I'm afraid about the official lollipop upgrade/update or anything from samsung. I think this device won't get lollipop update, but i want to install custom rom like cm12 or etc....but i can't find custom things for this phone. I think this thing is terrible! But some forums says some of Ace 4 variants get lollipop update/upgrade or whatever.....

Robin, i think all of that is rumors by now. And i think we should do something ourselves becouse most of rom developers only focuses on high end or recently released devices, leaving us to dust. That rom port program you talked about the other day seems the only way for us to go, but sadly we have to wait for a new release of it here in xda. We can work together on that and cooperate with each other with information trade on our hardware specs and bug reports as soon as the rom port thing is released.

No progress for the moment. My helper got a problem.

I already bricked my phone twice, I recovered it with flashtool...I will make a thread on how to unbrick as soon as I have some free time

Someone from my team is working on twrp on stock, I only focus on roms coz thats what I like to do. I will try to build cm12.1 after aosp. Because I saw many people voted for cm12.1, and not for CodeR0M
My rom build is going pretty well now, the kernel is done at least. Lets see if it finishes with success

i can't wait for this, i wouldn't mind testing it.. i haven't really moved up to 7.0 yet, due to the problems i have seen on the forums, but if you can make one that is stable and fix out the bugs, i'm in.

Android 7.0 on this device is ok. It's quite stable and now has less bugs, almost none. Install the latest update or firmware

Alright then, i just like custom roms as well , sometimes they can do better. I haven't update to 7 , due what was going on and i always check to forums to make sure, to see if there is any bugs with the newest update, etc.

It would be cool if there would be a rom with android stock for this device. Official lineages os roms would be awesome. But i like most the google pixel stock android theme with blue and gray colors

How wrong you can not have aosp work, even with cm11 this tablet would be great!
Years ago, I was in the small group of sub77 and ctxc who were the ones who managed to construct the first versions of cm11 and cm12.1, although with the errors that you already know.
Even I still have the telegram group where we were three trying to get to work
Anyway, maybe try your new rom based on stock, although the tablet today is my girlfriend haha

Only thing of TW is TW Framework. I tried taking that out but the ROM would not boot without it.
What errors? Is this worth downloading? And so it looks like tw still not cm? because of the framework

Version 1.0 is worth downloading. 1.1 is not coming out, it said something like com.google.android.gapps has stopped. Or something like that. The errors was in 1.1

Yes, sorry, I haven't used xposed since almost 2 years, so I forgot.

In its present state, lineage os is actually laggier than touchwiz. I am sure once the op tweaks it, it will be perfect. It really is in beta stage right now. Just a matter of time though before tw is gone from my tab for good.
