Hello guys I tried to make a Unroot, change the ROM, since it has android 4.2 and I want to update it for compatibility, this htc I bought it used and I was already rooted, I do not know how they did the procedure, I add a photo of the information that comes out when I do The fastboot.
If anyone knows I can do that whenever I try something stays on the white screen of HTC and waited until almost an hour and nothing happens.
tks:fingers-crossed:

From that screen you can't tell if the phone is rooted or not. have you tried going into Recovery mode? The device has obviously had the bootloader unlocked, from this point, you could flash a recovery, assuming the phone doesn't have one, and from there flash a custom ROM (make sure it's for the AT&T version of the phone). Android 4.2 is the newest OS, unless there is custom ROM out there, but I haven't seen one on the XDA forums. Also make sure you are flashing everything correctly.
Alternatively, you could run the RUU to reset the phone to factory specs. You will have to re-lock the bootloader. I have the most recent one somewhere.

Youre already in fastboot mode. Simply follow the instructions for using fastboot to unlock. This is not a hardbrick and is a normal part of unlucking phones on 4.5.91+.

this programe has the fix of your problem. RUN the 'MAIN.bat' in the file. I do not remember its number in the menu but the menu will lead you to solve the problem. It must be 'FIX 105:1:2' or something like that.
Hit the 'thanks' if I helped

read the whole thread. the answer should be there.
I would flash ClockWorkMod as recovery.
http://www.clockworkmod.com/rommanager (search for Atrix 4G)
I prefer the Touch version, much easier to use.
Then just flash with fastboot:
fastboot flash recovery <yourImagePath>.img

Also, check out ePinter's CM10 (not the 10.1, it's not that stable), which you can flash from the new recovery. Don't forget the Google Apps package (install AFTER the main image).

Hello,
First thing I did when I got my phone before even playing with it was unlock the bootloader in fear I would not be able to later on (was so tempting to have the file and not actually unlock it, so i did). Afterwards I realized i did not run the OTA first and i am on firmware 1.26. I am seeing some blurbs here and there with people stating that in order to update the firmware you need to relock your bootloader and than do the OTA, it is not something that would get done by installing a new rom. I am new to HTC, had the nexus before this and everything could not have been easier. Just want to see if I am understanding this correctly, and would it be wise of me to relock my bootloader and than do the ota and than re unlock.
thanks for your help!

I'm fairly certain that isn't true. You just need to wait for someone to post the stock update "rom".
What is the most current firmware?
I did a software update and found nothing earlier today. I'm on 1.26.502.10
I remember seeing in the at&t forums that people were getting an OTA right off the bat, and in the international they have 1.29.401.12.. but maybe I am just being paranoid? I am on same firmware as you.
I'm not worried about it too much. I'm sure to have a custom ROM on this thing sooner rather than later.

I stand corrected. But the way I see it - if you unlocked the BL, you can back it up, then relock it, flash it, and then restore everything.

Why not flash a custom rom now from the international forum? Or just flash stock international rom?
Something in android revolution thread stated that if u have a different firmware version than what they are using u need to wipe data through aroma.. which i understand.. just was curious about running the most up to date firmware and such.. but if that's just for international. Than no biggie. Plan on flashing this afternoon!

What stuff is compatible for our At&t htc one's from the regular htc one forum, and what stuff is incompatible.
Should I treat the bootloader unlocked version of att htc one as the same as the international, or should I only install stuff from the att htc one forum?

Is it safe to flash the firmware updates and is it necessary to say flash the latest version of arhd? I am running ARHD 7.0 with no issues at all, however I did flash the latest radio posted in the international forum, this was prior to learning that there is really no reason to at this point. Attempted to roll back to the backup of the original radio.img that I captured prior to upgrading (just for comparison purposes), however my build number still shows 1.29.401.12. My question is, is the build number derived from the ROM and the baseband version derived from the radio.img?
Correct.
got it, thanks. that explains why my baseband is not changing, its the same radio lol
Have any of you had any issues regarding flashing a rom? I have been reading some of the rom threads and it seems some have issues with Aroma or the rom's flash, however, then they cannot get their phones to boot. I want to flash one but I do not want to have any of those issues, as I already had a problem with recovery.
I sometimes have trouble with aroma with my HTC DNA, which is similar to the One. With me it sometimes freezes if I don't hold the device straight. Why... I have no idea. However, when this does happen I return to recovery via the pwr+vol and redo the process. It doesn't hurt anything for me just takes a bit longer. I've ordered the one and I'm definitely planning on flashing all types of stuff when out gets here Wednesday God willing. Just be sure to backup. That's saved me countless times.

