If you've the extra 80€ to spend an need the extra ram and storage.
Never bought nothing from coolicol and there's also the customs taxes and fees.
I would buy it from their European warehouse and that would put the price in 270€ an extra 100€ comparing to the model i've posted.

You're forgetting customs taxes and fees, i paid 190€ for everything delivered to my door, using priority line from gearbest.
In my country customs taxes and fees are huge, if a phone costs 190€ you will surely pay half of that just to clear it from customs.
BTW don't understand why there are 3 or 4 different models if they all share the same hardware, x820, x821, x822 and x829, just the storage and ram change.
If you flash a chinese rom you're x820, an indian rom you're x821, an American rom you're x829, so why the different models and different prices? Anyone knows?

Yes very lucky, here in Portugal it's almost armed robbery if it doesn't ship from the EU! For example, if you win any contest or lotery equal or above 5000€, the state keeps 20%!!!

Yes i also saw that, but i already found many users saying that the band 20 in the x829 is unlocked., maybe they unlocked it afterwards.
Basically the x829 has no support for CDMA, TD-SCDMA or TDD-LTE, it has 1 extra 3G band and less bands everywhere else, that's why it's cheaper! Differences bellow in red:
x820
2G: GSM B2/3/5/8; CDMA (BC0 / BC1)
3G: WCDMA B1/2/5/8; TD-SCDMA: B34/39; CDMA (BC0 / BC1)
4G: FDD-LTE: B1/2/3/4/5/7/8/12/17/20/25/26, TDD-LTE:38/39/40/41
x829
2G: GSM 850/900/1800/1900MHz
3G: WCDMA 850/900/1700/1900/2100MHz
4G: FDD-LTE B1/B2/B3/B4/B5/B7/B8/B12/B17
That's why the x820 is a much better prepared phone, you can travel wherever you want on the globe and you'll always be able to connect to any network.
PS: If the x829 is the american model why doesn't it support Sprint 4G network (B25 & 26)???
PS2: Also in the U.S., Sprint, Verizon and U.S. Cellular use CDMA, only AT&T and T-Mobile use GSM.

Yep, it doens't have LTE Band 20, that's used in Europe by many carriers.
X829 has AWS in 3g and 4g, here in Chile and many American countries we use AWS. (2100/1700.mhz)

Hi, i would like to know how did you managed to avoid the customs fees since the phone to the best of my knowledge ships from HK warehouse and not EU warehouse. For me with all the customs shenanigans comes to 234 €. Since we both live in EU and we both have to pay taxes for the stuff that isn't from EU i would like to know how did you manage not to pay for it. I presume you bought the phone from that link now!! and are talking from experience? And you actually received it otherwise let me tell you you'll be in for a big surprise when the package arrives

Unless I am quite mistaken ....
AT&T's 3G network operates on 1900 MHz, whereas the European networks operate at 2100 MHz. As such, the European Hero is incapable of working on the AT&T 3G network. The only US carrier operating on that frequency is T-Mobile.
The phone is supposed to be released in the US later this year, though as far as I know the carrier is as yet unannounced.

Instead of buying a prepaid SIM, consider getting VZ global plan $25 for 100MB. I will be travelling to Europe in July, few countries, and this is by far the cheapest option.
You can get a pre-paid SIM for like $30 and have a better plan and better service, when I was in Australia the signal sucked so I got a pre-paid SIM with 1500 minutes, 400mb data, unlimited texts, and unlimited data for social networks. Better deal than the Verizon plan.

Uhhh... what? You can get much better pre-paid SIM's for $25. 100MB will allow you to update a few apps, upload a few pictures, and navigate for a day. That $25 also doesn't include voice and SMS fees.

Tell me where in Italy or France I can get anything cheaper. In France there is couple day waiting period.
I don't know about France, but in Germany, for 25 Euro, I got a prepaid SIM with 300MB data and a 10 euro credit for international calls at 0.09 euro per minute. SMS are 0.09 each (a bit expensive), but local calls (in germany) were included in the price of the SIM. I think there was a different pricing structure you could choose at 1 euro per day for unlimited data, charged each day that you use data but my german language skills are quite shaky, so I may have misunderstood. T-Mobile DE was/is the carrier.

