Kindle Fire HDX can't boot to system and recovery. - Kindle Fire HDX 7" & 8.9" Q&A, Help & Troubleshoot

Sorry for my bad English.
I have a Kindle Fire HDX 7". It had recovery TWRP 2.8, ROM HDX Nexus 4.05 (Kitkat 4.4).
Yesterday, I was up the TWRP to version v3.0.3-1 and up ROM to LineageOS. But the ROM isn't suitable for me so I roll back to ROM HDX Nexus 4.0.5.
I go to recovery mode, factory reset and install the ROM but It's say the vesion of TWRP is newer so TWRP can't install ROM. So I install the TWRP version v3.0.0-1 and reboot to the recovery.
But It stuck at gray logo and I can't boot to Recovery. I can't boot to OS because of factory reset, it's a black screen after kindle fire logo shown.
Help me please!

Same Problem
I'm having the same problem, if I find anything I'll let you know.

Ok to boot to TWRP download the twrp img file from XDA and put in your adb directory and type fastboot boot nameofimg.img it may not work the first time but it'll work second time.

You have to boot in fastboot and Flash a working Image of TWRP to your recovery partition

You can also boot TWRP from fastboot ready as noted by the previous poster.

Want to install 4.4.2, but cannot enter recovery

Tablet is rooted. Tablet has unlocked bootoader.
ROM Manager reports that I have recovery installed - both TWRP and ClockwordMod Recovery 5.8.3.4.
I want to update to 4.4.2 but when I go to try to boot into recovery, via ROM Manager or just manual hold volume down and power, I get the dead Android on his back with a red exclamation. No matter what recovery I try I get this.
Any thoughts on how to get out of it?
Ok.. I used this process to successfully flash the FlatLine CWM Recovery! Which I can now boot into that recovery via RCK selection and recovery bootup (power + vol down key)!
Not sure why the other recoveries were borked... but the key is the FlatLine recovery allows me to boot into recovery.
So this allows one to at least boot into a recovery and make a backup.
BUT this will not, I found out, allow me to install 4.4.2 (CM11) since you must use a TWRP or CWM recovery to install 4.4.2 (CM11) as FlatLine will not allow it
So then I use the same above Fastboot method to push a CWM recovery for the TF201 - fresh download of 5.8.3.4 - since I need a CWM recovery to intall the 4.4.2 (CM11) and... no joy. I push it by fastboot, boot into recovery, select RCK and it says it is going to "booting recovery kernal image" and then just hangs.
so still stuck. Any thoughts? I need to get to a kit kat and tf201 compatible CWM or TWRP recovery to flash the new ROM but I am stuck. I can only boor into the FlatLine recovery, but that does no good now.
So.... I opted to install TWRP 2.7.0.0 and that installed. I was able to boot into it, backup, and then tried it all again and.... FAIL!!
I get the same failed error... ugh!
So a ROM Manager install of 5.8.3.4 CWM fails to even boot
So a Fastboot install of 5.8.3.4 CWM fails to even boot
So a Fastboot install of TWRP 2.7.0.0 boots but fails to allow the 4.4.2 (CM11) install
So a Fastboot install of FlatLine boots but fails to allow the 4.4.2 (CM11) install

" Note: Support Status
This device does not support the newest version of CyanogenMod. This may be due to hardware limitations or simply because development is not yet complete. The last version officially supported was based on the jellybean branch of CyanogenMod. "
I believe you cannot run kitkat cyanogenMod as far as I know because you need cwm 6.0.+ version that isn't there . However there is a method to install kitkat on tf201 . I say so because I am running latest version of cyanogenmod snapshot m8 android 4.4.4 on my tf201 . There is just a simple matter of flashing recovery for tf300t ( well when I say simple ... ) on your tf201 .
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2773812
take a look at the link above . To install crombi-kk you flash twrp recovery version 2.7.0.1 (I think check the version I don't remember) . however there is no such version for tf201 . I never installed the actual rom but I played around and notice after doing step 2,3,then 2 again (in crombi-kk upgrade instruction) my device won't run cwm for tf201 but works fine with tf300t version of cwm .
I am talking from experience and there is always a chance of bricking as this is not an official guide but I think its what I did .
I was on twrp latest version of tf 300t and I installed cm snapshot m8 android 4.4.4 for tf300t device successfully . after using the rom for a while I noticed hangs when your device was on sleep and you wanted to wake the device , it just wouldn't turn on which forced me to hold power for like 5-10 sec to force a reboot.
I solved this by flashing cwm 6.0.4.7 for tf300t via fastboot . Again seems like development for tf201 and also tf300t is going to hell . so you won't find this version of recovery for tf300t on cwm site .However if you google latest kitkat recovery for tf300t or smthing like that I'm sure you will find it . These I think are ports from other people than acutal cwm team ...
One thing is for sure ... Cyanogenmod cm11 require cwm 6.0.+ or twrp 2.7.0.1 ...
Edit : as always do a backup ... and MOVE IT OUT of internal SD since for some reason it formatted all my data on internal plus my backups ... I messed around with more stuff though . but just in case be prepared for a formatted internalSD ...
I think I bricked it for good this time
I now can no longer fastboot in, so I cannot change recovery apps. I can boot into recovery - TWRP.
I boot up and I no longer have the USB plugin icon and fastboot will just no longer allows me to push a new recovery - says no device present despite having done it 20 times earlier. WHich sucks as I had a TWRP and Flatline recovery saved, an now I am stuck on an older version of TWRP and it does not see the TWRP recovery I made from a newer TWRP version.
This happened when I updated the bootloader to Hairybean.
So I am stuck in a circle where I can boot into an old TWRP, cannot push a new recovery, bastfoot seems borked and the tablet won't boot into Android.
I am sorry to hear that . I can't see where you wen't wrong to the point that broke fastboot . The post no.4 in link above has step to step instruction .
There is always APX mode (if you have backups) . I personally haven't worked with it but you should be able to do a recovery ...
http://forum.xda-developers.com/wiki/APX_mode .
Edit : take a look at the other Thread you posted . you might be on the right track after all .

