You either need your stock rom with the huawei flash tool (whatever they use) or you flash a custom rom with twrp, which should be easy to find on your device specific forum (section android development)
Good luck

[Q] MIUI V5 4.8.27: Stuck at boot

I recently flashed my Lenovo P780 which was running 4.4.2 to MIUI V5 4.8.27 ROM using the guideline mentioned in this thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/len...iui-v5-4-6-2-jb-4-2-lenovo-p780-dual-t2795361
I also used the recovery image mentioned this thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/lenovo-p780/help/rooting-tutorial-kitkat-t2835605 using mobileuncle.
I followed every step mentioned in the thread and flashed the rom. Now my device is booting but is stuck at boot. All I can see is MI.com logo. It is stuck like this for more than 30 mins.
I am unable to go back to recovery mode also. I don't know what to do. Please someone help!!
Ok. I solved the issue. Since I flashed the ROM when my Lenovo was running stock kitkat 4.4.2, the MIUI was stuck in bootloop.
What I did was I reflashed my P780 with LIFE ROM V7 using Flashtool. Then I flashed MIUI using TWRP. Now it works fine.

Yes, I also did the same thing. Life ROM is Savior with TWRP recovery built in. Whenever, I had a wrong flash and my mobile is dead, I returned to this by flashing with SP Tools, boot straight into TWRP and then restored my previous working ROM or tried flashing another ROM.
Welcome to MIUI world. I am sure you will enjoy this ROM. Go for OTA update to 4.8.30 which worked like breeze for me. Try the Android V5 Dark theme. You will love it.

Oh! I was going to ask whether OTA update to 4.8.30 was safe. Thanks for letting me know.
My lenovo softbricked after I tried to OTA update MIUI 4.8.27. Then, as you guys said, I installed Life Rom V7 and when I tried installing either MIUI 4.6 and 4.8.27 through TWRP, Roms got installed without any boot issue but I couldn't open any of the apps, even system apps like Dialer and File Explorer. Any suggestions? I would really love to go back to MIUI. May be there is a way to repack it and install through Flashtool?

Soooo... MIUI is for Jelly Bean not for KITKAT.
DO NOT FLASH OVER KITKAT.
IF YOU FLASH OVER KITKAT YOU WILL HAVE ALOT OF PROBLEMS LIKE: YOUR SD CARD WILL NOT WORK(THIS IS THE SMALLEST PROBLEM), BOOTLOOP,BOOTLOADER CORUPTED, ETC ETC.
SO BE WARNED...
If you want to test MIUI do this:
1. Flash stock s124 ROM;
2. Download Framaroot and root your phone;
3. Install Mobileuncle Tools;
4. Get TWRP 2.6.3.0 no other;
5. Flash TWRP with Mobileuncle Tools;
6. Download MIUI and put it in your phone SD Card;
7. Install from market Reboot Manager, give root right and reboot to recovery;
8. From SD Card flash MIUI wipe cache dalvik etc etc;
9. reboot and voila MIUI.
10 Good Luck.

Hello everybody, I have a huge problem !
I have a rooted honor 7 and I tried to install xposed framework by flashing the zip, but guess what, It didn't work so it got stuck on TWRP, I flashed the uninstaller but, even after reboot, I'm still stuck on TWRP...

What ROM are you in?
@Kwapy: Hello, if you don't care about data then you should perform a full update to stock ROM.
You can do that by first flashing all the .img files from the full UPDATE.APP same as the previous version of your firmware, then putting that UPDATE.APP in dload folder in ext sdcard and doing a three button combo update.

P9000 Lite with CM13 - Trying to flash TWRP, bricks my phone.

Hello everyone,
I'm trying to flash TWRP because I want to make a backup of my phone, because I need to do a factory reset. And I need to do a factory reset because Wifi and Bluetooth aren't working...
So I installed the necessary driver for Windows 10, downloaded TWRP and when I flash it with Flash Tool, I actually get the message saying "Download OK"...but in reality, my phone doesn't boot at all. So I have to do this thing where you unplug your battery and flash it again (I don't flash a full ROM, just click on Download again while the Scatter file for TWRP is still selected). This is what happens every time I tried to install TWRP. On top of that, it seems like I have no recovery whatsoever now!
What am I doing wrong? I've already read from somebody in the thread for TWRP that he/she got it to work with CM13, so the issue can't be that I'm using CM13.
Do you really use TWRP for P9000 Lite or do you use TWRP for P9000 normal Version??
Nono, it's the Lite version.
This one https://forum.xda-developers.com/el...ent/recovery-twrp-3-0-2-1-p9000-lite-t3366126
The only other Version I can find is this:
http://www.needrom.com/download/p9000-lite-twrp-3-0-0/
I don't know if this helps you
Nope, that didn't work either.
Oh well...I've just flashed a Stock-ROM with a recovery that lets me flash CM13 again. I used Titanium to make backups of my apps. Wifi and Bluetooth still don't work but that doesn't belong in this thread.
Thank you though.

Huawei p9 lite Rom and Root help

Hi all,
I have a problem with my phone and I have no idea what to do now.
I am quite new to rooting, I am sorry if I say something stupid.
But anyway, I was having some fun with my working huawei untill I found out about root.
I went to my laptop and rooted my phone, installed superSU and installed this custom recovery twrp thingy.
Everything worked great untill I chose to install a custom rom (LineageOS 14.1).
Me being stupid without making a backup going to this twrp and wiping everything (wipe > advanced wipe > select everything) and after this install lineage OS from my sd card.
Which failed (dont know why) but I went on google and tried every single thing which didnt work for me.
So now I am stuck with a phone (huawei p9 lite vns-l31 dual sim) without a OS installed and I have no idea what to do.
Can anyone help me with installing my stock rom or a custom rom or any rom which works so I can at least use my phone?
I dont care what kind of rom (ofcourse I prefer Lineage Os) but any rom is ok, I just want and need to use my phone.
Extra information :
No I didnt remove fingerprint (red this on internet)
I had emui 5 (android 7)
Erecovery does not factory reset my device.
Hisuite does not reset my device too.
I dont have any software or roms or firmware (except fastboot/adb)
I can acces Fastboot and Twrp (v3.1.1-0) on my phone.
It just does not boot....
Though I learned that I from now on always make a backup.
Thank you in advance.
Does somebody have any idea what I have to do now?
Phone is still not working....

Stuck in mi logo screen after installing supersu

I had unlocked bootloader and installed twrp on my device. But after flashing supersu my phone is not booting anymore. It gets stuck on the second mi logo screen (the screen with 'powered by android' caption). After going through similar posts here, I tried flashing unSu and boot.img, but neither methods worked. My device is Redmi Note 4 SD running stable MIUI 9.5 global rom. My data is backed up so I dont mind losing it, just need the phone to boot up. Any help is greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance.
You need to flash lazyflasher after installing TWRP to prevent bootloop if you are using MIUI. https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=529152257862700328
Also nobody is using SuperSU these days, stick with Magisk as root solution.
