Root lost after moving SuperSU to SD - E 2015 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I accidentally moved SuperSU to SD card and lost root. I tried moving back to internal storage, normally uninstalling and reinstalling SuperSU from play store but it does nothing. Options in SuperSU app like 'Reinstall', 'Full unroot', 'Install SuperSU into /system' fail.
Is it safe to try flashing SuperSU zip from recovery in this state? How can I regain root without flashing new rom and wiping?
I'm using CM 12.1 ; 5.1.1 ; TWRP 2.8.5.0

First I recommend you to upgrade your recovery and then u can flash the SuperSU zip in recovery. Clear cache and dalvik cache to be on a safer side.

[Q] help installing Custom ROM

Hi
Please can anyone help. I have rooted my LG d802 correctly and confirmed this by Root Checker. I am trying to install a custom ROM which I have saved the zip file to the phones internal SD card.
When using ROM manager it says I have installed custom recovery Clockwork mod 6.0.4.4 but when I reboot into recovery mode only get the options to reboot system, install from external, adb etc. Or to wipe cache. I don't get option to instal from zip or any way to instal the new ROM. Rebooting just gets the phone back to its original state? Please any help on what I need to do to be able to see the instal from zip option.? Many thanks anyone!?
I don't use CWM, but I believe you should select install from external. It may be referring to your external SD, even if the SD isn't removable. If you still have issues installing your ROM, try TWRP recovery. You can install TWRP installer from the play store.

Trying to install new rom and I get an error

Im using Philz recovery and I have been installing new roms just fine. I wanted to format my internal storage cause the new rom required it. and now when I go to install a new rom it says E:Cannont write to /sdcard/clockworkmod/ .last_install_path. How can I fix this?
Try mounting the storage, wiping again, and try flashing again.

Yes, this. After you wipe everything reboot to recovery from within recovery. When/if prompted to install superuser, do so. Get the latest recovery as well if you are not already on it.
Good luck.

Moto E CM13 - Doesn't auto update

I flashed to CM13 using TWRP recovery.
I was unable to install the newer updates.
I flashed the recovery to cyanogen. Now every time I download new updates, I have to select the update file manually in recovery mode. Also I am afraid that if I format SD card as internal storage, I wouldn't be able to browse the update file in recovery.
Please suggest what can I do?

Galaxy tab 10.1 GT-P7500 Stuck in a bootloop after storage format

Yesterday i had tried to install a custom rom on my "Galaxy Tab 10.1 GT-P7500 (p4).
I had rooted my tablet using a .zip package and installed it via original recovery, then i installed the CWM recovery using the google play app and superuser permissions.
I had put the cyanogenmod 10.1 zip and the gapps zip on the internal storage, then i entered the recovery mode, wiped up data and cache, and i had installed the rom and the gapps from recovery.
Everything was working correctly, the device was booting up and the system working well but my internal memory was almost full.
So i thought that some old files from the old installatio was remained hidden in the internal storage.
I had rebooted my tablet in recovery mode wiped up data and cache then i had formatted everything shown in clockwork's mounts and storage menu (including format system, data, cahce, and /data and /data/media (/sdstorage).
After that i wasn't been able to find anymore the rom and gapps saved on the internal storage of my device....
So i had installed "android platform-tools adb" to do a sideload install using "install .zip from sideload" of my CWM.
I had done the sideload install and the log of CWM was showing "update installed" so i rebooted my device.
After that the tablet has remained stuck at the Cyanogen boot up logo for hours until the battery was fully drained :crying:
What can i do now? i have to wipe something then do another time a sideload reinstall (or things like that) or i have to use odin for return back in the original firmware recovery rom?
Now is everything ok i have reinstalled the original firmware using odin3- v1.85 and i have downloaded the firmware from sammobile