I was going to use the search feature, but it seems to be down right now. My question is whether or not the Xperia Z Ultra will work on Canadian Frequencies - In my case, TELUS/Bell. I've done some research on the 3 models (6802, 6806, 6833) and am pretty confident that the LTE 6833 variant will work on my network for both LTE and HSPA+ but just want to be sure. According to GSMArena it runs on LTE 800 / 850 / 900 / 1700 / 1800 / 1900 / 2100 / 2600. TELUS and Bell use frequencies 850/1900 GSM and LTE Band 4 (1700). So in theory this phone SHOULD work on our network, right?

Yup, that's exactly what I meant. The HSPA+ version is out which works on both AWS (TELUS/Bell) and regular 850/1900, but I'm more concerned about the LTE frequencies. I did a bit more research and came to the conclusion that the C6833 is the one to use for TELUS/Bell.
Also, if you're going to buy the LTE version, you should check out Clove's pre-order offer. I put my pre-order in a couple days ago and they were offering a free pair of Sony Bluetooth Earbuds with the order. Today they just upped the deal to include the bluetooth earbuds AND Sony Smartwatch 2 at no additional cost. I've never ordered from Clove before, but they are offering the phone at the lowest price that I could find and I can't say no to the Smartwatch 2 or headphones

Oh true, thanks yeah I pulled the trigger as well on Saturday, they haven't been responding to my emails or have issued me an email saying they dispatched it but I'm assuming that that's' because its the weekend hopefully they don't rip me off lol or it would entirely suck.
I currently have galaxy mega 6.3 I9200 16gb but I need to buy 4g version. Can anyone please tell me how can I buy online? I searched for amazon.com and Ebay.com, But no luck! Amazon.com offering too much shipping charges (like 80$), I tried normal shipping method also but they are not shipping to my country and in ebay.com its very high price (around 600$ or so).
By the way my residence is in Saudi Arabia. And 4g version is not available here Anyone can suggest please that from where I can buy?

This is one of my Concerns as well, don't you think that 1700 SAR for this phone is a little steep for this kind of phone?, because it would cost you another 100SAR @ least for aramex to ship it?, I'm waiting for your feedback when you got the phone isa, hopefully you can tell us if its working with networks in SA or not.

Actually I had mega 6.3 I9200 before, I already used mega. So there is no doubt in quality and speed of the device. Its absolutely brilliant. But i gave it to my brother and ordered 4g version i.e. I9205. 3g version I9200 I bought it in 1650SAR from souq.com. Now 4g version i bought in 1800SAR (Including shipping charges). Its worth for mega. Because I really like the screen size and its really lag free.
Regarding network 4g is concerned, it should work. Because my friends have S3 4g and Iphone5 4g versions and for both of them 4g is working here.
Seller provided RMA and offered refund or keep and $20 credit "to buy a micro sd card" which I of course declined. Amazon dealing with it. Straightforward if you are in the US but if not...?

I know the build quality is superb, and it's good hw/sw combination, but for the same price you can get much better phones.
And about 4G I'm not sure about it because STC uses 2300 TDD LTE and 1800 FDD LTE, Mobily uses 2600 TDD LTE, and Samsung didn't mention which band or duplex type that the phone supports.

Yes I know that, but what's the duplex technology TDD or FDD?
In New York at any rate you can only get the 16gb locked to att but found that out too late!

that's what i was afraid of
for returns just give Amazon a call/email/chat ,they are superb in customer support, even better you can negotiate with the seller to refund you @ least 40~50$ since you are rightfully paid the price for 16GB and got 8GB.
my advice for you is to forget the return trip, because it might cost another 300~400 SAR....
I was trying to warn of this above. I returned it on amazon's. Instruction for refund. See A-Z guarantee on Amazon
