Hi, I have honor 5C L21 and also joined to beta test of nugat by huawei application BetaClub on 14 of Feb. But still don't receive OTA with nugat. Hope they will release it soon

After registering it said to wait up to a week so I guess I'll be hearing from them soon and you it should be any time now!?! Fingers crossed :fingers-crossed:

I'm from Poland so quite close to you maybe for your model L51 they have plan release nugat without beta tests

I'm from the UK. In the app, when I go to projects, there is only 1 for the honor nem-l51 for Android nougat....???? Maybe try again...

Sorry I dunno why it doesn't log you in. I downloaded the app, installed, you have to have your Huawei ID registration setup, it automatically logs you in. Then you select the project and apply....

OK, for your Phone you find a Project, but the L51 UK ist Not the Same Like L51 in Germany

When I signed up last week there was just 1/150 signed up for the UK. I've made it 2/150 but no update or notification yet.
It's kind of hard to expect people to sign up if no-one is aware of it. The hihonor UK forum is a pig's ear. Honor UK do have a fairly active twitter feed so they could direct users.

I think you and me are the 2 that is shown in the app for that beta project!!
I would have thought but making it known on xda hundreds of people would jump at the chance to join the beta testing program for nougat and emui 5...?!? I'm not on Twitter so maybe you could drop a tweet to make other nem-l51 owners aware. I am going to have a look over at modaco.com and post about this if it hadn't already been done.
After rummaging about on hihonor.com, I've noticed that the Italian forum are all over this update for nougat using this app I uploaded ( first post of this thread)...only they have the same app but solely in Italian.
C'mon 5C owners, I see more than a few hundred people have viewed this thread but only few have responded...?!?
Don't you want to help push this nougat upgrade through ASAP or what ??

I still haven't been accepted on to the project despite it being nearly 2 weeks now
Will take some screen shots inside the app and then email them with the email address given in the app. And ask why is it taking so long...

it's for the european honor5x C432 i have KIW-21C185B140 and i couldn't update the only version witout EMUI 4 update so weird. i even tried to install the european version and it didn't work. Please help us

Hello musamaashraf, I'd love to answer your question! The Honor 5X update is a staged rollout, meaning not everybody gets it at once. We send out the update in daily random batches and the first batch went out last week. Please be patient as it will make it to you. We want you to enjoy Android 6.0 (Marshmallow) and not have any issues. We appreciate you and we're happy to have you on Team Honor. (ED)

No they did not... I contacted them again... They said they are facing bugs and will release MM soon... So stay tuned...
I don't think they intend on releasing MM.... I'm really pissed but can't do anything... I have almost lost hope...

Every time honor keep saying that we get this update very soon but unfortunately no bostive action as if we are asking for Android 7 I believe this update will never released

I believe 'racism' is a bit too strong a word in this situation, but I do nevertheless think that there's neglect for the C185 KIW-L21, which I presume has to have similar hardware to its European cousin bearing the exact same model number.
Other aspects worth noting is how Huawei is selling the Honor 5x at a much higher price in the gulf states than in other countries (US, India), knowing that there's little import tax and no VAT!
Otherwise, it is still a great phone.

I am not sure if i can get all the drivers etc quickly it shouldnt be too long. But i am having issues with downloading the source as the servers are being hamered.
Would like to test.

Are you in China or somewhere else?
A Chinese senior member posted about a week or so ago that to register a Huawei id, you need to have a Chinese IP. May be that is the case.

I am from Europe, but I had no problem registering it on my Honor 7. Is it a problem with only ShotX?

I don't think so. I don't remember exactly but I guess it was for an honor 7 that he/she could not register an account.
Well, why don't you force update your device using the 3 button method?
The only thing is, it will wipe all your data if you use it so you need to make a backup before using it.

before release Samsung already said the note 7 would start out with android 6 but that they'd bring out an update to android 7 in november.
it's just unofficial confirmation that they're still on schedule.

I think the Note7 is dead forever. 5 replacement phones on fire in the US as it seems. I smell another recall or people abandon their Note7s. I did today. Damage control.
I don't think Nougat will happen anymore.
Even if there are risk takers who continue using the Note 7, I doubt Samsung is crazy enough to release a Nougat update just for us.

Did you rebrand? Mine was the same case when I rebranded using FF.

I was about to buy a Mate 10 pro, but the fact the phone is not unlockable made me stopped my buy.
Is there any way to obtain any official statement regarding this case ?? I mean, is it temporary or definitive?

As informations from Huawei Germany Hotline, only Unlock Code with a Call or contact directly from Huawei Service, cause too many Peoples sells generated Codes via eBay. No longer via Website possible. I called Yesterday Huawei Support and received Code today via E-Mail. Sorry for my bad english.
