Hello all,
As maybe some know, Adobe's Flash player in Android has a feature. The object doesn't activate if it is not in focus (or maybe touched?). This seems to be a security or battery performance related improvement as Adobe puts it.. However, it is really annoying.. Because;
You can't listen to most of the radio stations, or playlists even, if you send them to background. I love to listen to some of my favorite music while reading the daily news.. As many other have pointed out in the following threads:
Thread ID: 854896, 672639, 543354, 489142
I am writing this question here, as this is an Android Flash player implementation issue and this behaviour is by design. There may be many ways to modify the Flash player, or modify the browser to make the Flash Player act as if it is in the foreground even if it is not..
So can anyone work on this? Or maybe we can submit some kind of CR to CyanogenMod issue list? Better yet, how can we submit this problem to Adobe's developers/designers?
Or maybe a hacker has already read this and has solved it already
Thanks a lot..
Maybe this works on other (Sense?) phones, but I know this worked on my 3.29 stock rooted Evo. In the browser you can hit menu > windows and then open a new window, and then close the new window. Now you will still be in the windows view, but are "hovering" above the window you have your Flash content in. Now you should be able to hit the home button and do other things.
I would suggest just using a real music player/radio app.....

x2... I think most, (if not all) standalone music/radio apps will run happily along in the background.

True, but most (if not all) standalone music/radio apps won't play arbitrary flash content online.
I know somebody who likes to listen to a particular TV program, and typically networks only make these available via flash. I'm sure if he works at it he can extract the audio on a computer or find it on a torrent or something, but it would be nice if this were at least an option.
Of course, compared to a normal app I imagine it would suck down a lot more power.
I've found a way to have a Flash webpage running on the background without needing to hack Flash Player on ICS. I stumbled across an unadvertised "feature" of the Dual Screen Browser app by Curry Cat v2.1.
All you have to do is launch the Dual Screen browser, do a google search for the flash web page you want, and once the audio starts playing just hit the OS Home button and the audio keeps playing in the background. It blew my mind.
The device I got this working on is a stock ASUS Transformer TF101 w/ ICS (v4.0.3)
Dual Screen Browser has a bunch of FC and seems to be heavily reliant on the stock browser some how. If you get FC when trying to launch it try the following:
Open stock Browser, press OS Home button, then relaunch Dual Screen Browser
Turn internet connection off, then relaunch Dual Screen Browser
Dual Screen Browser appears to be better optimized for flash/html5 video playback in portrait mode. I had two flash videos playing at the same time on each screen without much of a performance hit.
When in landscape mode pick the left most screen. It plays movies better without cutting off part of it.

Wow, I even forgot that I asked this question. But your solution seems very promising. Well, I'd still like to see HTML5 work in the background to (for the obvious reason that I want to play a youtube playlist while screen off ) Well if I'd have to install a separate app, I think there are other players that does this already.
Thanks anyways.. (Sorry for the late response)
I am using "nextvid" to play youtube videos on the backgroud, no need for hacking it does it by default( free app)

Topic: Audio Problems and Solutions
For testing purposes, I will be using CM7 as the ROM for testing; although stated throughout I have not had the audio issues others are stating unless noted why(HEAVY USAGE). Also, I will not have any MODS or Personal Hacks overlaying the out-of-box CM7! That means no zep scripts, no speedy scripts, no other personal mods other than what you get from a stock CM7 flash. No ATKs and no Memory Optimizer apps. Power Mode is set to Performance, although Power Saving has never caused issues in the past. It is IMPERATIVE that you state ANY personal MODs over any ROM that you choose to use for me to help you!
This thread is going to cover the audio issues users are having with the Droid x2. This means popping sounds, no sound, sound too loud, static noises, random mutes, etc. ANYTHING that deals with audio issues for the Droid x2!
I have had the Droid x2 since its release, and I have yet to have any of the symptoms above, let alone ANY audio issues other than random bluetooth disconnects with my car's stereo system. I isolated the issue with that and the problem has been "solved" as of me writing this. But the issues I see users having deals with audio stuttering or lagging as the user is trying to listen to music.
Now, for me to try and help you, and others I'm sure, I need you to fill out a form and post it at the beginning of your post. It should look like this:
Device: Milestone x2/Droid x2
ROM: GBP7/Eclipse/Molten/Liberty/Etc. (Also, Provide the specific version "GBP7 v.5"
Android Version: This will be kernel version, android version, etc. go to About Phone to acquire.
Audio Software: Google Music, WinAMP, PowerAMP, etc.
Audio Enhancers: DSP Manager or any of the like to change the "normal" output of the device.
Init Scripts and personal mods: Please upload the scripts and explain all mods you did that are not posted in the x2 dev section.
Sound Output: Stock Speaker, Line Out Speakers, Ear Plugs, BT Headset, BT Speakers, etc.
SD Card Info: SD Card size, how much space is used and free, and SD Class(The class is the small number in the circle of your SD card)
Symptom: What the issue is.
Then give a DETAILED description of what you problem is, what you have tried to do to solve the issue, ANY INFORMATION that you feel would be relevant to the problem, POST IT! I don't have your specific handset and I see posts of several users stating they are having issues, yet I have never experienced any of the common problems. This is not denying that the problems don't exist, but I'm trying to help, and I will need to know as much as possible.
*Try to get me average free ram and cpu usage if you can. Look up an app called seepu by Latedroid in the market, the free version should suffice.
Further Testing:
-Before trying to apply one of the fixes, try these instructions before proceeding. With some devices having issues and others not, we need to isolate the cause of this issues. This will help more with the research.

