Did you try it? If you did what are the results?

Hi guys just bought a lg k4 2017 locked to telstra. what i would like to know is how to debrand the handset am i able to flash the unlocked models stock kdz on the handset ? Also where can i get the generic unlocked models stock kdz for this handset? I dont require root just need the handset to be free of the mobile carriers branding.

Hello, seeking some help with a Brightpoint 10h LG G5 that I ended up receiving from a purchase off eBay. Unfortunately, I realized only afterwards that there were 2 variants of the RS988 and of course I received the one that can't get the bootloader unlocked.
Anyway, as the title states, I'm wondering if it's safe to flash the USA version kdz onto my Brightpoint model. And is it even worthwhile as a means to try and update the firmware?
Any and all help is very much appreciated.

Hey, Mr. Smitty,
I believe the LG Flash tool would prevent you from flashing the regular USA onto your Brightpoint. Have you had any success?

Kindly please tell me how did u get to know that your phone is BRIGHTPOINT not US Variant???
I have LG G5 RS988 with 21D Android 7.0 Nougat. I don't know if my phone is US or BRIGHTPOINT...
I was not receiving any OTA from my current firmware because I guess I'm not in USA.
therefore, I'm planning to flash a Korea Firmware(snapdragon) on my US unlocked S9+(snapdragon).
Is it possible?
Also I can flash CSC only of other country to my US unlocked device?
Eg. flashing CSC from SM-G965F to my SM-G965U1.

I'm in the USA. Amazon cheap refurbished phone, didn't exactly send a US phone, but tech skills should be able to fix that right?
