Why use TWRP ? Why not just use some rooted firmware which keeps my warranty safe?
TWRP is a custom recovery. Thus, it has many more features than stock recovery, such as making full NAND backups, flashing zips through recovery, ADB sideload, and more! Plus, if something goes wrong while flashing something, you can always restore from a backup using TWRP, meaning you're much safer when flashing new ROM's, etc!

WITH PC:
Step 1 :
Install Samsung Drivers and connect your device to PC. Let it install the drivers and any updates that may be required. The device drivers should install without failure.

Step 2 :
Download Odin 3 you can use 3.07 or 3.09
You can download Odin from here
Download the TWRP Recovery
Step 3:
Power down your device, then when turning it on hold [ Vol down + power + home button (all at the same time) ] in order to boot the phone into Odin mode. Release it when you see the warning about entering "Download Mode".
Press vol up to confirm
Step 4:
Now that you are in Odin Mode, connect your device via USB cable.
Now open Odin 3.09 or 3.07 that you have downloaded.
If there is a pop-up regarding Installing ADB drivers let it finish, it usually updates.
Make sure the COM : xx (xx is usb port number it can be any number so don’t worry about it, just verify COM is lit up)
Now select AP and browse to where you have .tar file and select it
Make Sure only Default Auto Reboot and F. Reset Time is ticked and nothing else. Very important! Double check that only these are ticked.
Untick Auto Reboot if you are installing recovery for first time!
Click Start and wait for the process to end. DO NOT Interrupt during this time.
Once it says PASS. BOOT INTO RECOVERY USING VOL UP + HOME + POWER BUTTON.
Done.
And you're done! type reboot recovery and you should boot into TWRP.

if you want to try new cm11 then you can https://github.com/Grace5921/CM-11.0_BUILDS but it's compiled from server so i have not updated some things so wifi and video related stuff should not work in this build. flashing using twrp 3.0.2

HOW TO INSTALL ON NON-FU VARIANTS
1) Open the zip which contains the ROM and open updater-script file located in META-INF/com/google/android/ and remove all strings which contain symlinks for /firmware and /firmware-modem and save it
2) Open a root browser and copy all files located in /firmware/image and /firmware-modem/image in the zip in system/etc/firmware
3) Wipe all except internal storage (if you are updating to the last version wipe only system, cache and dalvik

I think you can try. This rom is for a500fu (i forgot to say this in the thread), but phone specs are similar. you can try, but probably you will encounter some more bugs. Ah if you want to try, make a backup before flash the ROM

To ROM works in others variants, you need build a "old-style" zip package (with install, META-INF, system folders, boot.img, libs and modem symlinks from A500x stock ROM) because that block based updates cannot be flashed on other variants.

Well, it can works also without these files, but if not, you need to copy some proprietary files into /system/lib and all files located in /firmware and /firmware-modem

I know... It seems no recoveries work with fastboot boot command with oos11 beta 1. I tried twrp img with same results.
But if you flash it from recovery, it works flawlessy.

Probably I found the problem. The zip check the ro.product.device to see if your device is compliant.
I used these values: guacamole, guacamoleb, guacamolec. But your ro.product.device is "oneplus 7".
I added "oneplus 7" in:

I solved it by using your dualboot recovery on my stock device, which worked perfect. Love the dual boot app btw, will use it when i change my mind again and swich backl to dualboot

Exynos 8895 having already Android 12 roms available needs also a recovery decent enought to back up them. Don't worry, We got you covered. Flash the latest R11.1 stable release to enjoy full Android 12 support!
PS. This recovery is only for all of Exynos variants. Qualcomm is NOT supported.

Just wanted say thanks, When I installed Lineage 19.0 few days back, latest TWRP got stuck on splash screen so I tried Orange Fox and it saved the day.

I have a samsung galaxy note 8 device, it uses the same cpu as s8 and s8+, is there a chance to adapt this recovery for note 8?