Device droid x2
Rom: stock rooted and still bloat
Android ver: 2.3.5 build 412 kernal 0007
Audio enhancers: none
Sound: earphones, speakers
Sdcard:16gb class 10, 4gb free
Symptom: through music player for mp3 stored on phone popping, skipping.
Solution: not really a solution but more of a way to mitigate it to a low number of times. Currently only happens about 3 times per 105ish songs on stock player.
-First be on android 2.3.5 build 412.
-V6 supercharger update 8 option 9 then option 12.
-Setcpu or init.d cpu script keep a high of 1ghz and low of 608mhz.
-get v6noop.sh and run it with script manager.
-use naven's inithack v0.6
Those steps get rid of the pop and considerably cuts the skipping down. I noticed that once the cpu falls under 608 thats when the chances of music skipping will happen. And not so much as availible ram. I had as low as 59mb free of ram with out a skip but as soon as the cpu falls under 608 the chance of skipping will happen.
This method gets a good result with stock bloated and without poweramp high buffer. Heck i needed eclipse and all that with power amp on 2.3.4 and the results still wasnt as good as it with 2.3.5. Skipped every 6-8 songs per 80 with said method on 2.3.4.
Thats why i refuse to use any rom based on 2.3.4.
Oh btw forgot to mentioned that i have my music on the phone itself since my sdcard is known to fail on me (and if it does you can't do anything really with your phone if you have sd flipflop enabled learned that the hard way).

So, is the problem still going on? If so is it every 105ish songs? Or where you providing an answer?
I'm just mentioning this as an aside, but this is my second Dx2, it's a refurb. The reason I had to do a warranty call was because the headphone jack stopped playing music probably. By this I mean that the headphone jack wouldn't play because the connection between the jack and the motherboard was faulty. Hardware failure. Well now guess what, the same thing has happened to this refurb they gave me when I called my warranty. I'm not being abusive to this phone, all I'm doing is plugging in the earphones. This is the second Dx2 I've broken in the exact same way. Honestly I think it's because the dx2 is a pos, and the abused child workers in China making this aren't putting enough saughter on the headphone jack. So now I have to sbf back to stock yet again and do a warranty call.
But yeah, I'm just complaining and telling of my experience. I don't get skips on audio very often anymore. Eclipse mostly fixed that.

I have had no issues with my headphone jack, has the phone since they came out, use headphones many times daily.
As for the skipping, one can try a faster SD card if your music is on the external SD card.
My skipping was fixed when I installed Player Pro, so I think it is an issue with the Android player itself.
Nevermind
Ignore this

I currently use PowerAMP because it has gapless playback and crossfading. I didn't see on the Android Market description that PlayerPro has gapless playback. Does it? Reason I ask is even with PowerAMP, I get the occasional skip, but not much. Just curious.
Thanks!
If I heavily multi task..I get skips....but like stated HEAVY MULTITASKING

I have the same issue with my headphone jack, any slight movement of the headphones and it turns off the music app, it's really annoying. I sent my original X2 for a refurbished one and it does the same. I pretty much gave up on that but I'm able to listen to it if i place it just right with no movement and i hold it in my jacket pocket upright.
I never get skips. No matter how hard I multitask. Frankly I'm suspicious that all of the scripts everyone runs are part of the problem. The only time I've had issues with skipping or redraws or anything memory related was running v6 or speedy. My phone ran like a hot piece of **** with speedy on stock. Well except for on startup but after about 8 hours I would need a reboot. Stock Eclipse v1.3 with the mashup build.prop has given me the best performance all around.
But I'm not an Android dev. Just a casual observer.

