Help on rooting Lenovo Tab3-710F - Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi all!!
I tried to root my Lenovo Tab3-710F with KingoRoot. It did not work. RootCheck says it's not rooted. Kingo SuperUser says the binary must be updated or reinstalled but rooting again does nothing. It seems that it could be the bootloader is locked. Beware, I'm a noob at this so I don't really know what that is even though google did give me some ideas about it.
I've come across a few forums posts about this tablet. this and this
The tablet is working fine but it is not rooted.
Does anyone know how I can root this tablet? Or where I could find more information. Some forum posts are reeeeally technichal and I don't know how to do what they say in there :cyclops::cyclops::cyclops:

I'm in the same boat it's so annoying

@rootLenovoPls
I have rooted Lenovo Tab 2 a7-20f with KingRoot .Maybe this also works for your tablet.

[Q] Nothing on Google

Alright i bought a new Tablet Videocon VT71, running on Andriod 4.0.3. I was kind of trying to root and upgrade android as the provider didn't had any update on their end. After 2 days of continues searching and trial and error every method i can find. I could not root my device. I tried rooting it with one click root which gave me ADB error despite i have ADB installed on my pc (i checked it).
Will someone be generous enough and help this noob out. As i am struck with this.

[Q] Azpen A1040 Help

I have an Azpen A1040, I am fairly new to tablets altogether.
I was trying to use the complete linux installer app to see if I could run Ubuntu on my tablet.
Well, that requires root. I have tried a few things with no success.
But the last one I tried was Vroot, it did NOT root the tablet, but yet, now Vroot is on there and I can not remove it even after doing a Facotry Reset.
I uninstalled Vroot when it didnt work, but then I did a factory reset and noticed there is an icon that looks like the vroot icon but all the text is in chinese.
I dont really need to run linux or root priveleges that bad, but now it bugs me that the vroot app is still there. What is it doing. Is it hurting anything?
Is there an easy way to get rid of it?
The specs of the tablet from the side of the box are
Azpen A1040 10.1" Quad Core Tablet
CPU MT8127 Quad Core Cortex A7
Running Android KitKat 4.4.2
You can find web specs for it at azpenpc.com
I can go in to running apps and do a force stop and disable on the chinese vroot, but I just dont want it to cause spyware or anything else.
Not even sure this is the right forum to post in, but I figure someone will point me in the right direction I hope.
Thanks

Hi Rick, did you figure out how to root this device? I have been struggling for days trying to find a root utility. Thanks!
I'm not doing what you are attempting but.
I found a couple of potential options. That worked for the limited things I was doing.
Cyanogen rooting appeared to work, though it won't allow installation of custom roms since there currently is no support.
Kingoapp I found on CNet, though I don't have any experience with it, it appeared to successfully root the device.
I would have added links but currenlty it appears I'm not allowed to. Google is your friend.

Root Help

Hello I don't know if I can ask here but I can't root my device. I have tried almost everything, from the apk's and even on my laptop. I have a Lenovo A816 running on 4.4.4. I just got this phone, I'm actually an Apple user but my iPhone is being repaired right now. It's safe to say I don't know anything about Androids. I've looked all over google for guides on this phone but nothing comes up. I really want to uninstall some of these system apps. Every time I play music from Spotify or Deezer the app crashes. I've tried King root, Vroot' iRoot' framaroot, oneclickroot. I've literally tried everyone one of them to no avail. When I switched to my laptop, I used Kingo Root and it said root was successful but when I tried root checker it said my root is not installed properly, so no root again. Is there anything I can do to root it. This phone is Chinese.
Thanks

Root help with Acer Iconia A1-810

Hello there! Today I tried to root my tablet, but I couldnt. And by saying this, I mean that i tried almost everything i could find, from many one click apps and PC programs to Acer Iconia Toolkit. Also I have tried manual rooting, with first unlocking the booter, and then installing SuperSU.Update from CWM, but it gave an error. Some of the app programs said that the device is successfully rooted, but Check Root didnt. The toolkit gives me 'couldnt connect' error and suggesting I turn on usb debbuging, although I had it on. I tried with TWRP, but the device is not supported. The only thing i found but dont wanna try is all data clear, go back to 4.2 version, root, disable root, upgrade, enable root. But i loose my data in the process. I have been on this for like 5-6 hours already and cant figure it out. Can anyone help me? I would be really gratefull if so.
Device: Acer Iconia A1-810 with Android 4.4.2 KitKat.

Help! Root lg k5

Help me!!!!
Anyone know how to root lg k5??
Model: X220
There seems to be no way to root it yet. I've tried both KingRoot and KingoRoot at least, in their latest versions, both PC and apk, and no method is available yet.
What chipset?
Sent from my VFD 700
GSMArena lists Mediatek MT6582.
Someone has news on this? I've been trying new and old versions of Kingroot (b367), KingOroot and Root Genius, both PC and apk, and none of them can find a viable rooting method yet.
I've read that LG K4, however, with his Mediatek 6735 chipset, has been rooted.
Recently I've tried Kingroot 5.0.1 and the process seems to be able to reach 100% after a few tries. The Kingroot program then acts as if the phone was rooted, but the option it gives is to "Repair" the root, and that won't do. Also, Root Checker says it isn't rooted.

Hello all. As I say in this post I try that method but it wont works for me. So i try KingRoot (KingRoot, not KingOroot) and I can say that this phone is under the requests. I don't know how much it take for the devs to finalized it (there's few phones models before this). Btw good to know. Maybe try a look time by time using the Kingroot pc tool, that gives you more informations compared to .apk one.
