Finally, Micromax has released a new phone featuring Android Kitkat 4.4.2. It's called the Micromax Unite 2, based on Mediatek MT6582M chipset. Here are more details:

Mtk6582 roms cant be ported to mtk6589 just like that
the whole chipset is different uses a different file system.
It seems that mediatek roll out the kitkat update only for MT6582 and the MT6592
waiting for a guide on rooting this phone..

1 month search firmware for coolpad sky 3s / pro / e502s (3gb ram) still cant find it.

mt6735(a,b,c...)=mt6737(a,b,c...)=mt6753. Easy to port.

I would like to know how I can root Micromax canvas c1.
Some important specifications are:
OS Android 7.0 (Nougat)
Chipset Mediatek MT6737
CPU Quad-core 1.3 GHz Cortex-A53
GPU Mali-T720
I tried the various method to root the phone including Kingroot apk as well as from PC. But having the same issue of no root strategy available.
Now a long time passed after launching the phone we are hoping a root will be available soon. If there are some other methods are available to root particularly Micromax canvas c1 so please share it.