Sorry i was providing both. Its on going but has been subdued to that extent. When i was on 2.2.2 - 2.3.4 it skipped and popped constantly even on eclipse (up to the last one that was for 2.3.4) and the best i could get was on 6-10 songs would skip per 80 songs and popped a lot and that was using v6 supercharger and powramp high buffer. So with the method i put its all free apps and knocks it down to 3-5 songs every 105 (thats about how long one of my playlist is). With out them pops skips on almost every single song. So yes this is a mitigate solution not a permanent fix solution.
So if your phone skips constantly then try what i did and see if it helps.

This would have a factor in the skipping of music because the CPU would drop or overload at random times. I personally have never had the skips except with the heavy HEAVY multitasking like stated earier, even on stock 2.2.2 til 2.3.5. The goal here is to isolate what the user is doing while the music is playing. I'm almost positive 90% of the issues are scripts or playing texas holdem or a tegra game or something while listening to music.
I listen to music for several hours every day at work. It skips on the stock rom, Molten, Liberty, and Eclipse roms. And that's with no multitasking since I'm working and can't sit there playing with my phone. Both stored and streaming music have always skipped since I got this phone. I even tried increasing the minimum cpu speed to 600mhz like someone else suggested, but that had no affect. The only way that I have been able to stop it is with option 9 in the V6 script.

Firstly, I am envious of Pepperm1nt and others who don't experience any music stuttering, you lucky chaps. I guess you guys were really lucky to get a good bug-free phone on purchase.
I for one do experience music stuttering.
Device: Droid x2
ROM: Liberty
Android Version: 2.3.4
Audio Software: Google Music
Audio Enhancers: DSP Manager with Bass and Equalizer turned on
Sound Output: Ear phones
SD Card Info:32 GB Sandisk class 4 SD card (I also had a generic 8 GB class 4 SD card before). About 8 GB free.
Symptoms: When I listen to music, I sometimes experience music stutters. I can't remember clearly, but I think I don't get (or at least only rarely get) sound stutters when I am doing nothing on the phone. On occasion, music stutters when I turn off the display and sometimes when I am browsing the web on the phone. A couple of sure shot ways to cause music to stutter is by going into Settings>Applications>Manage Applications. This causes the Settings app to load all the currently installed apps and this takes some processing and causes a LOT of music stutters.
I also noted that music stuttering increases if I use the DSP manager settings. Also, it is worth pointing out that the amount of multitasking doesn't really matter because I experience music stuttering even on relatively mild to no multitasking..
Is it possible that there is a hardware bug on some (or many) of the Droid X2's and some people (like pepperm1nt) were just lucky to get a phone that didn't have those bugs and are not experiencing any music stuttering (or at least experiencing a lot less stuttering than others)?
Also, I was wondering if using CM7 that dragonzkiller released might help alleviate or even cure this problem? Is it possible and did someone try to check?

I haven't tried CM7 yet and I won't until it can read the external SD card, since that is where my music and my apps are at.
But, reports from people who have put it on their phones have been that the ROM is very fast. I would hope so with all the BLUR removed and it being a pure AOSP image.
But, as for now, if I don't use the V6 scripts, then my music stuttering on stock is pretty bad, even when I'm not multitasking anything. Although, I am running Juice Defender, so that might have something to do with it as well.
Still, even on my old LG Vortex (ARM6, 600mhz), music stuttering never occurred when I wasn't doing anything else on it, and then even if I was playing a game, it was rare, but it would happen.

Even I am holding back from flashing CM7 until the External SD card is working as that is where all my music and a lot of my media is. Also, I don't have so severe music stuttering issues on stock though.

