Hello i have problem with microphone on normal call ,other persons can't hear me . The only way is use handsfree mode (speaker mode ) that works ... So please somebody is good with android and update,create some xml ( i see it on google on mtk devices) that will microphone works on ear mode ??? Thank you very much this is very annoying thing ...
that shouldnt be happening, back up data and try a factory reset or flash stock rom and see if it is still there
I tried today ,yesterday ... nothing help i think is HW problem...

Contacting support would be the only option then to get a replacement if under warranty

Hello.
I have a strange problem. When i try to call, the microphone isnt working. But then i put the call on speaker it`s starting to work.
Already tryed to flash newest rom ( kd7 ) same situation.
any advice will be appritiated

hi I got a s2 it was working well but the speaker started buzzing just the headset one not the loud speaker on .So I called samsung ,they said send it in for repair . it was unlocked and rooted ,everything else was working .when I got it back everything worked but the outgoing text ,I have been reading and searching and modding for 2 days ,trying everything .I rooted unlocked ,set the apn values as posted in two differnt ways .My text was working but now no outgoing it says failed,I hit messege details and the only thing I see wrong is DELIVERY REPORT:NOT REQUESTED I checked text setting #also 15149931123 .
Please help

Well done !
So, I think, you can prepare yourself for flashing the stock ROM and doing a factory reset.
Please remember to wipe cache partition after flashing in recovery mode (Volume UP + Home + Power).
That will prevent most common FCs.

its not showing a normal image. the view is Greenish in color and on clicking it says ---> Error callback.on Error(-2147483684)

It's a connector problem , to fix just press firmly to back of phone in the middle.

where middle?? after taking off the back cover?? therez some space in b/w the cam and the battery(abt 1 cm), there?

try to flash other kernels if you on the custom rom,
i had that problem few months ago
if you on stock rom, open setting>applications>camera
klik force stop, clear cache, clear data, reboot

Now I try to explain ,
remove battery then simultaneously press on the back camera and near battery contact .Try it this is definitely the solution I have repaired 2 phones without opening them. It is not a problem of kernel version.

hello Emax,
i swithed off the phone then removed the battery. pressed the metallic part. then i pressed the area around the camera unit on the back. then switched it on again. Am I doing it right??

PS: I have even dissassembled the phone once and then reassembled it. nothing seems to fix it.
Thanks emax2000 , your solution worked perfectly... It was indeed connector problem. Pressing the Camera and metal plate beneath the battery near the battery connector resolve the issue..
I had upgraded the OS initially to resolve it but that didn't helped.

Alright, so a while back, my loudspeaker started to cut in and out, and when i would fire up a game it would come through all distorted or muffled. Upon exiting the game, i could fire up play music, select a track, and it would play fine. But then back to any other application, and it would be muffled again. Notifications come through the earpiece, and eventually no sounds at all come through the loudspeaker. Then i reboot and its all fine again.
I factory reset, and it did not help. I plugged in headphones (and wheres where it gets interesting) the headphones output the same weird muffled quality of sound that the speaker was producing. So is it not the loudspeaker?
I tried to flash a different rom over, still didnt help it at all. Im not exactly sure whats going on, but nothing i am doing seems to be helping. Can anyone help me?
That doesn't sound like a software problem, that maybe the sound producing hardware ( amplifier ) that seems to be working intermittently, just happens to work when you change applications. Is your device rooted? If so, have you tried to go back to stock via Odin installed stock .tar OS ( kk 4.4.2 ) ?

I think that you should go back to stock or stock rooted, via a recovery backup, or installing a new OS. This would eliminate the possibility of a software problem. So if it works good on stock OS setup, great !!! Then you know its not a hardware problem. If doesn't work properly you will have to replace the device. Now assuming it does work correctly, you can reinstall the other rom that was giving you a sound problem and I would try installing a different kernel. The sound driver in a different kernel my work better.

After i flashed a custom rom lingoue os (Android 9) my iemi disappeard and the mic stopped working and i cant record a video or a voice and i cant play music and there is no service on my phone the phone cant even make a single sound is this from the custom rom or the iemi
What should i do please help me as soon as possible

Do a factory reset, also known as master reset. BTW: This does not restore IMEI.

The factory reset didn't help already done it
