If you are on nougat having 1080p 60fps enable will disable stabilization options. Disable 60fps and check them .

second camera

Hey guys...
I´m searchin for an application, which allows me to use the second camera of my htc touch pro 2. Any Ideas for that?
I think this camera is there for video calls, but i would like to use it for making pictures.
Cheers, stephan1
im pretty sure the TP2 doesnt have a second camera, just a light sensor for the auto backlight adjustment

"Steady Recording"

So I was playing around in the camera settings ....
I noticed that the option for "steady recording" is greyed out and/or not selectable for the back camera.
It is an option on the selfie camera.
Anyone come across this?
Ok ..
Just figured it out.
Apparently it's selectable when setting resolution to lower settings.

Correct. You might want to play with using it off in certain situations as I find that sometimes the EIS (Steady recording) and OIS will fight each other.

How do you enable Video Stabilization in the camera app?

It's greyed out.
I tried almost any imaginable combination... What am I missing?!
Chck out the resolution options. Some options disable the stabilization. I think anything above 1080 60FPS has it disabled.

nope it's greyed out no matter what i select.
I'm on at&t variant.
You have to deselect Tracking AF. Can't have it enabled at the same time as Video Stabilization.
I'm just a girl who doesn't probably doesn't know very much but I was having the same problem. How to enable stabilization? The answer... It doesn't work in QHD and 1:1 resolutions. Ta-daah!

Is that you Ducky?........Australia?
u probably shouldn't enable it, s9 already has a hardware camera stabilizer that works no matter what, if u turn on software stabilization it will warp ur videos or blur them.
u can test this theory out by walking in a straight line the video stabilization off should be more stabilized than the software stabilization.
I can't enable video stabilization. Tracking focus always turned off. Already tried all resolution, but the option still grayed out
*Edit: So it because I put QHD resolution for front facing camera.

Normal Slow Motion

Hi, my question is how can I record a "normal" Slow Motion video, because I can't find it in the camera app. I know that we have Super Slow Motion, but not the normal Slow Motion.
Thank you!
Open camera/camera settings/edit camera modes. Tick the slow motion mode

Question Night mode on 10x is garbage

Has anyone noticed too much noise on the 10x lens in nightmode?
Ummmm...f/4.9 apperture, what do you expect from a 1/3.52" sensor.
The perisope is a lens for good (day) light.
You wouldn't shut your Canon 250mm f/5.6 at night without tripod.

The telephoto lens' aren't meant for nightography. Use 1x at night.
Install camera assistant then go into the stock camera settings and do the following...
Camera Assistant
Auto lens switching
Toggle auto lens switching off
This has you truly using the lens you've selected. Cause ordinarily the camera crops the main lens in sometimes even when you choose 3x or 10x lens. Ridiculous! Makes the zoom grainy as hell

Is ridiculous isn't it. Cropping the main lens to give us grainy hell. Works sometimes for the situation but for me it's more of a miss than a hit

Then turn off auto lens switching. I haven't had any issues since installing camera assistant.

They are both there.
Camera Assistant is accessible through settings, near the bottom.
Expert Raw is one of the available modes, like Night and Portrait. Scroll the modes until you see More. Tap, and you'll see the additional modes. You can move them to the main screen if you want.

Ok , but you need to download these first in order to see their menus inside camera app. AND when you try to move Expert raw in main menu camera, you can't because the Expert Raw button becomes grey
