- No home button in AOD
- Some people reported overlays issues while using navigation bar (between nav buttons and other apps)
I can not do any more or investigate more on this because apps use different ways to detect navigation bars even samsung apps. Strange way to not use framework methods to get this value.

INSTALLATION
1. ROM INSTALLATION
- Download ROM, Kernel, OMC-CSC
- Prepare yourself to not get lost of available aroma options.
- Know well your operator CSC/OMC code.
- Install ROM
- Install fix
- Install CSC/OMC and choose right one
- Then install Kernel (because aroma do not support file larger than 2GB).
- Full wipe required.
- If you see kernel is not seandroid enforcing, it is normal because I use new selinux stuffs. Nothing to worry.

FAQ
1. 4G/LTE/VOLTE/CALL DROP ISSUES WITH S8+ PORT (in case of having issues)
If you have one of above mentioned issues with S8+ Port, try:
Most problem due to the CSC conflicts and mainly related to block RIL in others.xml, so try:
- devide block RIL to 2 block, delete one, save and try to find with block cause issues, repeat process until you find the lines that cause issues.
- if still no luck, proceed to block IMS, Setting, Voicecall,....
2. NAVIGATION BAR
If you want to enable navigation bar, find in build.prop and edit to:
qemu.hw.mainkeys=0
3. CSC SUPPORT
If you want support for your country/operator csc and conserving all features moded, you should:
1. Edit cscfeature.xml and cscnetwork.xml
- Use my rom /mod-custom/CSC/XXV/system/omc/XXV/ as base.
- Replace any duplicate csc tag form your operator to mine
2. Test to see conflicts.
- If have conflicts, try to identify what blocks, lines causing issues.

I indicated in change log, samsung change so much in Note 5 framework compared to S7e, so AOD brightness control work with S7e base but not with Note 5 base. Also deep sleep during AOD is perfect with S7e base but no deep sleep during AOD for Note 5 base.

S7e have AOD brightness control and AOD deepsleep but do not have S8 like lockscreen. When I found solution for Note 5 base AOD brightness, I will unified them.

Kernel included in ROM.
If you use N9208 and have any problem with NFC please report with logcat if possible.

This thread was made for continuing this project as i take over the translation part.
We should thanks @singhking83 for everything he did for your device.
Those roms has been developped and updated by Norma and Aurora Team. My job was only to translate this rom and fix where i have the capacity of doing it. This rom is compatible with every Snapdragon Note 4. I will continue this project as i can if i not change my Note 4 to a newer device. As i'm at school the week and have only some hours to translate this rom forgive me if some release can take some times..

on v13 the fingerprint settings is not in settings and there is no way to acces for fingerprint to work. the same in v12. please work around for this ? thanks

Anyone else got the problem that the clock doesn't work. I set alarms but they don't wake me. My Mobile phone is set on vibration.
I've tried Norma Note 7 v13 and aurora v6, both no sim card detected for my phone note edge N915F with ram kernel v6.

Installation Instructions:
1.) Download Elite ROM v7.7 from 2nd Post.
2.) Do Titanium Backup always so you dont lose data with apps...
3.) You Must only have EliteTWRP as other TWRP's wont work... ( In 2nd Post too )
4.) Reboot to TWRP and Backup Everything including Boot, Data, System, Product, Vendor, Version (Most important)
5.) Format Data Once with EliteTWRP, then Reboot TWRP... Wipe Everything in wipe section (dont wipe sdcard)
6.) Go to Install Option in TWRP and install the Elite ROM zip file & Choose things Accordingly...
7.) Reboot with Pray
*If you still have Sync or Homescreen icons or Permissions issue, then try to change google services in k-settings OR replace vendor/lib64/libcutils.so with the one from ur previous rom or the one u had once worked using TWRP & wipe dalvic & cache... it will solve all your issues....
*No support for Magisk & Xposed Framework!!

Surely you have region other than Europe or C432... Now flash oeminfo of C432 and unlock BL again or live without those apps,,,

Go to version/special_cust/ and delete all other folders except your original one... Reboot

Use SuperSU and mount system rw with terminal,,, after remount, delete app folder using root explorer from system,,,
if it still dont work, mount system in TWRP nd Delete whatever you want to,,, be careful...

Reboot to EliteTWRP, change data filesystem back to ext4, format data and reboot recovery,,, Now restore stock Rom,,,

If you correctly flashed the ROM and you are EU region,,, then u should see it in Smart assistance in Settings,,, its enabled by default,,, if something not working,,, get me the recovery.log

I installed the patch region EU incorrectly
Now the file with my address is buggy and I need a healthy file for my phone :

Installation steps
If you are installing on S8/S8+ or any of Korean variants - SELECT LESS BLOATWARE OR THE PHONE WILL NOT BOOT
Make sure you have latest official TWRP installed (download latest official for Note8 or S8/S8+)
Make sure your phone is charged to at least 70%.
Download the ROM, and transfer to your phone / external SD card
Make sure OEM Unlock is ON in developer settings
Boot the phone into TWRP
- coming from hadesRom Q v2.0, no wipe is needed
- coming from any other setup than hadesRom, full wipe is mandatory - Dalvik Cache, Cache, Data (or select wipe in Aroma options)
Flash ROM and boot (first boot can take up to 15-20 min)
uncheck diagnostic data in setting wizard
How about bugs and/or issues and/or requests?
First read existing issues and the F.A.Q below to ensure its not a duplicate
Properly report issues by submitting an issue on GitHub
provide as much info as possible so the issue is not ignored / closed
Bugs at release of v2.0:
Common - Some camera modes (live focus, super slow motion)
Common - Permissive kernel (needed to for hw mismatch)
Common - Encryption (internal/external storage encryption is broken)
Common - Flashlight intensity
Due to the nature of this rom being a port from a different soc and these bugs being 95% hardware related, the above features have been disabled/hidden with a very small chance of succeeding in fixing them.

