my phone is Asus zenfone laser ZE550kl
I was messing up with the boot image(powered by andriod img)
while doing it my phone battery got dead so i putted it on charge after a while i tryed to onn it but it just shows blank screen ;its not bricked as the led is on & it shows the battery charging percentage while off but when i try to on it its blank ;its niether going in recovery or fast booting ;i contacted local shops they said is some software error i have to try on my self
please if anyone knows whats the issue

I have also faced a similar issue when messed around with the boot animation manually. You have to flash the stock rom using Sp flash tool to fix it.

As far as i know, SP Flash Tools only works with mediatek chipsets. Try it out. All the best!

Please kindly suggest how to unbrick my Star S7589.
I have flash wrong rom using SP Flash tool and now it's not responding.
Except when I plug in USB w/wo battery it will show MTK USB port.

I try to change the usb cable to official SONY Experia cable instead of cheap chinese cable.
Still same error.

I think you might need jtag or uart.

So im trying to flash the complete system on my Lenovo S6000-H (16GB WiFi and 3G, MT6589) with a stock rom to get rid of all the branding.
Im using S6000_A422_101_017_131009_WW_SMS which I got from another post (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2368913&page=7) number #66.
It downloads parts of the ROM fine but when trying to do a full system upgrade it wont find the FAC.img which is in the scatter file and in the "target_bin" folder.... Where does the program pick up the file paths from or is there a file that tells SP flash tool where they are??
I have tried using 3 different versions of Flash tool aswell as i did read it may be a bug but didnt help.

Change your rom
Hi there, when that happens what you have to do is to select manually the FAC file, just click twice over the FAC file and select it in your folder. After that, the tool will read the file and the flash should be good.

My android phone is bricked. I wan trying to install custom rom in my phone so i installed custom recovery {TWRP} and rom was installing well with that but actually rom was not good so process stopped suddenly but i had my backup so i again installed my backup and phone worked well again. But the problem is i decided to do this thing again and i tried other version of twrp recovery and this is the problem when i restarted my phone its starting and black screen appears and again switch off and again swicth on automatically and its happening continuously. I used sp flash tool also to connect my phone with pc but it connected for a while and disconnect again. Please solve my issue.
Which custom ROM did you tried to install?

I need help to recover my phone.
I've flashed my Ulefone U007 several times to update to a newer version.
The last time, I've installed without errors, but with time, the applications started to show errors, others disappeared (Marketplace, calculator, calendar, ... for example). I flashed the phone again with SP Flashing Tool, but something went wrong and my phone is dead since. The SP Flashing Tool doesn't detect my phone any more and gives me an error

The phone doesn't show battery animation when I charge it, No light or vibration when I power on, I've tried "power"+"volume up" or "power"+"volume down", and nothing happen. Can't get to the recovery menu.
I'm using Windows 10. I think something inside the mobile is still alive, because when I connect the mobile in the USB of my computer shows a MediaTek USB Port (COM4) on the devices.
I'm guessing that the bootloader or disk partition is corrupt.
Any help will be appreciated.

I own a Micromax Canvas 5 [E481] totally stock no funny business, which was running smoothly until 2 days back i found it bootloop stuck on logo.
[Rom i was running=Micromax_E481_MT6753_SW_V21_HW_V1.0_10082016.zip]
So i went ahead in recovery mode, did a factory reset, but still phone was not fixed, it remained stuck in bootloop.
Later i tried flashing the same rom mentioned above and another oldest rom version available, but no luck, i kept getting some error called 4008 [check attached pics for more info], it gets stuck every time at 'download flash 0%' when it hits 17.91M mark.
Current condition of phone=no screen lit up at all and only notification light lit up when i connect phone to charger or pc.
Ask me anything that can help revive my phone.
Please help me.
