Omg, Kenzo make noisy photos at 16mpx (using it at 12 in fact)! I could only imagine the amount of with at 64mpx!

I think it's not bad, not as good as manual in low light but the best for zoom..

Using 12 isn´t more effective.
The Camera make do not using every 2cend pixel if i say i like to use only 8MP, maybe this would be nice if the Interpolarisation is working more effective than the Sensor.
It Means that the Cam is using the Pixels´s inside the Sensor and make a Layer of unused Pixel´s.
But than there is the ISO 50 - 1600 there means how sensitive the sensor get and need more Power, but this means more heat and that create a noisy/ unsharp picture with
artefact´s.
So if you Turn of the Cam and start it when u need it. It would be more effective to your Image Quality.

Do you know how asus master pixel work ? (it create 4mpx photos with a bigger capture of light), do you know if an apk is available and permit to do the samething ?

This app isn't compatible with this device rn3 pro. ....
quality of photo is not in MBs. it depends on lenses. focal lengh/apertures.
and no software can change it. it might have more details or Raw data but that wouldn't make your pictures better.
Just gave it a test, it really makes a difference, of course, noise is the main subject of the photo in lowlight conditions, but the amount of detail is insane, and i have only had the chance to test it in lowlight conditions, im sure in a sunny day u could make amazing shots

Oh, and, btw, it eats all of ur ram, sometimes i had to restart my phone, enabling debug mode in advanced settings helped me out some way, for this u really need huge amount of ram

No it can't, I've also tried it, but it can't it is recording at 30FPS the CM13 camera app, I doubt that someone will figure it out soon, also the modified media_profiles.xml(for [email protected]) from Redmi note 2 did not changed anything and is not able to make it recording at 60fps, this will be the stupidest upgrade in my life, I bought RN3PRO to be able to record [email protected](but not really at 30fps but at 26FPS), [email protected], and to be able to play Half Life 2 on this device but not, I thought that if there is a compatibility between other adrenos and gltools to run Half Life 2 on full screen, RN3PRO will also be able to do it but not, not on 5.1 nor on CM13 with 6.0.1 Marshmallow(even cruising in the very beginning, probably nvidia and valve need to do update for Android M ...

Dude are totally out of your mind, I'm currently using the app Cyanogen Camera app and our is recording even in 16fps and not at 60fps, my old redmi note 2 wss recording at 60fps even in night condition, am I a moron, please help me to record at 60fps instead of 30fps 1080p please, it's definitely not working for me, I'm on 7.3.2.0 global stable now and even work cyanogen camera app it pos still recording at 30fps(even 16fps)

Well, I must admit you're right. There's something wrong about this phone, and whenever the light isn't perfect there's a huge framedrop, which is hilarious as for class of this device.

Try it on a very very light place and it should work, it will not work in a low light room or just try to aim in the lamp in the room and it will workout.

MGC_6.1.009_MI8_POCO_V1a.apk this one works fine. m using this. much better camera performance than the stock camera. only slow motion doesnt work.

I am using this one as well and i have tested others and they certainly work but I'm going to assume it's a known thing that it only gets 4K 30 frames per second and doesn't have the 960fps slow-motion either. I didn't double-check but it seemed to me that the front and rear camera resolutions were less than the specifications of the phone as well but I may be wrong.

As far as i understand it correct the front cam only has 6MP instead of 24MP with using the GCam app.

Every Gcam require camera2api to be enabled but on Mix 3 it is enabled out of the box.

Sorry about the wording. That's what I meant. I knew it was needed for gcam.
My current mia1 was off, needed to turn on.
I have mi mix 3 5g, mi9, mi9t, redmi7, redmi note7 on route (and MI 9 se coming in a later shipment).
Was sure if I was going to need to unlock BL and dobthey same with any of them. But the MI mix 3 and MI 9 are the important ones.

The Sanity one seems to work well on Xiaomi.eu MIUI 11 ROM. I couldn't get the BSG one to work though. App crashes upon opening

In my opinion it is very hard to see difference between new version and older versions. However I've noticed stranger things. For example sanity version has not so much advanced settings and you can not remove AWB or improve quantity of frames and quality of image. So i've installed BSG version but there is a strange setting (i'll post it as a screenshot). I don't know which between "google" and "100%" shall I choose due to different weight of photos:
google: 3,14MB
100%: 6,79MB
Really don't know if the heaviest has also the best quality. I'm waiting also for your response
why don't you try? since you have the app tunning. try it yourself.

i guess it will all boil down to performance. which app is more stable to use as a daily driver.
with mine, BSG version is crashing before it even starts. thats why i opted out for the sanity.
Fail on Mi Mix 3 (version 2018) with miui 11
F1 mod works great on MIUI 11

Hand held is not possible for these, It takes around 3 to 4 minutes (depending upon the light conditions I guess) to capture the image and idk how god many frames are captured for such small details (And just for reference - with bare eyes I could not see more than 10 stars in first image) So even little shake will distort the image details
However tripod is not mandatory, you can easily find something to rest your phone on and just click the shutter with timer and it'll do it's thing But yes tripods are perfect for better and more sky immersive shots ..

Gcam worked great, but couldn't open the mi camera to compare.

What are your thoughts regarding the main rear camera on this phone? I assumed that it was worse than the camera on Mi 11 and Mi 10T Pro since the sensor is smaller in size and lacks OIS. However this youtuber claim that camera performance on 11i actually is better than on Mi 11. In the comparison below with Mi 11 Pro the difference was also smaller than I expected.
I have Mi 11i now. My first impression is that the camera is disappointing. Will probably send it back. Mi 10 and Mi 11 takes more detailed stills. But have to do some more testing.

The camera is better than these devices ive tested: S9+, OP7 Pro, A32 5G, OP 8T, OP Nord 2, Iphone 8, SE, X
Do you use the 108 mode and fiddle with settings? Or do u just use nomal mode and tap and take the photo? Thats not how u take a good photo, thats only for iphone (dumbed down os).
I find the camera fine as long as you do a little editing. Low light and night shots are a little iffy but you can still take great shots as long as you edit the photos. Photos in day light are fine. My old phone was an XS Max and the camera scores better than that in testing. Again edit the photos.
Pictures are almost the same as my mi 10. All ok.

I'm using mi 11i for 2 months and the camera quality is not good, autofocus is struggling in low light.
ofcourse it has no OIS so it ramps up ISO thus useless in low light
I have both Mi 11i och Xiaomi 11T in front of me. 11T takes much better low light shots compared to 11i despite having the same main camera sensor and Dimensity 1200 instead of SD888. Probably more optimized software on 11T.
Camera is good for me it takes good selfie and landscape shots. I was also thinking camera might be garbage and this phone can't be used for photography but I was wrong. It is not excellent nor garbage.
The Camera is good but the stock camera app is really bad, taking pictures with pro mode (manually) or with Gcam is astonishingly good.
but the main camera app over-sharpens and over processes the image resulting in noise.