[Fire HD 7 4th gen] ClockWorldMod - How to install?

How can I install CWM for the Fire HD 7 (4th gen.)? (KFASWI - Fire HD 6 / 7 - Fire OS 5.1.2)
My Fire has no recovery at all (if I try to boot into recovery it boots normally) and I can't boot into fastboot either (it boots normally).
How can I install CWM? If I try to install TWRP I get no TWRP on reboot.
Please help, I want to install Xposed on it!

Just follow this :
http://forum.xda-developers.com/fire-hd/general/how-to-upgrade-to-lollipop-root-gapps-t3163950
Post #2 will get you into TWRP, so you can flash Xposed. Then you'll lose TWRP as you go back into FireOS 5, but can repeat this any time in the future !

That **** called xposed bricked my fire into a bootloop, only after 1 year I could unbrick it using the tutorial from bibi
:fingers-crossed:
As a long-time user, no-time developer on XDA, I appreciate "ClockWorldMod"... sounds like something I would have said in 2010, which really takes me back
FYI ClockWORKMod is the recovery you are referring to, I assume. And TWRP dominates since about 2012 or 2013 (correct me if I'm wrong, I'm no dev), so I certainly back the recommendation to use that tutorial.

[URGENT] Phone doesn't boot after switching from H2OS V2

While H2OS was loaded, I flashed TWRP. After that I rebooted to recovery, cleared all the essential things, flashed a ROM followed by a Gapps package. After that, when I chose reboot to system, the phone stays stuck at the OnePlus logo screen. I can't access the recovery either. I flashed 3 different versions of TWRP, but still couldn't boot to recovery. P.S.: Bootloader is unlocked
What can I do now?
UPDATE: BluSpark's modded TWRP works, but after flashing the ROM nothing boots

You should fastboot flash old OOS 2 stock recovery, then full OOS 2.2.2 Rom.
Then root and install offical TWRP (not BS V41).
Then install what you want (but not Oxygen or hydrogen on MM)

oh, root access is compulsory?
Just tinking about root, because I used it to install TWRP but you're right, fastboot flash could do it

I accidentally flashed wrong recovery image in my lenavo k4 note

My story:
1. I flashed my device with custom twrp recovery image before and was working normal.
2. Rooted the phone with supersu using that recovery image.
3. Flashed custom ROM to replace android 6.0 with 7.1, worked but got problem with file manger in custom ROM
4. Flashed new recovery image for android 7.1 as mentioned in the thread.
5. Again flashed same custom ROM but device start booting to new twrp recovery instead of regular ROM boot
6. Tried to flash old recovery image in order to fix the no. 5 problem.
In fact I accidentally flashed wrong recovery image which was for another Motorola device.
I cannot access recovery now, neither I can charge my phone.
Whenever I plug USB cable in my phone, Lenovo logo shows up and disappear, just stuck in boot loop
My phone Information:
Model: Lenovo A7010a48
Any Idea to access fastboot?
Did I just missed my phone?

Is there any latest stock boot img for Mi A3?

I accidently upgraded my phone to Android 10 11.0.14 ( prehaps ). I want to install TWRP on this phone, and I attempted to install it without flashing the boot img, and it caused to entirely be bricked and stuck on fastboot, and I did also attempt to change the slot, but ****** off. I tried using MiFlash, ****** off, reinstall, ****** off. I still kept my OnePlus rom and I succeed to install and normally use it, and it still remained TWRP. I installed the stock rom for it cuz Oxygen is so unstable, and I did, but the TWRP is lost. I reinstalled it, but it bricked, again. I entered TWRP, wipe all data, and enter again, but lost TWRP. I figured that I did miss flashing boot img, thanks to a thread I accidently read. And I also figured how stupid I was when I just did upgraded my phone to the latest version, and there is no boot img compatible to that version, and I did searched entire internet for it. I didnt try to flash the boot img of the early version cuz I am afraid it bricked again cuz of the compatibility. So when will I expect for a boot img file to flash TWRP and when can I download and use it? Or technically I dont need that boot img file and just simply change the slot and flash it? Ty.
try this boot img, its compatible with android 10 also twrp is already installed in the boot img.
https://sourceforge.net/projects/mi...HR_Q-v2.2-laurel_sprout-official.img/download (its for official android 10 rom)
then flash whatever rom you like then flash this zip, it will install shrp recover

Hang on. What do you mean by TWRP is already installed ? Does it mean that boot img file already contained TWRP or I do need to install it as a boot img to get the phone boot and work normally?
And btw, is installing SHRP Recovery an opinion or a must?

the boot img already contain twrp, and the boot img should be able to boot your rom (stock android 10) and no shrp is not a must you can use any recovery you like, but if you want to keep your recovery after installing a rom you have to install the recovery installer zip
