Hello, I'm using G928V in India, unable to use this phone with the Indian Jio SIMCARD.. I can use data but cannot call.. I cannot locate the VoLTE option in the phone setting. Also, i bought the phone 4mnths ago, haven't had a single OTA update... I just dont know what to do!! Will flashing an Indian firmware resolve the issue?? Is there something I need to use to enable the VoLTE option.. PS- Currently phone is not rooted.

i am using indian sim card on korean S4 E330k.
1. when i call someone its gives me a popup message with two lines call korea and call other countries respectively. please tell me how to get rid from this pop-up.
2. when i try to run USSD code like *123# (check balance of airtel sim card) its not running and gives me the same pop-up. please tell me how to solve this problem.
i went korean samsung service center for firmware update. but the problem is same.
i root my device using towel root and installed supersu pro & busybox pro. still same problem.
what to do.

Ah crap! I just noticed that mine is gone to. It was there showing volte on the taskbar yesterday but now it's gone. Don't suppose you're with Optus by any chance?

Because with new update your CSC reverted back to original CSC that did not support VOLTE....
Hey guys i have taken an unlocked variant of galaxy note 9 in usa before i moved back to india and after coming here i have observed that i cant use features like samsung pay as it asks for a zip code when i enter the card number and not been able to use volte baser carrier. The carrier which i use now sucks but i am forced. My firmware version is n960u1 and after a ton of research i found out that volte will be active in n960u variants. Is there any possible way so that i can flash my rom to the indian version? And people say rooting my phone would do the trick but i dint find any root either. Please help out there should be some way right?
And also a small doubt does the note 9 show bessels

I recently bought a Samsung Galaxy J8 from Australia because I lost my phone there. When I came home to India I found out that the Australian J8 does not support VoLTE (Voice over LTE) but I need VoLTE for my Indian sim card to work. So I went to the Samsung service center but they straight away denied any support since I bought this in another country.
The Indian varient J8 supports VoLTE but the Australian one does not even when both the phones have the exact same hardware. So its a software limitation.
Can anyone suggest any method I can use to install any custom ROM that'll support VoLTE.
I'm willing to install anything, root my phone or whatever it takes since I'm never gonna get any warranty on this. So I might as well try everything else.

Just download Indian firmware from sammobile and flash via odin, that will contain latest modem for your device. It might bring VoLTE, because I think its software problem.

I tried but it won't let me install any other model firmware. My phone's Model Number is SM-J810Y but the phones available in India have model number SM-J810G. So it won't let me install the "G" firmware. I get a failed message.
Do you have any other suggestion?

Did you flash the dual sim firmware onto you single sim phone in the end? If so, what works and what doesn't work? I'm in a similar situation, but the reason why I'm asking is because I want to get VoLTE working in a specific country. The variant of the phone that is sold in that country is the FD variant whereas mine is the F variant - which was purchased in a different country.
