Why are search field and text color both white in Titanium Backup, like who thought that'd be a good idea? I can't see if I mistyped anything or not. Is there a way to change this?

This also happened to me when I changed phone to Samsung Galaxy. I did not have such issue on Z3 from Sony,

Did either of you ever find a solution? I'm assuming it's a rare issue since this is the first thread I've finally run across with the same issue. For reference, I'm running an Exynos Galaxy S7 (SM-G930F) on SuperMan ROM 2.5. I can't recall if this issue happened on stock since that was so long ago and it's not a big enough issue to go to the trouble of finding out.
I'm having the same problem with my new Samsung Galaxy Note 8. Just rooted it yesterday, and when I downloaded Titanium Backup to restore my apps, I found that the font color in the search field was white. Been looking for a fix all day!

Just updated my ROM on the S7. Same exact issue.
White font on white background for TV search
I've had the same problem on my S6 S7 S8 with Samsung based ROM
same exact issue with Galaxy Project Rom on a S7 device. A bit annoying !
Glad I'm not the only one I thought J was losing my mind!!

Hello dear xda members,I tested all the themes that should change my gs 3's appearance to an gs 4 but didn't find anything that I could like.Everything has a bug,and if someone can help me with this,it would be really nice.It would be great if the statusbar will be transparent with white text color and non-transparent notification icons.The app themes and the settings menu also white,and...you know,the basic Galaxy SIV appearance.
P.S Please tell me if you already tried it and it worked nicely

i tried version 5.2 and every time i wanted to type something,the keyboard force closes

not too sure why this is happening but whenever I try to change the font in weather location it doesn't change,it shows the font name when selected but won't change the actual on screen font,anyone else had this issue ?

We have the same problem. I tried all the fonts and still doesnt work. Hope someone can help us.

Have you tried reinstalling/clearing the data? We haven't picked up anything like that on our side. Maybe contact the support team at [email protected], as they might have a solution.
Sorted mine out ,I noticed that themer was reporting not saving to sd card,ended up reinstalling firmware now works fine,this is on the galaxy s2

Any one are tired of the blue and green colour over th system ui?
Has been using the tab s for 2 months and waiting for themers modify it. however, seems that not much themer or developer work on this device. Who can work on it or teach me how to do so?

have been asking for the tab pro rom port to the tab S both by thedevious1 since they are so similar..no response (understand that). I tried my own cut and paste...select priv apps and it boots but system ui error..individually can take the file manager and mms apks and they work fine with the lighter ui..the contacts also can be used but not with phone (dependencies I guess)..tried porting using some of the guides but what do I know..also most of guides are old and jb etc based
From what I could find, is that some themes from the theme store give you this message when trying go get into edge settings. Going back to stock theme solves the issue, BUT the error in the theme also disables the edge stuff. No side clock, no colors, nothing.
Anyone else noticing this? It sucks too as I like the captain America theme, but can't use it due to the above mentioned issues. I also looked for a feedback section in Samsung's theme store, but couldn't find one to let some one know about this issue.

Quick question-- do you have my Cocktail AutoOn mod flashed? I'm curious! Also if you post for me/everyone else a logcat at least I personally will take a look/investigate!

Yep, I got this with that new Space Odyssey theme. Like you said, there is no way that I can find to give feedback.

Sweet thank you! That just confirms for me my mod doesn't cause this! Woohoo! Also if you could send me that logcat, I'll take a look if we can patch it!
FYI. I discovered this issue, too. My S6E is completely stock, unrooted. So far the themes l have downloaded which cause this error are Iron Man, Hulk, Music, Space Odyessy, Stud_ Silver, and Vacation. I've notified Samsung via email, marked these themes as having a bug, and talked with Samsung Advanced Technical Support; who will be reviewing the themes' code for the issue. It has nothing to do with any of Trailblazer101's apps. Not all of the themes cause this error, so it does indeed seem to be a coding error in the themes themselves.
The new Horizon theme, same thing. It's really annoying that they keep putting these in our theme store! If it ain't compatible with the Edge then don't put it in the Edge theme store! It seems to be with the better looking themes that this happens to.
Took the OTA yesterday...it fixed this issue. No more "Unfortunately cocktailbar has stopped"!

Does this work screen off with 3rd party apps like hangouts? Initially it wouldn't glow the edge if the screen were off unless it was a text message.

Actually it doesn't seem to be working on my S8. It allows me to make the changes in settings but now the edge lighting doesn't come on with any of the apps I selected and even with messages/text.
I know this update is posted in the S8+ section so could that be the reason it's not working or does anyone know how to fix? thx

Mines not working at all.
It's a step in the right direction, but I think they should give you the option to manually pick the color for individual apps. Because I use Light Flow and I would much prefer if the edge lighting matched the same color as my notification LED.
Only one app was updated that was Edge Screen on my device. I have a G955U, and I ripped the apk and uploaded it. I haven't checked, but between devices the libraries could have been slightly different and the update redirects to multiple unreferenced versions for different devices.
So, sorry but I can only vouch this working on my end for the Galaxy S8+. I will update my download to reflect this statement.

After recent update it still works for me only in stock samsung messenger
and calendar apps. Nothing else, same as before.
If it works - it works in all possible combinations (face up/down, screen on/off).