Q: Phone is showing YYY model but my phone is ZZZ model, is that normal?
A: Yes, that is very normal and very intented. Do not change it or you will break features.
Q: Why OEM toggle is missing in this rom?
A: I disabled it to be sure nobody gets locked by mistake.
Q: Magisk app not showing, what to do?
A: Download latest Magisk Manager from here and install as normal app.
Q: My phone shows locked because "Payment services was uninstalled without authorization", how to get rid of it?
A: Unfortunately you need to reflash rom, no wipe needed. Also don't try to debloat the rom again or you will have same issue.
Q: Installation failed, what to do now?
A: First of all make sure you have the pointed twrp. If the problem persists try to redownload the zip and/or reflash with selecting less things in Aroma installer. If you still have the problem, probably your device is not supported.
Q: How to report bugs?
A: If you want to report a bug make sure you include:
-device variant / modem version / bootloader version / region
-detailed info about the encountered issue
-steps to reproduce the bug
-logs
Q: How to take logs?
A: Download Logcat Extreme and take a look at this.
Q: TWRP can't mount data partition, what to do?
A: Make sure you formatted data partition if your previous rom was stock.
Q: Phone is not booting even after 20 minutes?
A: Try to reboot. If still not booting try to redownload the zip and/or reflash with selecting less things in Aroma installer and/or make sure you use the pointed TWRP and/or make sure you formatted data partition if your previous rom was stock.
Q: How to format data partition?
A:
Q: Phone is asking to reboot because sim changed, what should i do?
A: Reboot once and see if it appears again. If yes reboot again.
Q: Phone asks to wipe data because operator changed, should i wipe?
A: Try to cancel and just reboot. If you can't do that or the popup still appear, reflash the rom and wipe in Aroma installer.

Installation steps
If you are installing on S8/S8+ or any of Korean variants - SELECT LESS BLOATWARE OR THE PHONE WILL NOT BOOT
Make sure you have latest official TWRP installed (download latest official for Note8 or S8/S8+)
Make sure your phone is charged to at least 70%.
Download the ROM, and transfer to your phone / external SD card
Make sure OEM Unlock is ON in developer settings
Boot the phone into TWRP
- coming from hadesRom Q v2.0, no wipe is needed
- coming from any other setup than hadesRom, full wipe is mandatory - Dalvik Cache, Cache, Data (or select wipe in Aroma options)
Flash ROM and boot (first boot can take up to 15-20 min)
uncheck diagnostic data in setting wizard
How about bugs and/or issues and/or requests?
First read existing issues and the F.A.Q below to ensure its not a duplicate
Properly report issues by submitting an issue on GitHub
provide as much info as possible so the issue is not ignored / closed
Bugs at release of v2.0:
Common - Some camera modes (live focus, super slow motion)
Common - Permissive kernel (needed to for hw mismatch)
Common - Encryption (internal/external storage encryption is broken)
Common - Flashlight intensity
Due to the nature of this rom being a port from a different soc and these bugs being 95% hardware related, the above features have been disabled/hidden with a very small chance of succeeding in fixing them.

FAQ
Q: Phone is showing YYY model but my phone is ZZZ model, is that normal?
A: Yes, that is very normal and very intented. Do not change it or you will break features.
Q: Why OEM toggle is missing in this rom?
A: I disabled it to be sure nobody gets locked by mistake.
Q: Magisk app not showing, what to do?
A: Download latest Magisk Manager from here and install as normal app.
Q: My phone shows locked because "Payment services was uninstalled without authorization", how to get rid of it?
A: Unfortunately you need to reflash rom, no wipe needed. Also don't try to debloat the rom again or you will have same issue.
Q: Installation failed, what to do now?
A: First of all make sure you have the pointed twrp. If the problem persists try to redownload the zip and/or reflash with selecting less things in Aroma installer. If you still have the problem, probably your device is not supported.
Q: How to report bugs?
A: If you want to report a bug make sure you include:
-device variant / modem version / bootloader version / region
-detailed info about the encountered issue
-steps to reproduce the bug
-logs
Q: How to take logs?
A: Download Logcat Extreme and take a look at this.
Q: TWRP can't mount data partition, what to do?
A: Make sure you formatted data partition if your previous rom was stock.
Q: Phone is not booting even after 20 minutes?
A: Try to reboot. If still not booting try to redownload the zip and/or reflash with selecting less things in Aroma installer and/or make sure you use the pointed TWRP and/or make sure you formatted data partition if your previous rom was stock.
Q: How to format data partition?
A:
Q: Phone is asking to reboot because sim changed, what should i do?
A: Reboot once and see if it appears again. If yes reboot again.
Q: Phone asks to wipe data because operator changed, should i wipe?
A: Try to cancel and just reboot. If you can't do that or the popup still appear, reflash the rom and wipe in Aroma installer.

This may have been asked before but, if I do not have the OEM unlock in the developer options, is there anything I can do? I believe I have looked at it in the past and my version was not unlockable. (I am in the USA and purchased the unlocked version straight up from BestBuy.) I assume that means I do not have the Exynos version, is that correct?

There are programs like CPU-Z, Droid Info, or Aida64. In them you will find out which model you have and which processor: Exynos or Snapdragon. Please note that this thread only for Exynos. Come back here if you have Exynos.
