Hey,
I am currently on radon kernel, ressurection remix. I want to revert to stock kernel, but I don't want to flash MIUI again. I know that I can make a TWRP backup but I'm too lazy to do all this.
Does the boot partition contain the kernel? So I could have backed it up from TWRP.?
Thanks.

Hi guys,
I just wanna ask, when on a custom rom will it be safe to flash any stock rom (2.3.x or 4.0.x) with a custom kernel?
Will I have to flash the stock kernel too with the rom?
I have never tried but I think it's absolutely fine to do it. Go ahead and give it a try.
I have been using blu_sp★rk onyx kernel for quite some time and wanted to go back to my stock kernel. So I used Flashify and restore my stock kernel.
The thing is once back to stock kernel, my WIFI doesn't turn on. Any idea how to get it working again? Do I need to re-flash my stock ROM then flash the stock kernel again?
Also, anyone have other suggestion for kernel with good battery performance?
I had the same problem a couple of times, you have to flash all the ota files via twrp or stock recovery
U use f2fs ??if yes tht make ur wifi dosnt turn on bcoz stock kernel dsnt support f2fs

Also, as of right now, blu spark is the only custom kernel available for the OPX. in addition, its only compatible stock rom at the moment.

Thanks for the response guys. Good thing I did backup all the stock rom and kernel via twrp. I'll give it a go during weekends. Still loving the blu spark kernel, re-flashing the ROM doesn't remove all my data right? Also, is that the [X]system for ROM? I know [X]boot is the kernel.. under restore/backup in twrp.
hey guys.
i just flashed blu sparks kernel over Nougat Rom 7.0 on my nexus 5.
i've already did a backup to my stock Rom 6.0.1 via TWRP.
i want to restore to stock,
i'm wondering if i can just restore the backup via TWRP or do i have to Fatsboot system.img?
since i'm familiar with flashing and Doing Commands
Hi, I have installed Radon kernel over Xiaomi.eu 7.5.11 but I want to back to Stock Kernel. I haven't backup.
If I flash Xiaomi.eu again without wipes, should works or I could have any issue?

There should be no issues. Wipe Dalvik/Cache after flashing the ROM just in case. All your data will stay untouched
Hello guys, I'm on custom AEX treble build with Franco kernel.
My question is: can I flash other custom ROMs over custom kernel or will I have to go back stock kernel before flashing other treble build?

I am going to assume that you are going to do a clean flash/factory reset (deleting apps and their data). When you flash a rom it flashes a kernel so custom kernel is gone.
Although you didn't ask I will state it anyways. If you are trying different custom kernels you need to flash back to the roms original kernel before flashing a new kernel.

There are no Android 10 Kernel threads that I could find, so i want to know if there are any kernels for Android 10 (Currently using the Bliss ROM) that have the Wireguard kernel module ?

Thanks, the kernel module option is now available in the Wireguard app, but unfortunately is not working - when i click to enable it it tries but does not work. So if you encounter another kernel that supports it in the future, please post the link here.

Try this
Elindir kernel
https://github.com/androbada525/Eli...4/Elindir-v4-60Hz-kenzo-22032020-05.47.08.zip
Note:
Never flash custom kernel over another custom kernel.
Always dirty flash the current rom zip first .
before flashing this kernel. Dirty flash ur current rom zip To restore stock kernel.
Then flash this kernel and wipe cachedalvik.
Thank you! Will try next week (tried the v4 Elindir with no success but did it over another custom kernel, so need to try again over stock ROMs) since before i was trying different kernels i did a nandroid backup, flashed a kernel, then restored the nandroid backup. After restoring a nandroid backup i got a bootloop and had to return to an Android 9 backup., and i am not in the mood to set up my phone again this weekend. Your way (dirty flashing of rom to get old kernel back) sounds much faster heh.
BTW: Is the nandroid backup not working a specific ROM issue (Bliss) or does it happen with all Android 10 ROMS ? I have the latest 3.3.1 official TWRP.

Stay on android 9 . 10 roms got issues with flashing procedure.
To flash Most of the 10 roms u need to strictly follow
Wipe all, format data, reboot to recovery again , install rom and gapps. Only then 10 will boot.
Even before restoring nandroid u need to do format data command.
They say its happens coz of broken installation script on 10.
Android 9 flashing instruction is very simple.
Factory reset
Install rom and gapps
Reboot.
Now encryption on 10 is fixed in latest havoc, syberia.
I m waiting for bliss to fix it.

Or you can just backup the existing boot.img and reflash if needed? No? Also there's this twrp flashable module by AnggaSync which cleans the boot.img for flashing a kernel.
