How to move data from Parallel Space to original App? - Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I am using Parallel Space app in Android.
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.lbe.parallel.intl&hl=en
The purpose of this app is to allow dual account creation. Thus, I am able to use two different WhatsApp accounts on a single device, wherein one account is on Whatsapp app and second account is on emulated Whatsapp via Parallel Space app.
Now I want to switch the data from Parallel Space Whatsapp to originial Whatsapp on another device.
Is there a way to backup the Whatsapp account stored in Parallel space and copy it to original whatsapp app? Or else what all file do I need to copy from Parallel Space to original whatsapp?
Previously I tried using Titanium Backup but all I was able to do is to move Whatsapp.apk and Parallel Space.apk to newer device with the accounts.
I wish to discontinue using ParallelSpace and use Whatsapp instead.
Since, I am not having the registered mobile number stored on Parallel Space account, I cannot simply create a new account.

Move your backup from parallel space virtual account to new mobile real physical acco
@anuragkanase
Go in your parallel space whatsapp account create a chat backup on google drive.
Now put the sim card in your new mobile where you want to use real physical whatsapp without parallel space and then make sure the phone is connected to internet when you install whatspp on new phone.
Put the number and regester on whatsapp now it will ask you to restore backup, select the option of google drive.. now you will have a real physical account with all your data, chat history, and also all contacts intact..
Hope this helps..
Feel free to reply back.

Need a Backup-Restore program 4 Contacts...

Hi Friends,
I am having a serious problem with contacts syncing, backup-restore...
I like trying new build android OSs & therefore I need a backup-restore application for contacts, but I can not get a perfect solution up to now...
Even gmail syncing is a disaster for me.. I don't know which way is main, phone or gmail contacts? Sometimes it is bullshitting, syncing but not all groups, no sync for photos of contacts...
My experiences:
1- MyBackupPro-v3.8: Sometimes not restoring groups, & very very slow restore
2- SpriteBackup-v2.5.0.188: Sometimes not restoring groups, & very very slow restore
3- ContactsBackupPro-v2.5.4: Restoring groups but adding " character on contacts which are not having anything on Notes section & put themon a new group "
4- Some others are having problem as restoring contact numbers; ie, I am saving my contacts as a +XX YYY ZZZ ZZZZ format, but they are restoring contacts with +XXYYYZZZZZZZ format... & some of them are not restoring saved photos for contacts.
5- PC based backup-restore: Wondershare MobileGo-v1.1.0.111 is backing up, but with destroying the number format as I've just told...
Anyway, is there any contacts backup-restore program that allows you to (correctly) do restore groups + number format + without adding anything?
Finally, I met with android with MIUI, & I miss the Backup program of MIUI's own backup application, it was very perfect.
No advice at all!!
You might want to try manually doing my making a .csv file and importing and exporting to the phone.
In my opinion, people that say that GMail conmtact sync is not working they haven't set it up right...

Thank you but I tried that also, photos are not backed up that way.
Have you tried the actual contacts app import/export? I'm not sure what info is saved by this method but I was assume it'd be a full backup.
Also, this is somewhat related so I just want to mention...
on Wednesday the Google server went wacky and I lost about 3/4 of my contacts from the cloud. I went crazy trying to find a fix but nothing... then I got onto Gmail from the desktop. There is a contacts restore feature, to any time from the past 30 days. I just went to restore to Tuesday, and everything was back. Saved me!
Like amnigo said try the built in import/export function. You can find it from the contacts app menu.
Also the problem you stated about '+XX YYY ZZZ ZZZZ format, but they are restoring contacts with +XXYYYZZZZZZZ format' you should be able to use this Contacts Clean-up (I can't liunk it since I'm a new user so search for it in the android market) I had the same type of problem too and managed to fix it with this.
Try this
Am using this and works well

Hey, can anyone tell me any app that makes contacts backup with all the high quality images in the ics contacts, i tried a lotta apps and import/export and the gmail sync but the picture quality is reduced in those

I know this & tried as well, but as you said, it changes the format & contacts clean-up sometimes does not work (may be some interfere with the rom build, I don't know!)

Moving between Android phones? How do I do it?

Hello,
I need some insights from Android users...
I was wondering...
WIth my iPhone, I have my iTunes full backup. If I upgrade my phone to a new one, I just connect my old phone to the Macbook, do a full backup, connect the new phone, do a full restore, and my new phone has everything there.
My contacts, SMS messages, Settings, Pictures, Camera Roll, Apps, App data like save games and progress on games, you get it.
How is it on android?
Suppose I have a Galaxy S4 I have been using for a few months. I have it set up, I have SMS messages on it, data, emails, I have 80% of angry birds complete, I have 2000 pictures on my camera roll, i have some MP3 music...
Then I upgrade to a Note 3. Is there a way to transfer all my data to the new android without losing it? Like I can on Apple?
Thanks for your insight.
Cheers!

