You can get KDZ files for almost all H850 devices at https://lg-firmwares.com/lg-h850-firmwares/

http://downloads.codefi.re/autoprime/LG/LG_G5/H850/ and here they keep it updated regularly and it's super easy to download!

You're absolutely correct about autoprime's link to codefire, but it only offers the OPEN_EU_OP versions of the H850 firmware. If someone is looking for a KDZ file that is specific to his H850, https://lg-firmwares.com/lg-h850-firmwares/ gives you pretty much everything that's out there. My H850 runs the EEE GB/United Kingdom firmware, and I can choose from three KDZ files for that model at lg-firmwares.com.

Let's put all the information that we are going to about news of the arrival of nouga

So far we all know that the only country with possibility and arrival of the update of Android 7 is South Korean, country of origin of LG. In the official notice warned that in the coming weeks we were going to receive the different countries the update to nougat. If you think it would be useful to notify the news of the arrival of nougat to our respective countries giving the ppsible information that we are having in this regard.
Yes but I think you should move this thread to the News, Guide, and Discussions, but still yes we should.
10 days passed still not started in Europe. LG is sleeping?
LG is dying and so are we
People with sprint lg g5 report that they are getting updated to nougat.
LG said other markets are coming in the upcoming WEEKS, so dont expect it before end of December or Jan/Feb 2017. I dont get how they just can release one image and let Android handle the language...
Finally Firmware Lg G5 V20 Android 7.0 Nougat has arrived in Spain, I am downloading the update as soon as I can say something about the first impressions ...
Nougat in title.
South Korea not South Korean.

There's already plenty of threads discussing the rollout of Oreo updates... Why not look before starting a new thread?
https://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=3761507
But the answer is no. If it were, a KDZ would be posted down in development.

Belgium - Proximus
Did you try to update the version of LG Bridge itself already? My version is 1.2.42
There is H93020D update available. It's 2.94GB and the download speed its really slow... Approx. 49 minutes left :/

Updates can vary from country to country or they could only appear to specific users at first to not colapse the servers.
If there is a problem referred to phone verification could be due to the servers or could be some problem with your computer. You can try to unistall LG Bridge, drivers and temporal files to make sure of that.

You have to wait for new recovery. TWRP needs Oreo kernel:
SGCMarkus said:
You both need a new Recovery image, had the same problem.
Will post mine tomorrow (after i made it smaller, as it contains the stock kernel + exfat driver atm, lot of useless stuff for twrp lol)
The oreo firmware seems to be rather picky, and doesnt wanna bit a nougat kernel (which our twrp is based on) [emoji848]

LGV30 Plus Oreo and S/N question

Hi, newbie here so please bear with me. I have bought a LGV30 plus (H930DS) via ebay. I know its not available here in the UK and isn't supported via local warranties etc. My 2 questions are:
1) Why isn't there a S/N - serial number, displayed in the about phone section of the phone ? its just blank! although both IMEI numbers are available.
2) I still haven't got Oreo, is this because its a HK version of the phone and it wont be pushed out to the UK (OTA) ? I've tried the LG Bridge app and it fails on several reasons (cant see phone etc)
Thanks in advance

No, you didn't. You used LG Bridge.
LGUP won't give you any such message.
I said to use LGUP -- to manually update it with KDZ available here in the forum.
I'm telling you how to fix your problem.
Here's the HK Oreo KDZ:
[H930DS][STOCK][OREO]LG V30+ Hong Kong HH93020DS

You would use "upgrade" in LGUP.

No, doesn't matter. All H930DS have the same bands.
You could even flash the European H930 Oreo KDZ, and it would still work. It would keep your same H930DS modem bands, dual SIM functionality, but you would have Oreo.
Many have done it.

No, I do not know. It should be on your retail box, however.
---------- Post added at 07:26 AM ---------- Previous post was at 07:12 AM ----------
NOTE: If you use "upgrade", all your data stays, all apps stay, all pictures stay.
But if you use "refurbish" it does wipe the phone.
You probably want upgrade.

Go into download mode BEFORE opening the patched LGUP.
If a desktop, best to use a port on the back of the computer (one attached directly to the motherboard).
Try different cable.
Try different computer.
Make sure LGUP is installed in the right folder (LG Electronics).

No, this actually would be the first step to get root of you wanted that. You need to be on Oreo with fastboot flash commands.
For the SN part, I had same experience on my previous Galaxy S7, which was from eBay.
Mine was seller refurb, I forgot the seller name but it was Q something.
The SN was 00000000 for that phone.
I used it without any problem, but feels not great.
Yours might be the same thing, they did something on your phone.

This link is for US997U (G6+ model) as you can see in the file name of the kdz, and it takes you to the US997U download page. This thread is specific for US997.
After searching around on that site I find it interesting that 21a is not on the US997 list, and that 21b is listed for other regions but not specifically for USA. Have you installed any of the 21b files from that website?
