Ok we need a little more info, like what version of KitKat you are running ? Is your device rooted ? If you excepted the OTA to 4.4.4 then you will might have to reactivate the Watch On app for the remote feature and reinstall the code to run your TV. Those settings may have been lost during the update, as far as I know the 4.4.4 update does not effect the Watch On App. If all else fails reinstall the Watch On app from the Goggle Play Store.
OK as of right now I'm using gummy rom

The Gummy rom is AOSP. The Watch On app that comes with the Note 3 is Framework TouchWiz based. You might try the this version of Watch On by Peel Industries, still my not work on AOSP but can't hurt to try. Here is the link https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=tv.peel.samsung.app&hl=en
Is there any way to install Google dialer and contact in a rooted stock tw rom?
I've tried to install the apk but it doesn't work.
Well, not long ago I read google had put them both on google play but pulled them back again. I believe they might be putting them back on the store so anyone can download them.
I know but in the play store don't show they because are imcompatibles.
If you try to install the apk, it gives errors
Hi, I have done this when following this thread. It is for Android 5.1 based roms from what I can tell.

Not had any problems so far but not tested it fully. Basic functionality in terms of it opening, adding abs editing contacts, etc, all that works. I've not had any issues tbh.

Via TWRP. You could manually move them since you're rooted but flashable zip makes it easier.

Yes. You will flash it via a custom recovery and it will "install" it for you. It won't remove the stock contacts app.

This guy seems like he managed to do it even though it is dated, probably would still work. You'd need to find the correct files for our note 4. Honestly easier to just install twrp

The current version is specifically for that version of Jodel. I'll add that to the title.

Does anyone know how to backup Karma points?
I want to install a new ROM and have to make a clean install. But then I would loose my 150k Points.

It does get GPS coords, and i pick my home location, also i don't exactly live out on the ocean. Besides that, there are many here using Jodel, wouldn't see a reason for it not to work.

I had this problem first time, too. The problem was that the module wasn't activated automatically in xposed after installation and reboot.

I'm in the same situation. I want to switch my custom rom but would lose all my Karma points. Has anyone tried Titanium Backup or another root backup manager?
I use Titanium Backup, but it doesn't save the Karma points. The points are part of the nandroid backup but that's not very helpful.

Hi Everyone,
Alot more apps seem to be detecting root nowadays, and after Googling solutions I can't seem to find anything that works anymore.
I used to just deny the app in SuperSU but this doesn't seem to work anymore with the Sky Q app and Android Pay.
Im currently using Pixel.
Does anyone have any apps or methods?

Use Rootcloak Xposed module to hide apps detecting your root. Add apps that you want to stop detecting root.
Download it from here. You need to install Xposed framework.

Unfortunately both Xposed and Rootcloak not supported to android Nougat.
You can use hide my root app developed by amphoras to hide root access. Download from play store. I don't know it supports android Nougat.
Developer not given information about Nougat compatibility. Try and see
If it helped. Please thank me.
Iv already tried it, didnt work. Hopefully something comes up soon

Use suhide app developed by famous android developer chainfire.
It can hide root on per app basis.
It is in experimental stage and it supports to android Nougat.

i tried it, but it caused a boot loop. I Looked through the thread, and it seems to be an issue with November's update. I'll wait for him to update the app and try again but it looks promising.

Confirm magisk manager app still working on S9+ (use menu: Magisk Hide)
Introduction:
You can read on your own in the official site: https://www.kali.org/kali-linux-nethunter/
Basically, this installation allows you to run the official Kali Linux, a Debian-derived Linux distribution designed for digital forensics and penetration testing, over Android. It should work fine also for Xiaomi Mi9T/Redmi K20 as well as for any other Android devices, but I share it for our device because I've tested it before and I would like to guide you through some device specific(I believe) issues I faced during the process...
Disclaimer:
Before we start, I would like you to know that if you follow my guide, you get yourself in the risk of possibly bricking your device, so I'm not responsible for any bad consequences... Proceed at your own risk!
BEFORE EVERYTHING:
INSTALL BUSYBOX (magisk repository is recommended)
Process:
1. Install nethunter app & nethunter terminal app from Nethunter App Store.
2. Open nethunter app and navigate to Kali Chroot Manager.
3. Install latest chroot (minimal or full).
4. When the installation is finished, click start chroot.
5. After that, DO NOT choose to install Kali Metapackages and close the app!
6. After, open Nethunter Terminal and choose "Kali"
7. Now, type in the commands:
a) apt-get update
b) apt-get updgrade
c) apt-get dist-upgrade
8. Done! Enjoy some Pen-Testing!!!
Notes:
1) MONITOR MODE WORKING FOR THE INTERNAL WI-FI CARD for stock MIUI kernel and any other kernels you can achieve it by testing,
BUT PACKET INJECTION ISN'T WORKING!!!
(check custom commands)
2) HID attacks are working but you should first change the device USB function to "hid", through the Nethunter app, on USB Arsenal section.
3) As for EXTERNAL WI-FI ADAPTERS support, a custom kernel is required specifically for that purpose.
(Take a look at this thread) or you can join a maintainer's telegram group who's making one: https://t.me/onett_boots

Anyway, solve the issue using stericson busybox instead of the one available as magisk module.
Btw, did you get a chance to use a wlan external dongle ? Seems I can't get those to work

Me neither... I suppose a custom kernel that supports monitor mode for Kali Linux must be built... As I am not the kernel developer, someone else will have to build it... I hope we figure this out!
