Hi folks,
I ordered a LeEco Le Max 2 x829 (4GB RAM / 64GB ROM) today. I am gathering information about this phone regarding repair. In particular, TWRP, backing up nvram, is that sufficient enough to restore IMEI if it is corrupted?
My current phone, Elephone P8000, has two ways of IMEI recovery. Backing up nvram via TWRP, and also Elephone P8000 stock ROM has a IMEI Tool built in (#*#*6813*#*#) that can also recover IMEI within the stock ROM by manually typing the IMEI and the tool writes it to RAM. Does LeEco Le Max 2 Stock ROM have a similar internal tool? Once I found out about the internal Elephone tool it made restoring IMEI a snap. It looks like It could be more of a challenge with the LeEco Le Max 2.

HI there. I moved skype into /system/apps and after that my k00E didnt boot.
The only solution i found was installing a raw over fastboot, after that i could upgrade to lollipop again alas my imei is now overwritten to 004999010640000, the developer IMEI.
I found my old imei on google accounts, it started with 35827....
How can i restore my old IMEI number? Witk MTK chipset it would be easy.
Is there a /recovery or some other folder hidden on the fonepad where maybe there is a backup of the old imei or does the raw image completely wipe the storage?
I think with sdmaid i saw a lot more partitions
I know how to root use ES explorer etc...
i have no backups
Any help wanted.
Thx

Hi everyone!
After a series of bad decisions combined with some bad luck, I am left with a phone with no IMEI (and thus no SIM connectivity).
Googled around for some solutions; consensus seems to be either to use some tool to set the IMEI or set in a QCN backup and that apply that.
So, to make a long story short: none of the IMEI setting tools work for me, and there is no QCN backup for the Pocophone that I can find online (and yes, I didn't make one myself. Like I said, bad decisions).
Does anyone know where I can find a "working" QCN backup for the Poco F1? Alternatively, could anyone share one of their own?
Thanks!
Did you get the qcn for poco, because I have the same problem
I have ACCIDENTALLY deleted modemst1 and modemst2 few days back and because of this sim card , Internet and IMEI information gone. I have reviews various blogs and as suggested by them, I have restore qcn file BUT AFTER RESTORE qcn file, only incoming call working and also SIMCARD MANAGMENT menu totally disabled and internet also not working in noughat android 7.0 version.
my mobile model is Lenovo k6 note PA57 type.
Do anyone have solution with latest qcn file?
I have strored qcn file for lenovo k6 note but still Sim management is in disabled.
Hello guys,
I've been using the F1 and am a fan. However due to screen issue and newer niggles I want to upgrade to the K20 Pro. However the K20 pro I can buy online as an exchange - the courier will pick up my F1 and give me the K20 Pro
In this scenario - what are the some of the ways I can move all data from the F1 to the K20?
1) Any software that can backup the F1 and restore on K20?
2) I backup to the micloud - can I directly then restore from the cloud?
What are my options?
Thanks
