobile in download mode and start.afterwards it will reboot then again turnoff ur phone and press (power off+middle button+volume up) button together.
Then u ll get twrp...nd enjoy bro

Yeah i have seen lot's of thread is here.actually in few days i have seen most of them have problem with getting recovery that's y i made this new thread to help them.if its crossing the policy of xda threads then u can close it.thnk u for ur feedback.
