Thanks Man! This is damn good. :good:
It will be awesome if you merge/port all fixes of lineage 14.1 to lineage 13 ROM. (Actually. I didn't check till now, will check later)
Now it will be great if you build other ROM (aicp, aokp , RR, pac based on M).
:good:
Nice indeed.
MM based roms are known to be easier on the battery, without some of the bugs of N.
MIUI8 is one of them.
BlueReptile also tried a little with MM builds.
Keep up the good work.

The same way the auto brightness works when light changes, but it increases and decreases brightness regardless of light changes.

No it is not, it has the same bugs as the old CM roms had. Bugs such as this brightness issue, broken notification sound. I haven't tested it further. I went back to M8 after I heard the first cracking sound at notifications.

I started working on CyanogenMod 12.1 back at the 1st of Setember 2015. I took my time, alternating with real life things and other projects, and I finally came up with a reliable and fully stable build. It's all my work, and it has nothing to do with other CyanogenMod ROMs that you can find for Moto X Play. Instead for basing myself on other devices I directly fetched the latest CAF MSM8916 (MSM8916_32) device tree and worked out this new device from scratch thanks to the latest Motorola firmwares. It also use a lite and updated kernel.

This uses a different device tree based directly off the CAF MSM8916_32 branch, whereas Squid uses an adapted Osprey/Surnia/Condor/so on tree. Also, this build uses the stock Motorola kernel with a few minor changes.

Anyone using this ROM? Any issues?
Not sure is it stability of R8 or developer skill set .I am testing all the ROM which is published in recent past and found this ROM so far most stable and with excellent SOT . Found some other ROM come out with R8, if they do perform at par with same bench marks this all credits to R8 else kudos to decent job from developers

Reporting Bugs
DO NOT Report bugs if you're running a custom kernel or you installed Xposed
Grab a logcat right after the problem has occurred. (Please include at least a few pages of the log, not just the last few lines, unless you know what you're doing.)
If it is a random reboot, grab dmesg . (Do not bother getting a logcat unless you can get it just before the reboot. A logcat after a reboot is useless)
If the problem disappears after running "setenforce 0" from a root shell, grab /data/misc/audit/audit.log
Remember to provide as much info as possible. The more info you provide, the more likely that the bug will be solved. Please also do not report known issues.
Frequently Asked Questions:
Q) Where are Developer options?
A) Go to Settings > About phone, and press five times on Build number.
Q) How can I enable root access?
A) Go to Settings > Developer options > Root access, and enable it for apps, adb or both.
Q) I don't like superuser icon in statusbar, can I install SuperSU?
A) Yes, that would not show superuser icon in statusbar. This can break things.
Q) How do I update GApps? (Also useful if you have GApps related problems).
A) Reboot to recovery. Wipe System, Cache and Dalvik Cache. Install ROM + GApps. (Yes, without rebooting). Reboot.

Wow! I don't even (yet) have view and I'm really excited of Treble's new world of possibilities! Only thing that bothers me with view 10 is lack of always on display feature

View 10 has an LCD, so it would be a bad idea to enable it. If you REALLY wanted to, you could do it though.
This is going on my Mate 10 tomorrow! Awesome!

LG G5 has an lcd too, and It has almost zero effect on battery life. But LG's quality control is driving me nuts.. Like Ive had 3 different LG G5's that's started to have screen retention problem within 2 months and in 3-5 months screen discoloration problems has started.. So yeah And I'm now looking for open phone with microsd card and headphone jack.
Will test it on Redmi Note 4. Hope it's working flawless on non kirin treble.

Haven't given it a full charge yet. But so far, very very good. I'll report tomorrow after a full charge and a day's use.

Initial impressions very snappy and bug free
UI looks awesome and every customisation required is found.
Sure daily driver material but have to check battery life.
Nice stable rom battery life is great keep up the good work.
Not have option for ram in recents and icons size in Quick settings example: 6 retancle 5 landscape
Excelent ROM, but i'm having issues with muy signal, one minute is at 100% and after goes to 0% over and over, also they camera with low light sucks.
