Hi, first of all sorry for the spelling, i'm from Argentina and my english is not the best.
i have a samsung s3 phone with a broken screen. I think also the touch-system is broken.
I want to access the device via VNC to configure it as a media server, or a camera or maybe buy the mhl cable and use it as a smart-tv.
I tried to install every app available but all of them requires me to authorize the adb interface (i have it enabled).
on the adb command linethe phone shows as "unautorized"
i tried the solution of rebooting the phone on recovery-mode and change the adb hosts files to have it autorized with no luck.
In my several tests i think i broke the download mode and recovery mode because now it doesn't seems to reboot in those modes, it always boots in normal mode no matter wich keys i press.
So, now i have a working cyanognemod rom (i don't remember wich version, if it's a 5.0 or 6-0 rom).
I don have acces to recovery mode.
I dont have access to download mode.
I don't have wifi connected.
I have adb enabled.
I dont have adb autorized.
I tried the vysor app, the teamviewer app etc.
Is there any app to access the phone (vnc, or edit system files remotely) without autorize the adb interface?
I bought a usb-jigg (it on its way) but i think it wont help, maybe it will allow me to enter download mode, but if i flash a new stock or custom rom i will be in the same place, because i dont have a way to autorize adb whitout a working screen
So, i woinder if there's an app or script to authorize adb, or directly to access the phone wihout having to enable it
Thank you in advance
Greetings
Is there a list on the phone of authorised computers for adb communication?.
Some devices have a popup that asks if adb is allowed for that pc when you connect via usb.. You might have accidentally blocked it or even missed the prompt..
A shot in the dark but worth a try!.

Hello,
I'm trying to connect my Samsung GS3 to my computer to use with the Android SDK Manager and the ADB console, but when I connect it to my computer it recognizes it as a Camera and ADB doesn't recognize it either, how do I fix this?
I'm locked out of my phone and trying to unlock it using methods from here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2620456. So I have no interaction with my phone beyond the locksreen to change from PTP to MTP as I've seen people with similair problems suggest. Is their a workaround?

Since you're already looking in the right place, consider installing a custom recovery (such as philz) with odin and then flash the zip.
Thanks for the help. I was finally able to get my computer to recognize the GS3 (Installed Samsung USB Drivers from their website instead of Kies). But now after it recognizes that I have new hardware installed, when I try to use the Wizard to automatically install the drivers I get the error: "The required section was not found in the inf", did some searching and realized that this is due to not having the wpdmtp.inf file on your computer. I've checked and it is indeed missing, does anyone now of a way to install this file?
I'm still locked out of my phone. And I don't have an SD Card to install recovery and flash the zip as dxppxd suggested.

Take another shot by booting into a custom recovery, most give you adb access while in recovery.
If the phone is locked with usb debugging disabled you won't be able to get adb access.
Hello All,
I have strange problem with ADB debugging on my Smartwatch ASUS ZenWatch 3.
I´m on AW2.0 and I tryed custom AW2.0 kernel from here:
https://forum.xda-developers.com/zenwatch-3/development/rom-asus-zenwatch-3-swift-t3537340
and all working fine except ADB debuging and ADB commands.
If I enable ADB debuging in developer option and plug my watch to the computer I not see any confirmation dialog about allow ADB. And I see only unauthorized device after ´adb devices´.
With stock kernel all worked fine.
For now I´m on stock recovery and I can´t use ADB commands in recovery. It´s totally..........
I need working ADB commands and main problem is missing confirmation dialog... not pop up....
I tryed everything.... Enable/disable ADB, rewoke ADB, restart computer and watch, new ADB drivers, start and kill ADB server, factory reset, delete RSA key... Nothing works for me
I tryed debugging over wifi and Bluetooth and same problem... Allow ADB dialog not pop up
And my watch is unauthorized...
I tryed also another computer and same situation...
Maybe some problem in kernel? Because ADB is enabled by default... I don't know...
Is there any other way to get working ADB commands?
Maybe some bypass?
Please could you help me? Thank you very much
Hello,
I broke my phone screen (cant see anything) but I can still hear sounds from the phone.
I tried to access it over ADB, but unfortunately it says unauthorized. I also tried booting into recovery and sending the RSA keys over adb but the phone isn't rooted so that also isn't working.
It's running Android 7.0
Is there any way to remotely access my phone? I need the Google Authenticator database or I need to be able to use it one last time over the PC or whatever.

Yes , is possible by simple enabling ADB on your device .
To Enable , you need to flash your phone with Odin with ADB enabled file .
1. Odin https://odindownload.com/download/Odin3_v3.12.3.zip
2. ADB Enabled flash file https://files.fm/u/c33vbbkf
Instruction
1. Make sure your phone is OFF
2. Put your phone in Download mode by pressing all together Vol - & Home button & Power key]
3. Connect your phone with USB and plug in PC
4.Open Odin , click on AP , choose ADB enabled file and click on Start.
Now , wait until is flashing finished and you should be able to access to your phone storage : )
Good Luck
ADB is already enabled, its just that it says "unauthorized" when I try to access it over my PC
Hi, i've tryied to install andromeda with substratum but when i enable usb debug wont show any autorization dialog and "adb devices" says "unauthorized".
I've tryied to revoke permission deatch and reattach the cable or disable and re enable debug mode, but nothing to do
Did you get some kind of message on the phone about the connection needing you to accept it? I enabled usb debuging and adb wasn't authorized. I looked at the phone and it had a message I need to click on about a trusted connection or something and once I did that adb connected and did what I needed.
I was able to install - got the ADB pop up about devices - clicked and then installed the Andromeda ap (after installing substratum) my problem is that I can't get the Sumbstratum themes to stick - not sure what I am dong wrong - probably user error...but anyway - good luck getting yours connected.
Solved with other pc
What if we are not able to use anothe PC for the process?
How can we reset the ADB log in the PC that was refused in the first place?
Thanks!
So i forgot the PIN number on my old phone which was not rooted, had no recovery software (Cwm, Xrec, etc.) installed on it, and has usb debugging and auto-mount disabled. We don't know the google account associated with the phone. Basically all I have is the phone and a usb cable. Is there a way to get the user data out of it? Adb won't recognise the device btw. I do apologise if it's a stupid question. The phone automatically connected to the wifi, and I'm on Linux, if that helps. But I managed to get into recovery but adb only recognises the device in sideload mode. The files inside the phone is extremely important to me because it contain photo of my family member that were passed away.
Phone: Vivo V7 Plus
I wanted to try brute-force the PIN with program but unfortuntely the phone will cool down for 7000 second (3hours+)
A phone typically knows of 2 USB modes: ADB & MTP. If MTP mode was enabled and phone supports a USB-C connection then it should be possible to fetch the user-data you're interested in.

Hi, first of all thanks for your respond. In order to enable MTP i need to have the phone unlock right? how can i enable MTP if the phone is locked ?
All I know is that ADB is the door to any Android device and nothing than that.
