Hello all,
haven't found anything yet, so please don't be so angry when there is such a thread yet.
I'm about to root my G5 to get more power out of it but what are the differences in the firmware V20a - V20b and V20c?
as i know, 20b has no voice over LTE function and seems to be a Spanish vodafone version only ->http://foro.vodafone.es/t5/Actualiz...ización-LG-G5-H850-a-versión-V20b/td-p/760119
20 b and c have newer security patches inside as 20a will have.
i haven’t found more informations until now.

Just had v10n update come through dated Oct 07. Wondering if anyone has installed this yet and noticed much of a difference . I can't see anything out there aabout it . Huge file 514 mb. States improvement through value pack what ever that is and also usability and functionality improvements. Shame the N does not stand for nougat
What is your model?
I got 2 days ago, its just a security update, with a few bug fixes, nougat will be named v20, and i believe the g5 get to test it in November
Please state your variant. H850? H860? Etc. Thanks.

There is v10n Kdz but it not for EU.
Hi there,
I tried different versions to test Nougat for H860 Dual SIM model.
H860N HK : Phone runs Okay but networks are unstable (at least for my African Model).
H860 TW : Network is way better and I got Smart Doctor . But I have an NTCode Error on every boot.
Anyone got a link to try H860 AME version ? Anyone got an LG Bridge update ?
Tia
Wait, you got a Taiwan version of nougat.??
Yep
So wait, it exists? I was researching both reddit and all the XDA forums to see if the H860 Taiwan nougar firmware was released, and I havent seen no topic about it!

There's a downloadable link just here : http://forum.xda-developers.com/lg-g5/help/ota-twn-devices-question-t3510207
You must use LGUP and the H860 HK guide thread to update
How is this confirmed to be the Taiwan version?
Nevermind
RIP
I have a SEA build? That's too confusing
Man thats ****ed
LG H860 AME - No bueno
You'd expect the international variants to be one of the first to get the Nougat update, but nothing on LG Bridge or OTA yet.
Today Turkish H860s have been getting their updates finally, hope ours comes soon!
Anyone with a Middle East or African update?
Is the root available for H961N 6.0?
I found root for other version of V10 6.0, I also found the root for H961N 5.1.1 but how to root this Hong Kong version ?
anyone knows?
I too am interested in this. I noticed that an Android Nougat 7.0 update is planned for the V10 in the second quarter of 2017, so it should arrive any time now. Is there any validated method to root the V10 H961N international on Marshmallow 6.0 yet? This thread is far from dead lol, just seems like lately there has been little to no progress made with this phone. I am willing to help in any way possible, I plan on keeping this phone for some time!
A week into January and there is no information from Telstra about anything to do with its G5.
So i figured I'd ask here if there is anything that can be done to it (Custom Recovery, kdz flashing, etc).
I'm a little confused with the software version as mine displays 505 rather than a region code.
I can't help out.. But I can confirm I'm in the same boat, same '505' software version, bought it outright and unlocked from telstra.. Yet I'm sitting here waiting for the update that LG no doubt worked tirelessly to push..
My question is can we just flash the european H850 kdz over the H850K? as they both have identical hardware specs.. So far as i can tell the branding is the only difference?
If anyone checks this with a different model letter I'd be curious if AIDA64 or another system information tool recognizes the letter variant, as AIDA64 only mentions H850.
Incase you haven't seen this forum yet, if you skip down to posts made in december 2016 onwards, there are plenty of people asking similar questions, seems anyone having bought a G5 from Optus actually has the H850 (non-k) variant.

..got the prompt today.
Currently downloading nougat for the H850K
i think it has to be H805 European model, our 805 Australian model can't do anything.
it's very frustrating and unfiar for LG H930DS users they didn't get yet Android Oreo updates yet. I Jaye LG always do OS updates in Korea/US users. i am not very much confident today note LG will give updates on time to everyone not only Korea model.
This guy just flashed the H930DS Oreo KDZ on his India H930DS phone, and you can too.

1) Why are you opening multiple threads to make the same complaint? If you have something to add, add it to thread you already made. You opened these two threads just two minutes apart. Come on!
https://forum.xda-developers.com/lg-v30/help/oreo-updates-t3788785
2) I don't know which DS you have, but if it's India why not post in the India thread in the first place, instead of making new threads.
3) H939DS Oreo KDZ is posted down in Development. Been released for awhile. YOU CAN FLASH IT RIGHT NOW and you will have Oreo on your H930DS.
3) If you're talking about a specific regional flavor, please clarify and don't make a blanket statement? For instance, "The Oreo KDZ for MY H930DS has not been released yet."
But you can flash the KDZ for the H930DS posted -- and before that was released, we found H930DS could even flash H930 KDZ.
However, VoLTE for India carriers doesn't work with those H930DS/H930 KDZ, which is problematic for Jio in particular. But others have flashed the H930DS and H930 Oreo KDZ and are quite happy for now until their regional Oreo is released. Depends on your situation.
