Sony Music and Sound Enhancement port​
NOTE: As of now it works only on a clean install i.e. you'll have to wipe data and then install zip to get it working. I'll update the thread once it is solved.​

Instructions​
Download the zip file
Boot in recovery mode and wipe DATA!
NOTE: It'll reset the device to factory settings! You'll lose downloaded apps and their data. Internal storage wouldn't be affected.
Wipe cache
Flash the zip
Reboot

I've tried in MIui 8 Marshmallow.. but no sound effects changed! As it is.. I also disabled MusicFX. What to do now?

Did you wipe cache and dalvik cache? It's required. Don't disable MusicFX. Make sure you can find this line at the end of build.prop.

I have only tried with a clean install and works perfectly. You can try clearing data of audio settings and MusicFX then reboot and wait for some time to check if it works.

Yes, thanks. There's a line at the end of build.prop I already checked that. But, I didn't Wipe cache & Dalvik cache. Now should I flash this zip again?

& If I don't disable MusicFX, then Audio settings doesn't show in Sony Music App. It will open stock Equaliser settings menu. I also cleared data of Audio settings.

Did u manage to work ..i am on xaomi .eurom global developer...disabled fx audio ..still sound enancement is not working...

I've been using this mod in MIUI Global beta Marshmallow.
Follow this instructions to work this mod:
-Dirty flash ur current ROM.
-Install this zip mod
-Wipe Cache/Dalvik Cache
-After booting up, Disable MusicFX & SELinux must be Permissive
That's all.

Does mi sound equalizer and audio effects crashes on installing this?? I had installed other custom sound mods and xperia x walkman mod but mi sound effects crashes ...thanks btw..

It won't crash. My selinux is enforcing though.
