bootloop after accidently deliting the build.prop - LG G2 Mini

i guess it can be fixed without wiping and reflashing ? is yes please how
i kept the original i re-copied it to /system but still stucked on bootloop (lg logo) i don't know where i messed up is it the permission i didn't set right or what ? (i still can access recovery and through there i used the command prompt to copy the original build.prop ot its place but no luck ) so any ideas i don't want to reflash the whole system please

The permissions should be 644.

Do you have a backup in recovery?
If not, try to capture a logcat via adb during the bootloop.

[Q] bought and bricked galaxy ace please help

I rooted my phone successfully and was installing fonts from fontchanger app from the market. When the download was 95 % I got error samsung home has crashed and home screen was gone.
I removed battery put it again and restarted the phone but it is stuck at GALAXY Ace GT-S5830 SAMSUNG.
I am able to boot into system recovery mode but after factory reset phone still stucks at above mentioned point. Is it hard bricked and not recoverable ? Please please tell me the solution. This is my first android phone (
I hope I posted this in the right subforum.
Your device is not bricked. You said that you are able to boot into recovery, so all you need to do is flash a new rom.
How to flash it ? Where can I get new rom ?
See here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1263292.
so i copy rom.zip to sd card, boot into recovery and select update from sdcard.. thats it ? I didnot install clockward recovery. Please reply.

Nandroid. If you have ClockworkMod installed, then you can perform a nandroid backup of your device. It creates a backup of your entire system and data which you can then later restore (just that it won't be in one file as you described; they will be a the same folder as separate img files e.g data.img, system.img, etc.). If your device is in a bootloop for example, you can simply boot into recovery and restore a previous backup and your device will be fine again.

Boot Animation Problem

So... i've tried to change my boot animation today but it didn't work out.
I was following an wrong tutorial and turns out that i deleted the bootanimation file in the system/bin folder intead of overwrite the bootanimation file in system/media(that i have an backup).
When i turn on the device after the logo of Sony Ericsson i doesn't show the bootanimation, the screen stays black.

Yes you can change...but for changing OPEN zip..not extract. Open with winrar or 7zip and replace bootanimation.zip with any other bootanimation.

You also need to install clockworkmod recovery.
Press volume - key repeatedly when you see sony ericsson boot logo after installing CWM.After installing cwm just boot in recovery mode,go to install from zip and select this and install.BUT just in case before doing this make a backup oh whole os with cwm using backup.

For recovery you must install proper recovery or kernel.
Booting....restart, and when phone booting up, then continuously press volume down...when recovery showing up.

Ok guys, it "worked"
I mean, i did install the CMW and applied teh update.zip
But, the same problem continues, after the boot logo it shows a black screen in the place where it suppose to be the boot animation.
I believe it's because i erased that bootanimation file in system/bin...
Now what?

You could try a Fix Permissions option. What recovery are you using?
Or if you have a Nand backup why not just restore it?

If you have cwm recovery you can fix permissions from cwm.
If you have stock recovery try to flash cwm recovery....or you can flash rom again...and rooting.
TWRP has a Fix Permissions option as well.

Tried the custom recovery. It did not work. After installing it via ODIN I tried to boot into recovery but the phone never goes into recovery but just reboots.
I installed the stock recovery via ODIN and it works properly.

As much as I flash via ODIN, CWM, TWRP, etc., I have never used ADB for anything. I will download Android SDK package and get going figuring it out. Bear with me a little while. I'll get back to you. Again, thanks for all your help.
I've tried both ADB and terminal emulator and could not figure out how to pull recovery.fstab. Basically, I cannot find the file. I had to admit, I am a novice when it comes down to ADB and terminal emulator even after the searching and reading about both. I got ADB installed, and it is recognizing my device. I was also able to execute commands but I can't find the file to pull. Am I missing something?

Unable to install CWM on my GT-I9200
Hi Sarath,
I was able to root the phone but was never successful in installing the CWM on my GT-I9200 (India). I get only those 2 red lines when I try to get into CWM but normally everything works fine and no RED lines when booting. Please try to get the CWM working for this phone.
If the phone is stuck without booting or anything happens to the stock ROM then without CWM nothing can be done except taking the Phone to the Service center which is a Pain.
Thank you for working on this....Really appreciate all your work...
i need recovery.fstab.

[Q] Bootloop after pushing build.prop! HELP!

Hi. I have pushed build.prop to my phone after editing it. When the CMD told me
HTML:
[100%] build.prop was pushed
I rebooted the phone. Now, I am stuck at the LG logo. I tried to remove the battery for 30 seconds but nothing. My device: LG D120 (or l30 Sporty). Thank you in advance.
Reflash firmware (stock) or Try factory reset.

I did a factory reset and nothing. Can you tell me what is firmware (stock)? Thanks
Did you set the permissions for the build.prop? That might be enough. Or you'll need find the original firmware, typically it's a kdz for most LGs, and use the LG Flash Tool with the phone in Download Mode.
Ok I will try thanks.
