ChainFire let you run specific graphical apps (like games etc.) but its not for video perfomance boosting at all It emulates shaders processing, so you could run Tegra or PowerVR games on Snapdragon devices. Using with SK17i, no bugs, all works fine.

I had it for some times (but never used a proper game to test it).
I just remember that I had some GUI graphc elements really stretched and messed up, did not know why...
I uninstalled Chainfire3D driver and all turned normal...

Depends en the game, if it's Hd or heavy,you can reduce the graphics and play games very heavy and incompatible with ours devices

so i have hp compaq cq57 and i was so exciting about the remix os .. but the problem is that i found that my laptop not supported
as i open mx player and choose HW Decoder it's not working
and when i try to open simple game as shadow fight it's say something about the graphic .. and it's really lagy
i hope that you add support to my laptop
my specs is
CPU : AMD E300
GPU : AMD Radeon HD 6310 Discrete-Class
4 gb ram
I have CQ60 and same It is because of the AMD cpu that's not compatible with MX. use Kodi it's awesome, and has youtube addon to watch youtube as Youtube app may not work as well like mine.

but what about games
remix team really need to work on support of devices
specially AMD devices

I'm currently attempting to fix the fps fluctuations in emulators on the GPD XD Plus.
It seems the refreshrate/fps fluctuates between 58 and 62 fps which causes stuttering in several emulators.
So I'm trying to disable the systems own vsync to use the emulators own fps limiter only.
I tried the following so far,
I set
debug.egl.swapinterval=0
hwui.disable_vsync=true
in the build.prop but that doesn't do anything at all.
GPU in this device is a PowerVR GX6250.
Any ideas what I can do?