It might be worth it to note that there are different versions of the droid x2. If you pull out the battery you can see it listed. It starts SJUG. Maybe some of these problems only exist on certain revisions ( I believe there are only 2 versions).
Audio codec problem
I think this is on topic relative to the nature of this thread.
I work in a corporate environment, in a manner of speaking. We use M$ Exchange for emails. We also use IP Office and voicemails are sent to email as attachments.
I cannot play the email attachment with either the standard player or with WinAmp. I can play them with RemoteWave but even then they are somewhat scratchy.
I am running a rooted stock 2.3.4 with bloat apps frozen with no addons/scripts/roms.
Previously, I had read that the codec used is the problem and that certain Android builds on ceraton devices have problems. This goes back to my initial Froyo build on this phone (acquired in Jul '10).

A bit off topic lol
Now back on topic
I wonder what these different "versions" mentioned could be why there is so many different issues with not only music skips but why it seems so many issues are inconsistent here.
Hi,
Last night I finally got the upgrade for ICS (sim-unlocked)
This morning I played some music and found UberMusic was ok except the artist pics on the Now Playing screen were wrong. I re-installed the app, and this fixed that problem, but now none of the home screen widgets work properly. The buttons will highlight when touched, but don't actually operate.
(Full screen operation does work properly though)
I've tried another re-install but it's not helped. I've tried using different launchers, including the developer's own LauncherPro, but they all have the same problem.
Has anyone else found the same problem, and found a fix?
I understand the developer (Federico Carnales) doesn't support his apps once they've been released, which is a pretty *****y way to go, but I have to say I haven't found anything better in look-and-feel (InstaMusic has horrid scrolling, PowerAmp not as clean and elegant)
Any suggestions of good alternative players, preferably with a similar Metro style and nice selection of different sized widgets would be welcome!
(Edit: As my post has been moved to the Q & A thread, I should add I've got a Samsung Galaxy S2, connected to O2 but unbranded)
Edit2: Well, blow me down with a spoon, it's only working again! I don't know whether it's the action of trying different music players, or switching temporarily back to TouchWiz, but the widgets work again. Yippee
Whilst you're reading this I might as well pass on my related experience: I've had a couple of irritating problems - a lot of my cover art has disappeared, and some of my albums have been split into two parts. Well, the cover art problem is fixable with Cover Art Downloader, and using MP3TagEdit on my pc in extremis... and the splitting of the albums? That occurred because some of the tracks had an 'album artist' set whilst others didn't. So blanking all those fixed it.
I hope the ubermusic developer will update it for ICS. The Bluetooth headphone play and pause buttons doesn't work. The rewind, forward, volume buttons works. Presently I need to play and pause directly using the app, and not the BT headphone button, it is a bit annoying. But I can live with it
The ubermusic developer (the same guy who created Launcher Pro) has been quiet for quite a long time now. Doubt he is actually going to update any of his apps.

Ok so I've had the S3 since yesterday and needless to say its a pretty incredible piece of kit.
However I've encountered two problems I can't get around;
1. I can't seem to get my music player onto the lock screen to easily change track, I've tried a variety of players but none seem to take over the lock screen no matter what settings are used? Anyone know a fix?
2. Whenever I use the internet on my phone using desktop mode or any internet browser, when trying to watch videos other than on Youtube I always get the "You need Flash" instead of the video, I never had this problem on my Note...
Are there any quick fixes to this? I don't want to root my device...
For 2) it's probably a case of you needing to go the Play Store and downloading Adobe Flash

I would have thought by the fact i'd posted here it would have been assumed Id already downloaded Flash .
I have Adobe Flash Player 11 with the fix for ICS, however playing videos I could on my Note just isn't happening on the S3 and i'm not sure why!

If there are videos with commercials, it can be that the popup blocker of the browser blocks them.
It happened to me too just because the website I tried, needed to have the commercials downloaded first before it could start the playback.
Are you using the same browser on both phones?
About the first problem it works ok for me so i really dont know. (stock music player)
the above two problems are not major!! i will tell you a major problem and that is an auto focus issue while recording video looses its focus and moves too and fro awkwardly video help help!
I have the same problem as number 1: The stock music player on the galaxy s3 does not appear to have any control on the lockscreen. It's strange because on my Galaxy S it works perfectly.. Anybody have ideas on how to resolve the issue, without going to 3rd party apps/widgets?
It's annoying but at least you can pull down the notification bar and get it there.
Also the headphones do volume but not tracks... F'n annoying.
I find the music player a bit ****, wish I had access to Google Play Music from 4.0.
The only way is pull down the notification bar

