I got root via King root and tried to use super-sume but my phone rebooted and I can't find kingroot and have no root access, I installed supersu but still no access then I tried to reinstall kingroot but it says "done" and "open" but open is greyed out and I can't click it.
see if you can go into applications and force stop it, then uninstall
reboot, reinstall, see if it will open

I just downloaded CM7.2 on my Galaxy551, using this thread
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1861186
The phone has root, but it gives root access to everything without superuser prompting.
I tryied to update the su binary but it stops at "Making sure new su works"
It just freezes there.
Any help?
Hi mtbrandao,
you could look into SuperSu settings. There you should see under "Access" the option "Default access". If it's on "Grant" that's the trigger for the problem.

I downloaded SuperSu from Play store.
It works OK. Asks for permission and everything.
If I uninstall and install SuperUser, it doens't asks for permission.
SuperSu works (prompt), SuperUser doesn't (prompt).
I will using SuperSu until I can fix SuperUser
Well, I was using GameGuardian and an error message popped up saying 'Unforunately, Kinguser has stopped.' I, having a little experience with Android immediately forced stop Kinguser and cleared the cache and data. This did not work. Now, every time I use a root app, Kinguser stops and I can't grant that application root access. I tried replacing Kinguser with SuperSU with the Terminal Manager, but again, I can't grant it the root access it needs. Any help?
Hello,
I have a pretty generic tablet: PROSCAN PLT9602G I got for free for my kid to use. I got it rooted using Kingoroot and the root was successful.
Kingoroot installed their version Kingo SuperUser and I would like to install Chainfire's SuperSu but am having issues.
I downloaded and installed SuperSu from the play store and grant it su permission via the Kingo SuperUser app.
SuperSu then says it needs to update the binary but fails. I disabled Kingo SuperUser via settings>apps and retried to update SuperSu's binary without success.
What am I doing wrong? Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!!
I rooted my Micromax A104 KitKat 4.4 with Kingroot and after using for some months I factory reset the phone without removing the root, (without unrooting) now I tried rooting again with the same method as before but I'm unable to gain access to root. When I tried to install the app. It says there is a same application with a conflicting certificate. (Problem is I don't find the kingroot or superuser apps in the apps drawer, and there is nothing to be found even in the list of install apps.) Now, even when I access /system/apps/ folder there is no install apps found in folder.
Note: When I install superuser apps it says su binary needs to be updated and when I tried to update, it fails.
That's because the SU app and binary are not in the normal app places. Basically you will have to either track down where it installs and remove it (will need Root for that) or flash the stock firmware.
Thanks...for the info.
I tried to root my Lenovo K910l using Kingo Root (yes I am a noob). The app could not root the phone but it ended up installing an app 'superuser'. Now this app won't uninstall. When I open this app it shows the phone is "not rooted" and asks me to "root" now. When I tap the link, it asks me to download Kingo Root app which again fails to root the phone. This app has taken over the control of the phone and I want to remove it, but no success. I have tried to factory reset and even formatted the phone but to no avail. The phone isn't even booting up in normal recovery which I suspect is due to this superuser app. I am thoroughly confused. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
try these
1. trying to root any other app and get the root permission for rom tool box lite. (install this app from play store). now open this app and you can easily uninstall any app.
2. thats not work? search with malware using any antivirus app. this superuser is the one of the type malware. then you can find and erase with the app
3. full format with sd card and internal memory or install new update frimware using official site :good:
Thanks for the suggestions, but I tried to root it again with the PC app, and then tried to uninstall it later. That somehow worked. But unfortunately I ended up with my phone unrooted again and in the process my phone is still not booting up in recovery mode and I can no longer see it or access it through my PC.
