I see several AOSP's for Kenzo I want to know which is the best and most bug free.
Is there a Xiamoi MM that the AOSP 6 roms are based on and if not will there be a pure AOSP MM released at any point?

No, the firmware is different, the binaries are different, the build.prop is different.
Having so many flavors of custom ROMs for the Redmi Note 4, why install a Google Android Stock ROM?
If you want the MIUI camera, wait until the device is out and someone will publish the app (I think Xiaomi will publish it on the Playstore as they did with the Calculator, makes more sense)

maybe they can port it then change the camera with the ported google cam
Even i am waiting for mi a1 rom to come out so we can try to port the miui camera to aosp roms. Existing aosp roms for redmi note 4 are good enough. Just need a better camera. And who knows if A1 has some other xiaomi features too. We'll have to wait for some days until a developer gets their hands on the device.

thats what i was thinking both almost similar hardware ROM porting will be easy.

It's literally just AOSP on the Mi A1.
Doesn't matter what chipset or cam, it's just AOSP in the end.
Might just go with Slim7 or any near vanilla ROM if you're that keen.

Best option for you is to use Google Camera port. Stock camera cannot be used

One of the strengths of stock Emui 4 rom on Honor 5x is its camera and specially its beautiful filters. Is there any ported app to install on android 9 custom roms like lineage 16, AOSiP, crDroid, Arrow etc? I tested an old ported camera, but it doesnt work on android 9 custom roms. If there is not any ported stock camera, can anyone give me an advice to install a good camera app (like emui's camera) on my honor 5x with android 9 custom rom?
can we change or replace a gcam as stock camera ? and how we do that?