In order for you to play the videos using the browser, you need to switch back to android mode(phone mode), the flash player, especially the adobe one, do not support desktop mode.
To sort it, you need a flash player that supports desktop mode which i don't know if there is already existing app like that.
So, there is no way to get it working properly, only notification bar? That's weak..
Btw. I have also problems with flash. Youtube works fine but sometimes it just keeps loading and doesn't play ( from the internet browser). What's the deal with all these issues, I thought SG3 will be flawless..
I wanted to follow up on this, I find the music player extremely annoying. The headphones not changing track I can live with for the time being.
Any solution on how to access the on screen music player besides the notification bar from the lock screen?
Has someone with a Mate 10 tried to run Android Auto? I'm still rocking a Mate 8, still a very good phone but with one major annoyance : not working with Android Auto. Very eager to find out if this issue has been resolved.

Actually..... was fine yesterday but I have had a few weird issues today (have only had the device 72hrs)
- Lost music playback during a drive this morning.. can still hear nav instructions and phone calls etc, just silence during what appears to be playing music.
- The map screen has shrunk.. its like a totally different dpi to the other screens and appears fairly high res. Good because of the extra screen estate, but is now difficult to read text.
I'm going to try again tomorrow and will reset the head-unit and reinstall AA if it continues.
There is also a fair bit of complaints going on at the google product forums so maybe Oreo still needs some bugs worked out ?

Actually..... was fine yesterday but I have had a few weird issues today (have only had the device 72hrs)
- Lost music playback during a drive this morning.. can still hear nav instructions and phone calls etc, just silence during what appears to be playing music.

It's strange. Sony XAV AX-100 & Mate 10 ALP-L29 .115
I find if I'm connected to the headunit first via BT and streaming music, it is fine. GPS directions and calls etc work as expected.
If I plug in via USB and let Android Auto takeover the headunit, it will continue only playing the one currently playing song, and the all other music is unable to play. I still get audio for directions & calls though.
What I think is happening, is Android Auto is trying to play music via USB connection and disables the "media" part of the BT paring.
For whatever reason, Google Play music doesn't come through via USB.
After a bit of research it appears this is a widespread problem with multiple devices after a recent AA & Google Play music update.. so I'm hesitant to blame Huawei here.
My current workaround is simply to use Android Auto on the phone and paired via BT for audio, rather than plugged in via USB.
Very very annoying, and hopefully fixed soon. Google seem to be dropping the ball A LOT lately
Very strange indeed...hope these bugs get ironed out soon. One of the main reasons to upgrade is to have AA working on my head unit so I guess I'll just wait until this works like it should.

Just a quick fyi.. I have cancelled my Google Play Music and switched over to Spotify instead, which is working great and I have no other issues while plugged in via USB
I still get the higher dpi on the maps screen, and am finding it's actually preferable now I've used it for a few days.
Another small fyi for those experiencing issues, after a whole bunch of testing it appears the 'Smart Display" resolution setting is casusing the Nav Maps screen to be distorted, and the On-Call Phone screen to be hidden.
Locking resolution to HD / 720 will allow Maps and Phone screens to function as expected.
Still haven't figured out the GPM no-audio bug even after yesterdays playstore update.
I'm having issues on my mate 8 NXT-AL10.
Navigating - Works on fresh install of Android Auto, but then with Waze installed, next time I get in the car and go to navigation the system freezes, goes black, and then returns to the home screen. This has gone on far too long, and this is also my 2nd and last Huawei phone. Unimpressed.
Music/Audio - Every app I go on within android auto (on my head unit) is giving the "Google play music doesn't seem to be working right now" or insert other app name. It's mightily frustrating.
I've found workarounds for both but they're by no means fullproof.
1) Using Nova Launcher seems to keep Waze working for longer without having to reinstall the android auto app.
2) Apparently clearing the cache of your apps can help solve the audio issues, as well as restarting Bluetooth.
Google/Huawei really need to get their act together on this. It's really frustrating to spend so much money on a phone and a new car only to find out the systems you bought them for don't work.

Oh, and also, when typing - for inserting a destination into a navigation app on Huawei, I've found there's no space-bar.
The only workaround so far I've found is type it natively on app in phone, save the destination as a favourite, and access it on android auto from the favourites list. Again, small, but painful.
You going to hate android auto belive me.

