[Q] Restore contacts2.db

Hello everyone!
Up till now this forum helped me in every stupid thing i did with my HTC Tattoo (rooting, insxtaling cyanogen etc) but now im stuck and i couldn find any anwsers so i have to ask for help
Here's the deal: I have cyanogen mod 7 on my HTC Tattoo and yesterday it got stuc (bootloop) and wouldnt turn on. Me being the i***t i am didnt do a backup recently, so i did a backup in clockworkmod recovery. I did a factory reset and everythin and the phone works ok now, but i've lost all my data. I can live without the apps and sms's but i would really like to get my contacts back. I tried to backup only the data in clockwork recovery, but i get the same bootloop again. I managed to extract the contacts2.db file from my data.img, but now i don't know how to get it back on my device. I tried coppying it back in the correct folder using root explorer, but that didnt work (contacts were still empty) and now i'm stuck.
I would really apreciate some help
Thank you!
This is why you should sync your contacts to Google. Before you wiped your phone, did you try flashing the CM ROM zip first? If the cause of the boot loop was something you messed up in the /system partition, then flashing the CM zip will wipe your system partition and put a clean copy of the ROM there, and your phone will work. You wouldn't need to wipe your data partition. So try this now, restore the backup of your messed up ROM and flash the CM zip over it. Let's see if it works.

[Q] Music App Uninstalled

Hi,
I tried to restore using Titanium Backup a previous version of Music App thinking I would be able to retrieve my deleted playlist, Since then I have lost my Music App completely.
I try to restore the latest backup using TB but the phone restarts (due to S-ON I suppose).
How can I restore it? The app is there in the System/app folder. I also tried creating a Flashable Zip and flashing it. But it didn't help.
Thanks.

I already did a stock restore but anyways please share your method to fix this!
Was going to suggest that Someone pulls Either the applicable ICS or JB (or from the system dump in Dev section) music App from their Desire X and then place it on the Sdcard in a place youd remember.
Then boot into recovery and make sure you Mount System, then flash aroma file manager. Copy the Music.apk (or whatever was removed) and past it into system/App (or wherever it should be)
Then reboot and you should be happy as Larry beacuse youre problem is now sorted

I had already done this, I am on the stock so copied both apk and odex from recovery. Also tried Flashing it as a zip but didn't work as well.
Thanks for your input btw!

[Q] Cannot restore stock backup

Hello!
I have recently unlocked and rooted my international Atrix it in order to try some other custom ROM's.As advised, i did make a backup of the original ROM (with Romracer’s Recovery 5.0.2.7-atrix5) before installing a new one(the backup files resulted are using this file extension ext3.tar).
After a while i decided to go back on 2.3.4 GB because of the better battery life.I encountered an error while restoring the system "Not enough space on device"(by using advanced restore i could restore data, cache and other partitions except system).
After searching on the internet about this problem, i realized that i couldn't restore the backup because my system partition has 320 MB of space while the system backup archive has 310 MB.It looks like the system need a bit more space in order do be able to extract/install and do it's thing.
My question is: 1) Do you guys know any method that i can use in order to restore that system partition?
1a) Is it possible to somehow alter the backup to make it smaller?
1b) Is making the system partition bigger an solution(i heard you can brick your phone by doing this)?
2) And last, if there is no way of restoring my backup, does anyone know where i could find an International 2.3.4 GB Fruitcake?I searched the whole forum but i couldn't find any working links.
