I want to modify the chompsms app but when ever i convert the xml to a readable one and convert it back after compiling it it wont install on my phone. Why is this?
I downloaded a theme didnt like it so im flashing a back to stock .zip file...
I opened HtcClockWidget.apk and in it are a few folders some with xml files some with png files.
if I change(the color of a) png file using photoshop and save it back in the folder the same format. would i see the change when i flash the .zip file
example: i open this .png file....and replace it with the red one. Would i see the change when i flash back?
Hello friends, i'm wondering if i can use the animated logo (while starting the phone) in some of the rom it has a cool animated picture, can i use it as a wallpaper for the phone?
and if it is possible..where can i find the file on the device so i can select it ?
thanx alot
have a gr8 day
you can use any moving gif image with some program from the market called
https://market.android.com/details?id=com.direxar.animgiflivewallpaper2&hl=el
or any similar program
but the bootanimation ist only a group of pictures (*.png)... so i think its not so easy to use it for livewallpaper.
bootanimation.zip shall be found in system/media or system/customize/resource/
Bootanimation is located in /system/media/ as zip file. Copy this bootanimation.zip file to your PC and extract it. You will get a few png files. Rename these png files to 1.png, 2.png, 3.png, 4.png... Copy these renamed files to SD card, for example to sdcard://mylivewp folder.
Install from market LWP Creator and in the LWP Creator set the folder path to sdcard://mylivewp.
okay, i don't know that it is so easy... thanks!
thx it's really cool
i've just fund an app, which allows you to use a bootanimation as a wallpaper...

For example, Simple Text icon apps tell me to place custom fonts in that app's /font folder. But I don't see anywhere to obtain ttf files for android, just websites that tell me to install apk files. where do I get ttf's?
edit: nvm, I didn't know I could use regular windows ttf's on an android phone
Do you think that replacing the "Lgsmartgothic-bold.ttf" file with another file. Ttf and rename it "Lgsmartgothic-bold.ttf" will change the font?