I upgrade my Oneplus 3 to Mate 10 and having the same Google Map resolution too high problem.
I turn off Smart Display and lock the resolution to HD (720p) as instructed from this post, the navigation of android auto back to normal but the quality of the screen of the Mate 10 itself look like a budget phone.
I will try to update the firmware of my SONY XAV-AX100 if it would help.
Oh great. I really wish i found this thread before pulling the trigger on a Sony XAV-AX100 I expect it to arrive sometime next week but it wont be installed in my car until the new year sometime. Nonetheless, I will try some basic tests with Android Auto and report my findings. These tests won't involve sound though. No speakers laying around to connect to the headunit. I have a Mate 10 Pro, firmware 8.0.0.125
Updating the firmware of the XAV-AX100 unit does not help. I think it is the problem of Huawei Firmware. I hope they can fix the problem soon.
I just bought my Mate 10 last week. Finally got a chance to use AA, and after reading all the helpful information from this thread, I changed my phone resolution down to HD (low). I have a brand new car and brand new expensive flagship phone, and now you are telling me Huawei doesn't work well with AA. I really dont want to use an expensive phone with HD low resolution. Is there a way to let Huawai fix it?
I was also wondering if we could update the firmware of the screen of our car? I have a 2016 honda accord ex-L...

I think we have to wait for the firmware update of the phone instead of the firmware of head unit. I am current running 8.0.0.119(C636) (which have the AA bugs) and hope that the new 8.0.0.128(C636) I found in Firmware Finder will have the problem fixed. However, the new firmware is not authorise to install on my mate 10 yet.

Sorry for bringing this topic again, but these are exactly my problem and exactly my thoughts.
I have a Mate 9 Pro with Oreo beta and even when I don't have problems with maps or screen, I can only hear 1 song and then the audio stops working, and even when I unplugged the phone, the device remains with no audio at all until I reboot the device.
I tried to test with a P10 Lite, but the car is not even recognizing it.
I will try today with an Android Stock device to see if I get better results.
:fingers-crossed:

Do you get correct resolution on your car screen with AA? I can get correct resolution by using HD 1280 x 720 only, which is low resolution.
I tried to use Quick Shortcut Maker to create a shortcut so everytime I need to use GPS, I will toggle it on. However, Quick Shortcut Maker doesn't work on my Mate 10, and I dont' see any new shortcut created on my home screen.
I tried Nova Launcher, again, no hope. Nova Launcher tells me "Permission Denial" when I created the shortcut for "Screen Resolution". Also, after insatlled Nova, my Torch (flashlight) no longer working anymore.
I am thinking to return this crappy mate 10, it's not worth it to spend so much time to do research on all these bugs for Huawei software engineer....

Ok. I have received the Sony head unit and had it installed on friday night and...........
I am having similar experiences to Snachez with some exceptions.
No sound in Google Play Music. Which I am very pissed off with. Sure, I could cancel Google Music, but I have a family account with multiple users. So that's not really an option. I have no choice but to take up a Spotify subscription as well as GPM. I truly believe this is an issue with the GPM app or AA and is not Huawei's fault. Goddamn you Google. (EDIT: Just scored 3 months of Spotify for $0.99. If Google can get there **** sorted by the end of March with the Music app, it won't be so bad)
Maps are fine. don't matter what resolution i run the phone at. Sadly this is probably the only part of AA that has worked as expected.
Phone call information does not display on my headunit. at all. I have a dialer / contacts info but that's it. It doesn't matter if i switch the phone between 720 or 1080p. phone call info does NOT come up on the headunit. Do i have to reboot the phone between resolution switches? Because I didn't try that.

Saying I hate it would be a bit strong. More unimpressed than anything else. Unless I need to use Google Maps, or charge my phone. This headunit is going to spend more time in BT Audio mode than AA
I have got phone functionality (call info, etc) to work in AA. But to do so I have to force close the Huawei dialler each and every single time before connecting the phone to the headunit.
[email protected] me, what an absolute pain in the arse. How did Google and/or Huawei not notice this???
On the upside though, it works when the phone's resolution is set to 1080p. what a relief because changing it to 720p everytime i want to use AA would just suck.
To all the folks that say phone / maps doin't work properly in 1080p. have you tried enabling Developer Options in AA and experimenting with some of the settings?
