Pulse empty notification in status bar. - Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 Questions & Answers

I'm having proems with the Pulse app showing an empty notification in the status bar, everytime I go in to the app a blank notification shows up in the bar and stays there until I manually swipe it away.
What's causing this and how do I get so notification only show up for new unread messages.

I have exactly the same problem. I thought it is about drawing over other apps but it seems that is not. Btw. Messenger from google(sms client) dosent work at all too on my miui8 global Redmi 3s

Yes I switched to pulse because I couldn't get Google messages to work with MMS. And I started using Google messages because the stock app doesn't support gifs. In a real pickle here.

Anyone? Looking to get the color to white so I can read it
Look at the browser your using to do the downnload. The browsers use their own built in color code
You'll have to have knowledge on how to decompile and edit xml

What weather notification is that? I like that better than the standard sense widget.

My uncle's S3 has received this symbol since the Kies LFB update, no idea what it is and pulling the bar down shows nothing there, only visible when the bar is up.
I don't have it on mine but I've Titanium frozen all Samsung bloat of course.
Anyone have any ideas?
He's already added the Samsung Account into sync settings for accounts.
Check (when infobar is pulled down) if the "Hide Info Icons" (or w/e it's actually called) is enabled/ticked in the icon row on the top.
Can you post a screenshot to show what the option looks like? I'm handling this tech support case via WhatsApp (lol), thanks
I'm on Wanamlite so don't have stock toggles.

That's the notification turned off icon.
Turn it on and your uncle will be happy.

LastPass icon suddenly keeps appearing?

Hi.
I've been using LastPass and the fill in helper for ages now.
Just the other day it has started sowing it's logo in the notification tray but at times when there aren't even log ins for it to fill in.
Any ideas why or how to get rid?

I do not have it yet but it seems you are running a newer version.
Go to Settings > App > Lastpass and uncheck the notification icon.
Unchecking the notification option in Settings will guarantee that you'll never see it again, even when you need it. Careful.

Did you find an option to uncheck in the settings? I'm still on the old version...
Yes, there's quite a few fill helper settings and you can disable. I wouldn't mind if it was there at the right times but often it's not is won't be there when you do want it!

How to hide the "Full screen display" bar on EMUI 8

I'm writing this as a guide for my future self (and for the people who find nothing when searching).
If you're like me, you're happy with your Huawei experience (except for them nerfing the bootloader unlock thing), but one thing I hate is this bar.

When it shows up, I usually click it, then click OK, and the game or app I'm using becomes full-screen most of the time. It doesn't really bite me until I open an app like DuckTales Remastered, which doesn't work in full screen mode. This is when you notice that the bar can't be hidden or dismissed, and you will often touch it by accident, making the confirmation dialogue pause the app and break your immersion, or worse, the app restarts in full screen and you lose all your progress.
If you have this problem, download hide full screen by huawei by kaipochi, and open it. Permit it to draw over apps, and you will have a bar display over the full screen bar. You click the number to cycle through three sizes depending on your phone, you can click the bookmark to change the size settings and create shortcuts that open the app with the bar, and click the X to close it.
Hope this helps EMUI 8 users!
