Guys i want to flash my m4 to older build version on same android version using flash tool. Will it be safe?
Yes it safe. (Select "APPS_LOG" and "USERDATA!). If you not select "APPS_LOG" and "USERDATA in FlashTool, you telephone stuck in bootanimation.

Create a flashable with PRFCreator.
You need :
- Xperia Z2 3g ( D6502)
- Flash flashable with recovery
- Flash "byeselinux_flashabe.zip" with recovery
- Flash "RICDefeat.zip" with recovery
- Flash "Bootloop_fix.zip"

Hi,
i've downgraded my Tablet Z from CM13 to Stock-ROM 4.4.4 using Emma (there is also 5.1.1 available in Emma). But now i can't find any howto to root the device again. The only guides i've found doesn't work with android 4.4.4 or 5.1.1. With Flashtool i can't downgrade to a Firmware lower than 4.4.4 because Flashtool can't find the Firmware i've downloaded (see here: https://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=71664260&postcount=3480).
So i have the problem: i can't downgrade to a rootable Firmware and i can't root the Fimrware i can install.
Is there any other Way to downgrade or any root with 4.4.4/5.1.1?

I'm running into issues myself, I've been trying to follow along with the video I found on Rootjunky's channel but when I load the firmware onto my tablet it gets into a reboot loop never getting past the SONY logo. I reload firmware on it using the Emma program from Sony (which only gives me the Nordic firmware for some reason) which is 5.1.1.
I have no clue how to get around this.

Install any stock firmware with Flashtool 0.9.18.6 and root it with vroot, kingroot (5.1.1) or other tools (firmware version specific).
