Try replace these props in /system/build.pop with this
Code:
ro.build.description=hermes-user 5.0.2 LRX22G V8.2.1.0.LHMCNDL release-keys
ro.build.fingerprint=Xiaomi/hermes/hermes:5.0.2/LRX22G/V8.2.1.0.LHMCNDL:user/release-keys
and use Magisk to have root and enable Magisk Hide in the Magisk Manager settings.

Stop Apps Detecting Root?

Hi Everyone,
Alot more apps seem to be detecting root nowadays, and after Googling solutions I can't seem to find anything that works anymore.
I used to just deny the app in SuperSU but this doesn't seem to work anymore with the Sky Q app and Android Pay.
Im currently using Pixel.
Does anyone have any apps or methods?

Use Rootcloak Xposed module to hide apps detecting your root. Add apps that you want to stop detecting root.
Download it from here. You need to install Xposed framework.

Brilliant, does it work with Android 7 though?

Unfortunately both Xposed and Rootcloak not supported to android Nougat.
You can use hide my root app developed by amphoras to hide root access. Download from play store. I don't know it supports android Nougat.
Developer not given information about Nougat compatibility. Try and see
If it helped. Please thank me.
Iv already tried it, didnt work. Hopefully something comes up soon
Thanks

Use suhide app developed by famous android developer chainfire.
It can hide root on per app basis.
It is in experimental stage and it supports to android Nougat.

i tried it, but it caused a boot loop. I Looked through the thread, and it seems to be an issue with November's update. I'll wait for him to update the app and try again but it looks promising.
thanks very much.

How to play Fate GO on unrooted rom cook

I've been trying to get FGO working but I keep getting the error about root. I've removed Magisk but nothing happen im using NOS 8.1
Probably works on MIUI, even better on a 7.1 rom without root. Link me the app and I'll test it.

What magisk version are you using? And did you add FGO to magisk hide?
With LL SIF that also complains about root, magisk hide solves that no problem.

Does google pay work on Poco after rooting

I'm on stock MIUI 10.2 Pie right now. I wanted to stay on this ROM only since it's pretty stable however wanted root to enable adblocking and viper4android.
I wanted to know, if I could still use Google Pay after root. Is Magisk Hide on latest version able to do that ? Any users from India, please let me know..
Yes but for that you have to turn off 'telephone' permission of google play services

Flash Pixel experience ROM, but don't root it. I mean use it as it is without flashing magisk. Every banking app will work fine.
However, if you want to use magisk hide then-
Phonepe - working
Paytm - working
Bhim - working
Google pay / Tez - not working.
Yes you can use the Tez app after disabling telephone permission. But you will not be able to make any transactions from your side. However, you can receive transactions from other people.

Yes first of all hide the google pay account from Magisk hide. then go to installed app and select show system app from three dotted line on near right status bar and find google play services.
Disable permission of play service on telephone, contact, call logs and then reboot your phone.
Now you can enjoy google pay on your device.:good:

In India, Google pay works with bank IDs called upi rather than NFC.
Yes, use Magisk & then use module MagiskHide Props Config. I used the above method on Xperia XZ & Google Pay worked again, even via NFC.

I'm not too sure on that one, I'm in the same boat with my Pocophone at the moment as it shows that it passed safetynet, but some apps still see that I'm rooted. Give it a try if you have trouble with some apps.

Hide unlocked bootloader

Hi. I started with android builds and i was able to build my own images of lineage os 17 for lg nexus 4(mako) and xiaomi mi 9t(davinci). For xiaomi i have a problem that system detects unlocked bootloader. Do you know what need to be changed in android code to hide bootloader status for safetynet?
Likely this:

Thanks. I tried those patches https://github.com/ProtonAOSP/android_system_security/commit/qt but still safety net detect unlocked bootloader. Do you have any idea how to fix it? I rebuild lineage os from scratch. I removed out dir and execute mka clean. So i think that changes are included in new build.

Well, besides those patches you'd probably also have to change the props that are associated with an unlocked bootloader. Just like Magisk does it:
https://github.com/topjohnwu/Magisk...bc1/native/jni/magiskhide/hide_policy.cpp#L12

I can't find place where those properties are set :/. I'm thinking about creating new app in c++ and run it together with android, like service. Do you know how to do this? Currently i'm looking on frameworks/native/services but i'm not sure if this is a right way. This service will monitor system parameters which magisk is chainging in hide_policy and change to 'proper' values.

could you please elaborate? I'd very much like to use an app that refuses to run on phones with unlocked bootloader (while still beeing rooted which requires an unlocked bootloader...)
Just stopped by with the same question. I've used MagiskHide and hidden the Magisk app to do what I can. The unlock bootloader setting is still turned on with a message saying the bootloader is locked.
"fastboot flashing lock" would change that and I may be able to install the patched boot.img with SP Flash Tool.
Device is an RFinder B1+(14), similar to the RFinder B1+ and the Runbo E81. It has a MTK 6765 (Helio P35) chipset. I'm hesitant to screw with the bootloader again on a $2,000 device. I already had bricked it once and recovered, even the developers were stumped.
Just thinking out loud here. BTW, this idea may work with several MTK devices and I know the 22 Moto G Power runs the same CPU with less RAM (6765 Helio p37). My B1+ has 6GB of RAM, the 'Power only has 4.

Android 13 custom ROM + safetynet pass

7TPro global phone
Looking to go from stock to custom android 13 ROM.
Will I be able to achieve full pass on safetynet or can that only be done on Android 12.
Not just Google wallet, I need to pass as work blocks rooted phones.
If it's doable is there any suggestion on which 13 ROM to go for.
