Id say no, verizon models are locked down. As of now the gsm unlocked lte model can be rooted and unlock bootloader.
Hey I just purchased the Moto E xt1527 5.0.2 I am wondering if you can achieve unlock out of the box, as well as root? I read that the xt1526 were unable to be unlocked? My carrier is cricket if that helps. Thanks!
Xt1526 most definitely unlockable.... You can go to Motorola website and see if your phone is able to do so. In pretty sure it is. If you look elsewhere on forum you should see many things for xt1527
Sent from my Moto E 2015 LTE
Unfortunately, cricket is now owned by AT&T. And they will not allow you to unlock the boot loader. In dealing with the same
I have had att and unlocked my Samsung galaxy 2 active as well as my HTC one m8 on att?
According to Motorola, they don't have an agreement with att to unlock the bootloader.

Have you tried https://motorola-global-portal.custhelp.com/app/standalone/bootloader/unlock-your-device-a to see if you can unlock the bootloader? I was thinking about buying the cricket device, depending on if this works or not.
Hi, can i unlock the bootloader by the motorola's page with the verizon locked phone? or do i need a unsigned model to get the BL unlocked?
Can i put a global unsigned firmware to my Verizon MOTO E 2015 or can i only put my verizon's firmware on it?
Can i still use network on a global debloated firmware?
Thanks afterwards!
>can i unlock the bootloader by the motorola's page with the verizon locked phone?
No.
>do i need a unsigned model to get the BL unlocked?
Only the AT&T/GoPhone/Cricket branded XT1527 and the Verizon XT1528 cannot be bootloader unlocked. All the other variants can be unlocked via Moto.
>Can i put a global unsigned firmware to my Verizon MOTO E 2015 or can i only put my verizon's firmware on it
You can only put Verizon's firmware on it. If you try to flash another region's firmware, it won't validate (or worse, you'll get a perma. brick).
>Can i still use network on a global debloated firmware?
Doesn't apply to the Verizon model, but on bootloader-unlockable models, yes you can flash another region's firmware (don't flash the other region's radio/modem) or custom ROMs and the network works fine.
hello,
i have the middle east variant of the lg g5 h850 (from israel) and i was wondering if it is possible to root my device.
all the root guides i found specify the european h850 model and i want to know if there are any substantials differences between the two h850 that will prevent me from rooting.
my software version is V20b-ISR-XX (Nougat 7.0)
You can't root because your version has locked bootloader and without it you cann't get root.
Only european h850 can be unlocked.
H830 also has a way to root it.
H850 is the unlocked version, its rootable and the bootloader is officially unlockable, I'm from israel too....

And you managed to unlock the bootloader on your h-850 using this tutorial?
(and can you please check if your variant is the European one, there are some stores here in Israel that sell the European h850)

Did you have done root by this guide for the Israeli version?
I want to buy a Pixel 6, so: which one is the variant that i can root? (G9S9B, GB7N6 or GR1YH). I've heard Verizon variant (i don't know which one is the Verizon one) cannot be rooted.

Hi.
I buy my Pixel(s) from Google.
Global (carrier unlocked) version.
GB7N6 was the P6 version I got.
I am not certain but, I believe..
G9SB9 is the AT&T/Verizon (carrier) locked version.
AT&T version should be able to be carrier unlocked. Not sure about unlocking the bootloader.
The Verizon version can not be unlocked.
GR1YH is the Japan version.
Not sure about carrier/bootloader unlocking.
So I would suggest the GB7N6 version.
Cheers.

You may/can unlock the bootloader of AT&T.
Same as Japan, me with a Japanese Pixel6, you can unlock the phone bootloader.
