Several times when I have received a phone call, I try to answer it, and the ringing stops, and the caller is sent to voicemail.
I don't think I'm doing it wrong, slide down bar to answer call etc. A friend said it was ringing at his end for about 40 seconds, but i only heard it for about 5?! There have been times where I see my phone light up as a call is coming in, but it doesn't ring, and I can't answer the call. I'm expecting some important calls, and don't want to not answer them.
Could it be that the processor is being overwhelmed, and not allowing me to answer/phone not ring. Or is it a fault with the phone, or me?!
1) I have had similar problems.
2) If you do hear or see it ringing, swiping down on the lower 1/4 of the screen seems to work for me. That is, if I swipe down like I normally do to unlock the screen, it won't answer the call. If I swipe down only on the bottom portion of the screen it works ok.
similar problem here. I wonder if you swipe too big, does it pull the lock screen down, and bump the ignore/send to vmail button somehow. not sure why, but its happening to me and it sucks! missed the last 3 calls today bc of it. makes it hard to run a business thats for sure!
I use a phone service that diverts calls simultaneously to my landline and mobile and my landline often gets 2 or 3 rings in before the Hero's trackball starts to flash (although once yesterday they did both manage to ring at nearly the same time). Some of the delay is the mobile network finding the phone, but the phone does seem to take a long time to respond to the incoming call.
One option is to extend the length of time before calls are diverted to voicemail. At http://www.cellular.co.za/gsm_hash_code.htm is a list of GSM Network Codes, which includes, towards the bottom, one for extending the period before calls go to voicemail. It looks like the maximum is 30 seconds. I don't know if there is an equivalent for non-GSM networks.
I've had my S3 for about a month and 4 times now I've discovered my phone isn't connected to my mobile service provider (Telus in Canada). Notifications will say "No Service" and it means no phone calls, messages or data at random times and it stays that way until I notice it and reboot. There is no logical reason why this should ever happen, I never leave the service area and all the settings for Mobile Network remain set to Telus. When this happens there's no way to fix the connection through settings, have to restart the phone.
I have a second issue that is also very frustrating - whenever I call my voice mail I have to input my passcode. So I place the phone down in my lap, enable the keypad and attempt to enter it. As soon as I touch the keypad the screen often just blanks out and no touch is registered. It's as if a proximity sensor thinks the phone is still by my ear and disables the screen. So this makes it extremely difficult to enter anything via keypad.
Any ideas on what could be causing this no service issue - a faulty phone or could it be related to a bad SIM card?
Try switching your modem.

When i'm working my phone is in my pocket. My pocket frequently rubs on the screen enabling the emergency dialer.
This is often when I'm lifting or moving something and I have to stop what im doing to stop random bleeps coming out of my pocket.
Is there a way to stop this from happening?
Maybe a confirmation to start emergency dialer?
I like the beeps on my keypad when I dial numbers intentionally
I have the Verizon LG G2 and love it. The only problem is that when I'm on a call, my cheek often times unlocks the phone, and does who knows what. I've added contacts, changed my location settings, all with my cheek and all without knowing it unitl after the fact.
I think it's because of the ability to wake/unlock the phone with a double tap. I'm running CM11 on this thing.
Does anyone know how to disable this?
I have a brand new c6806 non GPe.
which I rotted immediately however have not made any changes other than the root itself. I noticed when I get a call in sleep or at the lock screen, it rings and flashes (very briefly not long enough to see whose calling) the incoming call screen then returns to the lock screen. So to see who is calling and answer the call, you have to first enter the lock screen whether it be pin or swipe ect., then answer the call
just wondering if anyone else experienced this and how they solved it
Thanks
I can post a video if need be.
Youtube video has been removed,
problem appears to be something with the live wallpaper not sure what though
