Resurrection remix is the choice of good ROM.
Please check once.
Screen Cast doesn't work in Resurrection Remix nor any other Nougat ROM.
If that feature is important to you, stick with MIUI
Apparently the next official build of LineageOS will add back support for wireless display.
Not sure if miracast will work though...

Hey guys,
is there any ROM (not MIUI based) which has the onehand-mode known from MIUI?
So far i can't remember i found one.
I tried some 3rd party apps and Xposed modules, but those onehand-modes dont work
half as good as the built-in MIUI one.
Maybe you know a custom ROM with MIUI-like Onehand-Mode ?

Every ROM based on Lineage 14 Nougat has it, can't find any Oreo ROM supporting it unfortunately.

First of all, thanks to all the developers who revived this orphan child of Xiaomi.
I want to use this pad as a daily driver. Which custom ROM would be preferable. I have seen Lineage OS 14.1 (Stock blobs) and LOS 14.1, 15.1 (Shield Blobs) by smoke team. They are nice.
Stablity and smoothness/swiftness are my primary requirement. I don't want most feature packed rom.

I would say any Shield blob rom would do. I would prefer 14.1 versions because I watch a lot of youtube with this thing.
I run atm: https://forum.xda-developers.com/mi-pad/development/rom-resurrection-remix-n-v5-8-5-xiaomi-t3734895 and I am very happy. Everything works just fine and comparing to stock blobs 14.1, the shield one beats it 100-0.

Resurrection remix supports it but only for all apps.
Havoc supports it per app like in miui. Can enable only for apps that is needed.
I have been using Resurrection Remix 6.2 8.1.0 Oreo Redmi Note 4 . Its a great Rom with awesome Customization option and many are unique customizing options.
I want to switch to Android Pie Rom because Its been a long time since pie come out but no Resurrection Remix Pie Rom.
I know its not easy to build a Rom especially with a lot of features but I want to switch.
So, Anyone who used Resurrection Remix and switch to another Rom with great customization as RR. Thanks in advance
