Mine's a lot of bull**** after this haha. Thanks for the kernel, I'll be testing it.
Just installed on the latest Lineage build and it's working great. One question though, what does "Arch Power" mean? I can't find anything about it on Google
Any hope to get MIUI8 for our device??
This work on stock MM?

Arch Power patch causes arch dependent power functions to be used instead of generic high resolution timer ticks and double ticks. It reduces power consumption

I haven't been able to test in on MM. But since it's based on squid kernel, it should in theory work on MM too
Is anyone else facing heating issues while charging? I'm on the latest build of LineageOS and with the kernel the phone heats alot while charging.

I mean mines in a case, but I don't feel it getting warm at all from charging. Are you charging over USB or AC?

I'm using an AC charger meant for a dock for the Droid X (ancient smartphone) and I have no heating problems at all. Try switching the cable/charger and see what that does

Used the stock one again and now it's heating much less even though it's more than normal. Probably some processes in the background made it heat up.

It all depends on what developer wants to port over MIUI. It's quite the asked question on here, but things take some time.
Running fine under RR here - no problems, good batterie n super performance,
Well done - Thanx a lot!

MM Tesla was a rom with a very good battery life on the onyx and I heard Tesla N is extremly battery friendly on OP3. Maybe they have some draining bugs. I haven't time to try it (I'm on MM Validus)
edit:
If you have free time, try a custom kernel and report the battery life here

I was on Arsenic Kernel. I dont know why, but every 7.0 ROM has bad battery life on my phone. I tried CM14 by Sarthak, F-AOSP and Tesla N
Edit: I tried Stock Kernel on Tesla N and it was even worse.

Try Validus N or Tesla N. Both without bugs and very stable
Tesla N OMS 7.1.1 https://plus.google.com/+martincoulon/posts/HARzVbTK4EU
Validus 7.1.1 https://plus.google.com/+martincoulon/posts/HFPesmyHs9W
I have been use Slim7 alpha for past week, I think it's pretty good..
After compiling roms for a couple devices and learning about the android rom, i have decided to dabble in the arts
of kernel compiling, i started with my main device the Nexus 6p, learnt a fair bit compiling kernels for it, so i decided to
come back to this device for testing purposes and trying to test and go back to ARM device which is completely different.
Now with the Nexus device i went full updated linux kernel first then gave updates, but this time ill be doing something a little
different, i will upstream some kernel updates, plus caf updates then i will give a release, or for example, the first realease i will
give you guys will be 3.4.2 kernel version, just to get things going, then next release will be a higher version.
I hope all of you like it i will be adding alot of stuff in the coming months.
All releases will keep up to date and working with latest CM roms
Here is the download link just click on the kernel and it will download

Ok so stock stock kernel you get with stock rom or even custom like CyanogenMod/lineageos has a kernel version of 3.4, each incremental update after that eg 3.4.1 or even 3.4.100 has many fixes and updates within the kernel, some do nothing for our device but others can, a small code change in one file can impact the way the kernel works

Well I'm running latest lineageos and I have never had it reboot on me. Are you using any kernel manager apps at all, as I haven't been able to add and customisation to it just it. It may panic because it's reaching for something it doesn't have
No reboots here either,
Im running the latest official Lineage .
if u have kernel mod or any other kernel tuner installed try to go back to your basic settings or just delete the app and install it again after your first boot.
Really smooth kernel !
Hi... Can you had the savoca Patch to use with Wheatstone.apk? Can use my phone without it

Why do YOU want it in enforcing mode?
Now, stock ROM is MIUI 10.2, but its security patch is... from 2017.04.01 !!![emoji33][emoji33][emoji33] Why is it so?
Is there any other option than changing ROM to update security patch? Because it seems any ROM is 100% reliable or, if it is, later updates lead it astray.
Dotos 3.0 pie es ver y good, and i dont change ROM, the sound spekeer is excelent, i dont find other ROM whit this sound speker, also find suport exfat, but any result.

This is a kernel, based on androidlover5842's kernel, which is based on CM11 kernel, which is based on Android kernel, which is based on linux kernel.
This is the same androidlover5842's kernel, compiled with much newer GCC 7
- GCC 7.3.0 (armv7-eabihf--musl--bleeding-edge)
- GPU overclock disabled because it will drain your battery
- read ahead restricted because you have low ram
- disabled a lot of cpu governors and hotpluggers because you have low ram
- disabled a lot of USB drivers, ext2/3 drivers, media drivers, debuggers, tracers, PS2, Keyboard drivers, PCMCIA drivers, modem drivers, GPU drivers, because you have low ram
- added MY hotplugger that will really DISABLE cores (you have 4) to save battery whenever possible, screen being ON or OFF
Faster overall system, no tweaks needed, just install via your recovery on top of any CM11-based ROM!