Wait, when you select wipe data in order to flash arhd, doesn't it wipes firmware too?
I mean when you flash arhd that has latest firmware, your baseband still says 1.26 instead of 1.29?
How is that? Confused
So we can flash all the roms and kernels in there thread ?

Currently I'm on a discontinued ROM SkyFall which works fine. I've used xposed to customize to my liking. It's a 1.58.502.1 base rom. What would be the advantages to upgrading to a 4.4.3 rom or higher based rom like Sky Dragon? Will I see enough improvements or additions to warrant the hassle of backing up everything and starting fresh? Any thoughts appreciated. P.S. Only talking about stock roms, not interested in any others.
Well I was using Viper One and missed the feel of my Nexus 5 so I to chose Skydragon and its definitely worth it.here is some pics of the Skydragon version I run and a pic of how small the System is .simple and smooth.

That's the main issue. I've been looking at the international roms but someone mentioned that they don't play well with our radio. Now that 4.4 is out I really want to upgrade my firmware but it looks daunting according to the forums. I really need a good guide to walk me through. I've read a few guides in the international forums but they are a little vague. I'm s-off and could go super cid if needed. Do I just download a firmware off the forums and fastboot flash or is there more to it?

Take a look at the above link. The links created by Skulldreamz...He doesn't have the latest .7 firmware included though. I'm sure he'd be able to help you get it. With these zips (included on the 1st page). The easiest and most hassle way of flashing these firmware zips is naming the zip (0P6BIMG.zip), and flashing while in boot loader mode...you can also remove the contents of other firmware zips. Using a file explorer such as ES or Solid Explorer, delete the recovery .img and boot.img. then rezip the file, rename to 0P6BIMG, and flash in bootloader
---------- Post added at 11:55 PM ---------- Previous post was at 11:48 PM ----------
You should ask skulldreamz about the tmobile firmware he's included in his thread. Skulldreamz removed the recovery.img from those zips (I believe). If you had a custom revovery, then you flashed a firmware zip that hadn't been modified and still contained the recovery.img. you could have unexpected results. If you flash a firmware zip like that you have to fastboot flash another recovery omg after you flash the firmware zip. You're on Tmobile, so it's best to ask skulldreamz,mike1986, or sneakyghost as those guys are more knowledgeable on firmwares
---------- Post added at 11:58 PM ---------- Previous post was at 11:55 PM ----------
Do not flash AT&T firmware on a T-Mobile phone. I do not know if having s_off alone will work. I don't know what would happen, but I'm sure nothing good would happen...ask the guys I mentioned in my previous replies...

Hi all, new here. I’ve been advised to visit here to get support since I’m not familiar with the competency.
I acquired a second hand Samsung Galaxy Tab S5e. It arrived with its bootloader unlocked. Apparently an attempt to install a custom ROM had been trialed but not completed.
I would like now to relock the bootloader cause it‘s preventing some apps to function properly, as a security measure.

Check the version you have on the device at the moment and download stock ROM for your device and flash with odin.
The reason is if you are on pie (Android 9) you can upgrade to (Android 10) but not vice versa.

No. Re-locking the bootloader will cause a "factory reset". If you still haven't found out how, look for the unlocking instructions in the Questions thread. The same instructions work to re-lock.

As mentioned above locking the device will wipe it. Second the device must be entirely factory, restore it with Odin (is likely the best idea). If it is not, you're going to have a bad time. Next I must admit, I've never done this, as I've never had a desire to run factory software... So you've been warned... you're on your own. OEM unlocking must still be enabled. When you go back into the Unlock section (plug in USB, holding all buttons) you should be greeted with a screen but this time asking if you want to lock the boot loader. Note, Knox will still be tripped even if you lock the bootloader. At least that is my understanding, so you will not be entirely stock, and certain apps still will not work (payment apps).
Personally if it were me I'd say you're almost better off trying a custom ROM like Lineage, and use a custom fingerprint so the device comes up as certified. I don't have any apps that don't work. However I guess it all depends on your use case. Remember locking your bootloader is risky.