Download Rom toolbox from the store, when installed go to the Apps Admin module of Toolbox, then swipe to right and you will find the backup module; there try the backup phone data option and it will show you the different backup options it do, when it finishes, return to the main page of Apps Admin module, and press the menu key to show the preferences of the toolbox app, and there will show you the carpet in your phone where the backup is.
To restore it on the new phone you have to install the Toolbox app in it first, then check in which folder the backup is going to be stored, so you have to copy the folder of the old phone into that exact location of the new phone, so you can do a restore of it in Toolbox app. Sorry for my English but is not my first language, this is the best method I know, there could be others. cheers

with the apps as he mentioned you can try rom tool box or any apps like that and for message contacts etc you can use kies for Samsung or softwares like that google
For contacts and email I have them on my Google account so they will automatically sync to the new device. For texts I use SMS Backup & Restore and back them up to my SD card. I keep pictures and music on my SD card so I just move the card over to the new device. But many devices don't have SD cards these days so you could just plug both phones into a computer and copy/paste files from the old phone over to the new one.
For app data you'll have to be rooted and I use Titanium backup. It can either backup to the SD card or sync to a cloud account.

Hello
I need to restore my phone contacts and i'm looking for a program with which to read all phone memory - especially the "free memory".
Phone operating system has been installed in service, but have not saved contacts before, so I need your help.
Thanks

It's hard for me to understand what you mean but let me guess, you have changed devices and you want to restore your contacts from your previous device to this device.
Method One - Google (If your previous phone is a smartphone with android)
Log into your Google account on your old device. Go to Settings, look for the "Accounts" section. Select Google. Once in the new window. Select your account (usually displayed as an email).
Open it, and and touch "Contacts" wait for it to sync. Once done. Log into your Google account from the DX and do to settings look for accounts. Open Google. Open your account. And select "contacts" it should sync every contact from the old device to your new one.
Method two - sim card.
Simply go into contacts in your old phone (make sure your sim is in there) mark all contacts and save it to sim.
Take sim out and insert in DX, go to contacts, and import the contacts from sim.
To see all your free memory. Go to settings>storage.

I was not very explicit, so i'm back with clarifications:
- my phone, a HTC Desire X, had problems with screen and I went to the service;
- before that, I sync contacts with gmail account, but I didn't copied more than 500 contacts from 2000 and I saw this only after I took the phone from the service;
- the service has changed the screen and reinstalled the operating system Android 4.1.1, so I can not see contacts;
- I restored the phone book - only 500 contacts from gmail and for the rest I need a program to read the memory of the phone which now appears to be free;
- I tried with wondershare dr. fone for android but it didn't work. I think I need a program wich "read the memory", not "restore the memory".
Thanks again

The memory doesn't "seem" free, it IS free. Your contacts are not stored in any special place, they are stored along with your other settings on your android data partion, the one they would've wiped. Due to the nature of the ext4 filesystem it's not even worth it to try and recover them (I've had experience with this before , just a bunch of hashes). It's vital to always check the validity of backups before going through anything that may destroy the original data. Sorry.
I ask you again
Hello
Thanks for the advice. I will listen them in the future, but now we have to put right what was wrong.
I need a program to read phone memory byte by byte. I interpret the information myself if I have something to interpret!
Thanks
Try using dd to backup the partition of phone memory, use cat /proc/emmc first to determine it.

Related to Mi Second Space

Hi,
I read some articles for Mi Second Space. And I found, like multiple account in Windows Computer, multiple accounts can be created using Second Space in Mi with different apps, photos, files and settings. Also apps, photos and files can be imported from main space.
I have following queriesrelated to Mi Second Space:
Without using Second Space, wecan use two accounts using Dual-account in Mi. After setting up Second Space, can I use two another accounts? As an example, if I am using two whatsapp in Mi,can I use four whatsapp accounts after setting up Second Space?
How many Second Spaces can becreated in MIUI 9 and MIUI 9.5?
Common folders in androidphones are Download, DCIM, Whatsapp, Android, Bluetooth, Movies, Music,Pictures, etc. After setting up Second Space, if I use Whatsapp in Second Spacealso, will there be all separate folders for Download, data, DCIM, Whatsapp,Android, Bluetooth, Movies, Music, Pictures, etc.?
In case of deleting SecondSpace, will data associated with Second Space deleted from device?
Please resolve my above queries.

Full backup

I am sending my phone tomorrow to Huawei due the gluegate issue. They will send me a new phone in a week's time. I wonder how can I do a full backup of my phone. Apps, messages, photos etc. I tried Hisuite using my macbook pro but I only have an option to send files.
Tnx in advance!
I use super backup free app from play store.
Unless rooted it won't save app data but will save apk
It will save Apk's, SMS, contacts, you can send backup to Google drive or save to nano card if you have 1.
For photos I would suggest using Google photo to save to Google drive (it doesn't count towards data stored) I use it and have over 27gig worth if photos and videos.
Thank you.
